Nice! This is EXACTLY the grass roots guerrilla activism we need to be doing in every city, especially major cities. Put stickers on toll booth areas, public restrooms, "OBEY" like stencils, posters , dvd and flyering, and freeway blogging. There needs to be a concerted effort with 9/11/2006 coming up.

i agree pocky. no need to sit here and chat all day, or watch videos you've already seen. Instead it is time to print things out and burn DVDs, and get them out there.
Does anybody remember the ads for the first "Ghostbusters" movie. They started out as very small box ads on the movies page, maybe 1" x 1", with a figure of what looked like a tiny ghost. As the date of the premier approached the ads kept getting larger and larger.
Could we try the same idea in our local regular and/or alternative newspapers leading up to the fifth anniversary of 9/11? I'm not sure what section we should put them in, or if we're even allowed to publish them. Here's my suggestion:
9/11 =
INSIDE
JOB!!!
Can you think of a better one?

You know, Chris, it is very hard to find clear/concise 9/11 stickers. Where can such stickers be obtained? (So many other stickers are too damn ambiguous/useless, IMO.)

That sticker thread a few articles down on this blog is great.
Yes, if you are going to engage in non-violent civil disobedience re: 9/11, don't chose cryptic/puzzling 9/11 stickers. The general public just glance at them a few seconds. The message has to be spelled-out loud & clear, not something they have to figure out or guess at!
those stickers are too expensive and they do not have bold websites listed on them. i wouldn't recommend wasting your money if you're looking to do real street activism.

With the exception of the light poles I personally think that where these stickers were placed reminds me of vandalism. I think we run the risk here of alienating people instead of welcoming them. Just a thought.

it is vandalism (whether on lightpoles or on crosswalks). but governments who carry out false flag terror events which kill thousands of people and perpetuate economic systems which are killing our earth planet, do not have the credibility to tell us what is and is not illegal.
wake the fuck up!
the times they are a fucking changing!

I am going to print out signs on my computer and tape them on the poles at busy intersections. People do it for garage sales, etc., all the time so it's not really vandalism.
