New Addition to the 9/11 Door to Door Project

The 911podcasts entry for 911 Door to Door has been updated with a 3rd segment by Ian C. Be sure to check it out along with the two previous clips from Jon Gold to get a good idea of what average Americans on the street have to say about 9/11.

Good job Ian, these clips are quickly becoming a personal favorite.

That was cool. I don't have a video camera so I can't do any of this.

I would hope that, at the least, you and Jon are offering the people a small piece of paper [web banner size] of the addresses for 911Blogger and/or 911Podcasts so they can see themselves on video, and also be introduced or see much more 9/11 information that they didn't know existed, at either site.

I'll make a printable page later of small banner sized cut-outs for 911Blogger and 911Podcast links, that you can print, cut then hand out to people that you ask the question(s) to.

Your guys on-screen voices and demeanors sound good. Totally non-threatening, non-condescending, non-attitudish etc. Just a polite straight forward question.

Good work.

no...i just asked them if they wanted to be a part of my video survey about 9/11 :)

My initial inclination for

My initial inclination for the first two girls is to feel sorry for them, genuinely feel bad for them and what they know to be true.
But then again, there's that part of me that thinks back to my years of youthful indiscretion and I laughingly roll my eyes at how great it felt to be a kid, without a worry. Not because itÂ’s a lack of knowledge, rather an overwhelming feeling that they canÂ’t be stopped, no matter what. When youÂ’re young, itÂ’s like nothing can stop you. You donÂ’t even think about death. So long as they have freedom to be what they want, when they want it, and the world isnÂ’t literally crashing down on them in their personal space, then theyÂ’re content. If you do invade that space though, be prepared for a wrath.
Perhaps, before you ask them any questions, you should have them speak on how well informed they believe themselves to be, this way we can see where theyÂ’re coming from, how, if at all theyÂ’ve been taught anything through classroom and/or mainstream media conditioning. That would only be fair, to the viewer and the people being interviewed, IMHO.

K, when is this guy going to

K, when is this guy going to come to Chicago and ask that question? Cause, seriously, Chicago is *Big City* (as in you'll find every type of person here, not just race, not just class, but personality) but also everyone has a mid-western attitude (aka: open, honest, expressive, wanting to talk a while). Come to Chicago, and when you do, I'll tell you the most diverse places to pose your question+camera at! You could make a full length feature movie out of the response you'll get here! :)

I hate to generalize but I

I hate to generalize but I find this true for the majority of young people, and people in general.

I'm 23 and get frustrated at my peers' lack of interest in politics in general. I even study at a university and I still find this, although not as much. I find that many have adopted an attitude that it is "un-cool" to bother one's self with politics and the like. Getting wasted and watching American Idol have top priority. University classes teach critical thinking and methods to increase one's awareness, but I find that many don't see fit to apply this beyond their midterms. They ought to apply it to the real world where it was meant to be applied. Have young people always been this apathetic? If not, what is different now compared to a time like the 60's?

I'm tired of seeing little Paris Hilton clones walking around. How do we reverse this process? How do we reverse this survivalist mentality and remind people that they themselves are the future?

anonymous No offense but I

anonymous

No offense but I lived in Chicago for over 15 years and have lived all over the country and world. Sadly to say the people there are quite foolishly proud and narrow minded compared to comparable size cities of there stature around the country and world.

There is an undeniable

There is an undeniable negative correlation between mainstream society's version of the attractive person and intelligence. This is only true in the general sense of course.

Why is this so? Are they really dumber? Do they stop trying because they don't need to be intelligent to get attention?

Those girls might get an 8/10 for looks, but their personalities bring them down somewhere around 2/10. Absolutely un-datable IMHO.

KEB, hmmm, I've lived in Europe, Asia, bible-belt Florida, and have travelled all over the world. Chicago is the most diverse, yet easy-going, place I've ever experienced. Did you ever find yourself walking by "public housing" project and have incredibly enlightening conversations with the "locals"? Have you ever been to a Chicago hospital? Did you actually get out much in Chicago?

"It takes balls doing what you did"

a little, but when you actually get out there and start talking to them, it's really not bad at all. you just have to get past the part of thinking that "they'll think i'm crazy". There's so many people out there right now that have some doubts about 9/11, but haven't really thought about it that much. As long as you're not going "Alex Jones" on them right away, it should be a breeze.

