It breaks our hearts just as much as yours to know that our soldiers are fighting, dying and killing innocents over there for a lie. Part of the reason we do what we do is to try and bring them home.

BTW Jon, not only has the anti-war movement ignored 9/11 truth completely, the've been very lame on pushing for an end to the war in general too! There were very few demonstrations, peace marches, etc., and really zero lately! (The only thing I've heard from Cindy Sheehan all summer is that she is going to have a peace rally on 9/11 and truthers are not welcome.)
Also, what ever happened with the "Impeach Bush" movements? I Don't hear anything from them anymore either! Just look what Clinton was impeached over (by one house)compaired to what Bush has done.

Now, knowing that neither would be able to take place without 9/11, don't you think it rather "convenient" that it happened? In the time frame they specified?

Impeach Bush
Regarding the Impeach Bush people, they are still very active in my neck of the woods. They have weekly "flash mob" demonstrations in my city and are lobbying the City Council to pass an impeachment resolution. This weekend is supposed to be a big IMPEACH visibility thing. I don't think impeaching Bush in and of itself is going to fix things (at the very least, Cheney needs to be part of the deal) but I respect their efforts and determination.

This has been one of my main issues too. The anti-war movement has failed. The Anti-war movement by it self isn't going to bring the troops home. This isn't Vietnam (and we can even question if those protests worked...but I don't want to get into that). This is the Bush Administration.
Like they give a shit about what the people think. Hell, they think we're fascist now!
Exposing the day-by-day lies hasn't worked. And even if the troops do come back tomorrow, they'll just be sent back into war with Iran...
