A wag once famously said that Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot was a play where nothing happened . . . twice. The two former co-chairmen of the 9-11 commission report, Thomas Kean and Lee Hamilton, have released a new book, “Without Precedent: The Inside Story of the 9-11 Commission.” This book goes Beckett one better – it is the third act of veneer over substance, self-aggrandizement over serious analysis, and cliché over perspicacity. It is another calculated attempt by the former commissioners to place themselves in the media spotlight, and to overcome the humiliation of their widely criticized and mostly debunked report. It is a vapid and substanceless attempt to claim moral high ground and present the co-chairmen as heroes of honesty. It would be a farce, except that it has no story line, save the aggrandizement of the authors. At least they are consistent in doing nothing and proclaiming that to be a sign of their devotion to the country and the government. Beckett once said that “habit is the ballast that chains the dog to its vomit,” and by this measure the chain restraining Kean and Hamilton is a short one indeed...

OK, Drudge is obviously a conservative lackey, but can you imagine if he broke the 9-11 story wide open? His reputation as a "Internet journalist" would be sealed. The only reason I can think of he isn't pursuing this story is that he:
1. Is in somebody's pocket.
2. He knows how deep the rabbit hole goes, and doesn't want his life threatend.
3. He's slow on the uptake, and hasn't woken up to the truth yet.

My schedule does not revolve around G&B or any other show. Neither does my dialup connection allow for most streaming content (quality of life choice to live in the boonies).
Too many still only provide content as high bit-rate streaming format only, which is infuriating to those of us who still don't have broadband access. Fortunately, broadband for me is coming soon. Others may never see it.
Most all of the interviews and videos are timely content and, with the volume of material increasing daily, waiting for a CD by snail mail or some such is silliness. Why, just because I am unable to listen to streaming content, should I have to buy that which those with broadband access can have for free? Donate to G&B and others of your own free will.

G&B has an archives section. The archives link to an .m3u file which is a plain text file containing the URL for the actual MP3.
Find the show you want in the achives.
Right click on the "Play Stream" button/link and choose "save as" and save the m3u file to your prefered folder or desktop.
Open the m3u file with any text editor or viewer and copy the URL for the actual .MP3 to the clipboard.
Paste the URL into your download manager and download the sucker, along with any other large files you NEED for personal use, while you sleep. Listen while having you morning cup o' joe, put it on yer mp3pod, whatever.
Downloading for personal use is one thing. Choosing to upload their content to somewhere else without the permission of G&B is another matter.

Just watched that dutch program too. It was approached with a fair attitude at least -- but, the 3 examples they gave were all to do with physical evidence (no plane at Pentagon, WTC bombs, and no plane debris at Shanksville, PA), and while I'm on board with those contentions, there are SO many important issues that should have at least been mentioned (NORAD, put options, war games, etc.). This shows how Mike Ruppert and John Albanese are correct not to concentrate on physical evidence since there can always be 'experts' to argue and refute science.
And, if the show was going to concentrate on physical evidence, why not WTC7 as the centerpiece?
I thought it was interesting how the mainstream journalist (publisher or owner of a newspaper, I believe) was defending his position, and that of the western media, including the NY Times -- complete blind faith really. Well, it's his profession, but is he really that naive in today's media world?

Are there any computer buffs out there who can tell me how to get around being banned on Crooks and Liars? Technologically speaking, how is it that they are able to do that? What exactly is used as the identifier? Is there a way to change it?

You could try this...
Assuming that C&L's bannishment mechanism is based on IP addresses, you could try to change yours. If you have DSL or a cable modem and go through a router hooked up to your modem, you may be able to get a new IP address from your ISP by changing the MAC address of your router. Most seem to offer that option in their configuration. I noticed that when I replaced our router a while back (which of course had a new MAC address) our IP address changed.
Your mileage may vary for a number of reasons, such as if C&L bans IP *ranges* instead of individual addresses, the method I've suggested won't get you a new IP address from your ISP, C&L or Haloscan have any cookies set in your browser, or if you get banned again and have to repeat the process every time you post.
And like Chris said, it may not be worth it, but that's up to you. Good luck!

Very, very bad
I agree that this story will allow the official storytellers to juxtapose holocaust denial and 9/11 Truth, just like they have in the past. Then again, this story may not receive such widespread coverage, giving it a chance to blow over quickly. Let's hope that's the case here.
At the same time, though, we have Bob Bowman winning the Democratic primary in FLA's 15th. This is unprecedented. Everyone else who's run for office, citing 9/11 Truth, has failed miserably. I don't know what his chances are against the Republican incumbent who's been in office since '94, but just the fact that he won the primary is simply astounding! So, these two stories may very well end up balancing each other out at the end of the day. Think I should choose a more positive subject title? Nah... ;)

The goal has to be getting these people away from their slick evasion tactics when it comes to 9/11 truth, like dismissing it all as "conspiracy theories" (= "politically incorrect" in D.C.) and instead challenge them in open discussion. Wish candidates include John McCain (wrote prologue to the PM debunking book, to put the theories 'to rest', says they 'have to be addressed', endorsed the forming of the 9/11 commission), Newt Gingrich (claims to be an independent thinker), John Kerry (said the terrorist threat was exaggerated), Michael Moore...

Let's not forget, although getting a victory and winning a seat in the house would be insanely good for us, it's not neccessary. Having these guys run in MAJOR elections is in itself a gigantic victory for the truth movement!!!!
9/11 Truth will be front and center in these elections. Of course Bowman will be painted as a conspiracy nut and will probably lose, but it's fantastic exposure!