This is a really good idea.

This is a really good idea. I might have to try this here in San Diego. It will be really interesting to see what people here think since it is a military city.

I've got a flyer in MS Word

I've got a flyer in MS Word I want to share. Somebody recommended photobucket but they only take photos. Anybody know of a file sharing free service that takes word files?

I've said this many times,

I've said this many times, but here I go again: 9/11, 7/7, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, North Korea, etc. won't matter to the majority of Americans (and the rest of the world), like how they do to us, until some actual consequences are felt from them. Right now, the vast majority of Americans are employed and the country is in the midst of a large economic expansion. The stock market is high and home "ownership" (yeah right!) is at all-time highs. Although freedoms are dwindling, the frog is being boiled slowly enough that the majority of people just don't notice what's happening. In the rest of the world the perception is worse because the economic expansion is even greater for them and very few of those countries were/are directly involved in any of the above fiascos.

These perceptions will only change when one of the following four things happen:

1. A draft is enacted after an escalation of combat operations in the Middle East. The Vietnam era protests would be made to look like a bunch of disorganized picnics if this were to ever happen. Such a measure would tear the country apart in ways that would harken back to the Civil War era, IMHO.

2. The US economy goes into a tailspin, eventually falling into a depression. The stock market falls by at least 50% over a 2-5 year period. Unemployment doubles. Most of the population defaults on their (record) debt obligations, even though interest rates stay low- that's how bad the situation gets. A lot of pissed off, unemployed people- especially layed off architects and structural engineeers- will have a lot of time on their hands and need to vent...

3. Smoking gun-type evidence surfaces about US government involvement in 9/11. This would come in the form of actual papers, or at least one highly credible person with firsthand knowledge of of what really occurred on that day- or both. I don't think I need to tell anyone that this is, by far, the least likely scenario of four. Professor Jones is WAY too optimistic, IMHO.

4. A military lockdown of the entire US is enacted after another large scale false flag attack is successfully completed. Posse Comitatus and the 3rd Amendment would immediately be suspended- perhaps permanently- and first responders would be subject to the scrutiny and control of the iron fist of the military. You think that "the truth" would be ascertained by "The People" during a time like that? Think again. This is obviously the worst case scenario. But it is also fairly likely. I give it at least a 1/5 chance of happening before the end of 2010.

I apologize for being so negative, but this is precisely what we're up against. I still think that scenario #2 is the most likely of the four, but the last one is most frightening. In fact, #4 may very well follow #2 in order to allow the government to keep control of its angry citizens. I viewed the Katrina response as a ramping up and dress rehearsal of a future military lockdown. Homeland Security deliberately hindered the efforts of FEMA and other first responders; mercenary groups such as Blackwater were hired to "keep order" on the streets of New Orleans; and there was a great deal of talk of the suspension of Posse Comitatus during future "national emergencies". If there were to ever be another false flag attack successfully executed on American soil again, then you can expect much worse from the government than what happened during Katrina, or even 9/11, for that matter.

The bottom line for all 9/11 Truthers is to stay eternally vigilant. The closer we get to the truth, the closer we are- potentially- to disaster. The perpetrators will stop at absolutely nothing in their quest for dominion and power. At the same time, however, every action has an equal and opposite reaction. The conspirators pushed; we're pushing back. But, I can assure you of this: they will push again. I urge you all to keep this in mind at all times as we go forward.

Baraka, all you need to do

Baraka, all you need to do is use gas prices as an example of how the average american has LOST purchasing power. Real wages have stagnated. Combined that with the charts that show how the top 2% are gaining wealth at a massive rate. And that money isn't trickling down. It is being invested in Asia. The national debt has gone up by $600 billion a year. And the media doesn't cover any of it.

I think that's enough to open people's minds a bit. As to where to steer them so they can become informed for themselves... that's a bit more complicated. I'd say it will take at least 100 hours of serious personal independent research to completely dispel this corporate media paradigm of tyranny most of us live under. Obviously most people aren't willing to put that much time into it. There's no magic "red pill" anyone can take to see the truth.
