The Austin Citizens for 9/11 Truth group is sponsoring a free event on Wednesday, August 2nd.
This event features a lecture by Scholars for 9/11 Truth Full Member Davidson Loehr, author of the acclaimed book "America, Fascism + God", and a showing of the 2005 documentary "Martial Law" at the First Unitarian Universalist Church at 7pm, discussion to follow. 4700 Grover. 452-6168.
The focus of this evening is both to explore the events of 9/11 and to put the resulting drastic changes in American life since that day in context.
We would like to extend an invitation to everyone (and their guests) to attend this event.

The implications of the 9/11 truth movement are ones that will rock the very foundations of the Republic and the American system of governance. It is not easy for a politician or some one else who is dependent on or critically involved in that system to act in a manner which will make it fall faster than WTC7 because it will expose their complicity in far lesser crimes and because there will be no future for them when it happens.
9/11 truth will demand and require radical change in the way we currently do business. The power brokers in that system will not allow that to happen. The implications for business, Congress, the Presidency and the media are exceedingly ugly.
Our choice is to stick our heads back in the sand and watch the systematic dismantlement of the Republic and the American way of life, or to face the truth and embrace the incredibly difficult task of restoring it.
There is no middle road here.
Hilary, next in line for the Presidency, is not going to risk the ire of the power brokers, the bankers, Rupert Murdoch, et al to ask a question or two about 9/11. Neither is any Congressman who is beholden to the military-industrial complex, or AIPAC, or the NeoCon machine. Rove has already intimidated Congress into a bowl of quivering Jello.
