Can America be saved?

A simple question that requires honest introspection.
Can America, as it currently stands, be saved?
Or does the corruption just run too deep at this point to be weeded out?

personally, i think its too
personally, i think its too late but im not gonna stop fighting despite how cynical i am.
i think the tougher question
i think the tougher question is at what point do you put your personal needs above that of the country? that is the one that gets me..
can America be saved? is it too late? yes, it is. and on many many fronts asside from just 9/11. fronts like tv addiction, materialism, idolizing the worst in society.. our society has gone to shit, and yes it is too late to change any of that.. its something that will take generations to change back..
as for saving America, whose to say we need saving? perhaps it is the rest of the world that needs saving from what we are allowing and facilitating here at home?
Precise your question
If you mean "The American way of life as D. Cheney views it" I definetly think I cannot be saved because it is not sustainable and it inevitably leads to imperalism, racism and finaly, genocide and then, crash...
So what are the values you want to save from America ?
If...
I didn't think we could "save" America, I wouldn't be here. For some STUPID reason, I believe that if the truth of 9/11 came out, everyone would act as they did on the day of, and the days after...
Can you imagine what we could do as a country if we were all together as we were in those days?
Maybe I'm wrong.

All I can say. I could not live with myself if I did not try to save her. I've been sleeping way too long. Apathy is a freedom killer.
If enough people wake up and react. It can be saved. I pray that happens before it is to late.
The state we are in is not by accident. Believe me, its not the US we are talking about. It is the world our children are going to have to live in. I am glad to be childless.
