dz, great to see this at the top of 911blogger.... I've been thinking about this book lately, since I have so many Christian relatives (I've long since departed religiosity myself).... and have been curious about Griffin's approach in the book and how staunch Republican southern Christians might view it. It seems a perfect kind of book for Griffin -- bringing together both his religious faith and his awakened state on 9/11. Anyone here read it yet?

I second that. Wow, when that MSNBC talking head tried to argue for the Israeli position and she didn't get the answer she was looking for, she asked if the woman supported Hezbollah. It reminded of Jessica McBride trying to slander Kevin Barrett during her interview when she asked if Kevin sympathized with terrorists. Unreal.

Although I had been to Malaysia on a previous visit in 2004, this recent trip was special because, for the first time, I met two fellow Americans who have been speaking out on the lies of 9-11: namely William Rodriguez—observed to have been “the last man out” of the World Trade Center’s north tower, as it collapsed around him—and Jimmy Walter who has spent millions of dollars of his own money in trying to show Americans (and the world) that we’ve been lied to (by our own government) about what really happened on 9-11.

Although I had admired their work, having read Christopher Bollyn’s accounts of their efforts in AFP, I had never seen Rodriguez or Walter “in action.” In Malaysia, I saw both good Americans stand up and speak out.

All real Americans can be proud of them for what they did there: They told the truth. And the Malaysian audiences loved them.

The international audience at the fair—some 1,000 strong—was intrigued by the fact that here were Americans—including a 9-11 survivor—telling them that it was not “the Muslims” who were responsible for 9-11, but that the conspiracy went much higher and much deeper.

I too am interested in reading Griffin's approach to dealing with the state terror and psy-op of 9/11 from a Christian angle. It's ironic that one of the most horrific events America has seen has been perpetrated by an Administration that uses and abuses Christian rhetoric to the most perverse extreme.

The most central of the fictitious elements of The Big Lie of 9/11 is religion-based. When those who are struggling to reveal truths about 9/11 frame their presentations in religious contexts, that tends to make that government's religious-based fictional account of 9/11 ring true to many people.

The reason that no TBL has ever been defeated is because it's so big that people get wrapped up in its fictitious tentacles, making them seem more, not less, real to most people. It's tricky to oppose TBL without, regardless of intent, strengthening it.

IMHO, the best single measure of a 9/11 presentation's value is how
impossible the presenter makes it for people to keep clinging to the
belief that they can blame "Muslim hijackers" for 9/11. Further, if
the presentation tries to advance that unfounded belief (especially
subliminally), then it is acting as government propaganda.

I think this book is OUTSTANDING. ZI never bring my own personal religion to the table when discussing 9/11, but as a practicing Buddhist a key aspect of faith - one of its core values - is ACTION. Faith without action - and accountability - is worthless.

I think it is outstanding that DRG would challenge people on a spiritual level to examine their own faith - and how it applies to TRUTH and ACCOUNTABILITY.

I think the message should also appeal to athiests as well. ETHICS and MORALITY are not simply christian concepts.

there is MORAL obligation in what we do. Social justice. it is a higher calling. i applaud this book - and i believe we should all be activists to ensure that people of faith - all faiths - read it.

this will be the perfect book. FINALLY someone in the movement focuses on the medias monumental failure in regards to 9/11. thats half the battle in my opinion, pointing out to people that the media has no interest in getting to the bottom of something like 9/11.sadly, most americans think the MSM is a truly "free press" and that if the government was involved in 9/11, they would surely tell us.this is why it is CRUCIAL to discuss the media when talking about 9/11.i cant wait for this book.every 9/11 book or documentary from here on out should have a segment on the media,how its set up,who owns it, and why they have no interest in telling us the whole story.
