Muckraker: Osama STILL Not Indicted For 9/11
FACT: Osama bin Laden has NOT been indicted for his involvement in 9/11
...For Americans that question the government’s account of 9/11, this lack of indictment is yet another awkward misfit stumbling among a crowd of government inconsistencies that makes maintaining even partial subscription to the neo con rhetoric regarding 9/11 happenings and the War on Terror, logically impossible. How can any critical-thinking American continue to believe the government lines on bin Laden, Al-Qaeda, terrorism, and terrorist plots when it has yet to legally produce the evidence required to gain a federal indictment of Osama bin Laden? After all, the evidence threshold for gaining a federal indictment is much lower than for gaining a conviction. Yet for reasons that remain obscure from the public record, the U.S. government, under full neo con control, has not gained such an indictment of Osama bin Laden. For rightful doubters of what the U.S. government and the mainstream media have been and continue to report about the bazaar War on Terror, this lack of indictment only fuels suspicion of the U.S. government...

Osama STILL Not Indicted
After all, the evidence threshold for gaining a federal indictment is much lower than for gaining a conviction.
Exactly! Not indicting Osama by now is yet another big smoking gun!
Sure, uh huh....
Maybe you'll finally get around to producing evidence that 9/11 was an "inside job" before we all get old and die.
Why don't we all email Arthur Schwartz?
"Arthur Schwartz, Staff Assistant with the DOJ Public Affairs Office, asked that the Muckraker Report e-mail the questions to Arthur.Schwartz@usdoj.gov"
I'd suggest that ALL OF US who frequent this site write an email to Arthur Schwartz (at the email address listed above) and ask him “Why has Osama bin Laden not been indicted by a federal grand jury in connection with his alleged masterminding of 9/11?”
Maybe we all should continue to email him this same question every 3 days or so in case he forgets. ;-)
They don't want to indict someone who was working for them
It wouldn't be cricket.
Osama
It also explains why Bush "doesn't spend a lot of time worrying about" catching Osama. If he caught Osama, he would be expected to prosecute him .... with what evidence? And, Osama might be able to afford a good attorney who would ask for all the evidence against him. Osama's lawyer might come up with some alternative theories to present to a jury. The explosives in WTC 7 might create reasonable doubt. Ah, yes, the Osama problem.
Interesting theory about 9/11

What do you think?
like Zarqawi they'll let
like Zarqawi they'll let Osama "die" one day, in a videotaped bombing, DNA identified a' la' Flight 77, and all the MSM will jump on it how much safer we are now, thanks to the Commander in Chief, GWB
Anyone notice?
That less and less people seem to be buying into these latest "foiled" terror plots?
Make sure to catch the
Make sure to catch the special on Osama either tomorrow night or wedensday night at 9 pm on channel CNN for some good laughs. (cant remember which cnight exactly, check the local listing though)
23rd
The show airs on the 23rd. I know this because I've seen 6 billion ads/spots about it over the last week or so.
You can bet your ass all
You can bet your ass all video and photographic images that will be shown on CNN will be from pre-2001.
I saw the film World Trade
I saw the film World Trade Center last saturday (dont worry i didnt pay for it) I thought it was rather good. Definitely not a political film. It was more of a tribute film to the NYPD and FDNY. I can understand why some of you are pissed about this film tho. The collapse of WTC7 was shown and I jumped and shouted LOOK AT THAT!!
one reason to go watch it...
Awesome. Let's think of other things we could yell during that part: "What the hell happened to THAT building?!" or "Wait a second... no PLANE hit THAT one..." or "Oh yeah I think I remember that one--it was owned by the guy who leased the towers seven weeks before they were destroyed--what an amazing coincidence!" And of course, act stunned as if you've never been shown the collapse by the MSM...

I asked if he meant "antidotes".... if so, I fully agree.
Add me to the list of people who would rather live with the risk of facing an occasional terrorist, personally... long before living under totalitarianism, constantly.

risk taking vs. the "Bush doctrine"
ditto, exactly. That's what nobody seems to get in the MSM and it must be originating from the wealthy establishment: We don't agree with spending trillions just "not" to have a second 9/11, then we're safe, but broke! Rather than the financial hardship of govt. fiscal ruin that will soon reach out to each and every citizen, we'll accept a 0.01% risk of being somehow killed/maimed by these evil freedom-hating terrorists.

We could go either way - I like both words
anecdote: short account of an incident (especially a biographical one) I can argue that totalitarianism is a short sighted response to terrorism.
However, I meant to use antidote. Good catch! I will edit soon."

Never one to miss a chance to rant a touch more,
Hello Mr. Haas:
Understood.
Totalitarianism is an idiotically shortsighted anecdote trading one form of terror in place of another.
Totalitarianism offers worthless efficacy as an antidote when the cure kills the patient as fast as the illness.
cool..... have a wonderfully free day, both from silly medicine and its practitioners.

People don't get it. We are
People don't get it. We are held by the terrorists. Accept totalitarianism; give up all your freedoms; do as we say .... or else ..... we'll do another 9/11 .... and another and another. The price of "safety" is complete subjugation. Remember Dick Cheney during the 2004 election campaign warning people that if they didn't vote Republican "we'll get hit again?" And we would have! And we WILL ... probably in October. Or, if they cook the election again and the Republicans stay in the house and the senate, it will come after the elections to soften us up for a complete conflagration in the mideast. They "own" enough internal power in the military, FAA, Norad, NSA, CIA and god only knows where else, that I don't know if we'll get out of this 10th circle of hell.
Authentication Of Bin Laden Confession Tape In Doubt
I've always taken for granted that the CIA or the FBI authenticated it. I challenge you to find a story that says they did. They authenticate everything else. Why not that, the MOST important tape from Bin Laden?
They do it for everything else...

Colin Powell promised a "White Paper" that would show the evidence linking Bin Laden to 9/11. That never came. Could the fact that this video wasn't authenticated be the reason why that lone reporter asked the President about it's authenticity?
By the way...
The footage of Tim Russert talking with Colin Powell about the "White Paper", and Ari Fleischer's next day denial of that conversation are in "9/11: Press For Truth".
The bin laden tape came out
The bin laden tape came out around the same time several government officials around the world began to doubt bin laden's involvement in the attacks, especially after he has publicly strongly denied any involvement numerous times. Coincidence? I think not.
Right...
But the tape itself was never authenticated. That speaks VOLUMES.
bin Laden
I remember some incidents of reporters & privite citizens being ridiculed & ejected from press conferences, public meetings, etc., for having asked questions doubting the "official story", especially concerning Osama & his 19 flunkies. This mainly occurred in the weeks & months after 9/11. (It was a very effective way to suppress the truth & shut people up.)
It's a poor sort of memory that only works backwards...
Let's see... CNN airs documentary on the life and crimes of bin Laden... next, bin Laden indictment will be issued, because "the Feds finally have an artight case, which is why they waited..." THEN, bin Laden will meet the business end of some pin-point accurate missile in the last cave they hadn't checked in Tora Bora, just in time for the mid-term elections, where Democrats' poor showing will be attributed to their criticism of the War President and their laughable claims that they are the REAL anti-terror party. But lest we feel too safe with bin Laden off to meet his virgins, there will maybe probably be "another 9-11" about a year before the '08 elections, which Hillary will seize on as proof that she would be tougher on terror, it being inconceivable that it would take her administration 5 years to catch [insert demonic sounding Arab name]. Then, depending on who wins the coin toss, [demonic sounding Arab] will either be caught before the election (giving McCain a fighting chance) or not until after Hillary is sworn in. Three typing monkeys could write this script in about six months, it's that transparent!

Bush's
Bush's latest:
http://edition.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/08/21/bush/index.html
In a Washington news conference, the president tied Iraq to the war in Lebanon and Iran's nuclear ambitions as instances where the United States and the world must make strong stands in the global struggle against terrorism.
And he said the war must be fought in Washington, too, criticizing a federal judge's ruling last week to stop the National Security Agency's domestic eavesdropping program, which was instituted after the 9/11 attacks.
"Those who heralded the decision not to give law enforcement the tools necessary to protect the American people just simply don't see the world the way we do," Bush said.

Judge drops Padilla terror charge
After all this time holding him as an "enemy combatant" you would think they could get SOME charge to stick.
Maybe he was framed?
