Condi's Killer Pen

On September 24th, the NYPost reported that it was Condoleezza Rice's office that "gave final approval to the infamous Environmental Protection Agency press releases days after 9/11 claiming the air around Ground Zero was "safe to breathe."

That story has since been removed from the NYPost's servers.

The only other news agency to cover this story was NY1 News.

Isn't that "newsworthy" enough for our media? It is WELL KNOWN that there are sick and dying individuals from the toxins of Ground Zero. Why then doesn't our media think Condi's involvement warrants attention?

Is it not juicy enough for you media? Is it because we're in an election cycle, and news like this would be bad for the Republican party?

Well guess what. It gets even juicier.

Not only did Condi's office give final approval for the press release that has affected 1000's of New Yorkers, "two devastating memos, written by the U.S. and local governments, show they knew. They knew the toxic soup created at Ground Zero was a deadly health hazard. Yet they sent workers into the pit and people back into their homes."

What do you say to that media? U.S. and local Governments knowingly sent New Yorkers to their death.

Is that "newsworthy" enough for you?

Murder: Second Degree

Source: criminal.findlaw.com

Second-degree murder is ordinarily defined as 1) an intentional killing that is not premeditated or planned, nor committed in a reasonable "heat of passion" or 2) a killing caused by dangerous conduct and the offender's obvious lack of concern for human life. Second-degree murder may best be viewed as the middle ground between first-degree murder and voluntary manslaughter.

For example, Dan comes home to find his wife in bed with Victor. At a stoplight the next day, Dan sees Victor riding in the passenger seat of a nearby car. Dan pulls out a gun and fires three shots into the car, missing Victor but killing the driver of the car.

"Am I wrong?"

Nope.

You know where this leads. After rescue efforts were over, why were they in such a hurry to sanitize the crime scene? I can't believe they didn't see this coming -- they had to have known what the consequences of exposing all these people would be and what an enormous liability they were exposing themselves to.

YES...

> After rescue efforts were over, why were they in such a hurry to sanitize the crime scene?

It wasn't a CRIME SCENE, you twit. What part of WAR do you NOT understand?

Geez, talk about not letting reality get in the way of a good conspiracy....

What part of "heroes are dying" do you not understand?

So let's say it wasn't a crime scene; it was a battlefield. The point of sending "soldiers" into "battle" without protective gear, so they could get sick and die, was ... WHAT? WHAT WAS THE POINT OF THAT? What was the strategic advantage of that? Is it going to make money for KBR/Halliburton somehow?

I have NO tolerance for trolls on a thread like this.

You're...

An idiot.

Tin Foil Hat Brigade Claim Gound Zero is Battlefeild?

Are you serious. This is mass murder in the first degree. Keep up with the times, dude. The FBI has publicly stated they have no evidence that Bin Laden is responsible for 911. Furthermore Congress has not declared war on anyone. So explain to us your resource for thinking that ground zero is a battlefeild. I'm sure plenty of you weird Bush supporters have all sorts of fantasies, like the fact that most of you still believe Iraq has WMD's and also is connected to 911, regardless that Bush himself has stated the contrary. Please, these are serious matters, keep your hard-on fantasies for Bush out of the coming investigation into the mass murder of 3000 US citizens.

How about blaming those responsible for the damage...

...the TERRORISTS - instead of the people trying to clean it up?

You people are truly PATHETIC. You're so CONSUMED with your own PARANOID SCHIZOPHRENIA that you can't blame the guys who actually flew the airplanes into the buildings. Instead, you have to concoct some wild-ass theories, because in your sick little minds, it MUST be a DELIBERATE PLOT by GEORGE BUSH. What a bunch of fucking fruitloops!

We are far, far beyond a caveman & his 19 flunkies

We are far, far beyond caveman Osama & his 19 flunkies defeating NORAD/Air Force with boxcutters & letting hostile airliners flying around the U.S.A. for an hour and-a-half with no military response.

The terrorists are Bush/Cheney/Rummy/Rove/Rice, et al...

The terrorists are Bush/Cheney/Rummy/Rove/Rice, et al...Their "New Pearl Harbor" was a classic false-flag attack!

Oh, really?

> The terrorists are Bush/Cheney/Rummy/Rove/Rice, et al...Their "New Pearl Harbor" was a classic false-flag attack!

Remember when you ran away
And I got on my knees
And begged you not to leave
Because I'd go berserk

Well you left me anyhow
And then the days got worse and worse
And now you see I've gone
Completely out of my mind

And they're coming to take me away ha-haaa
They're coming to take me away ho ho hee hee ha haaa
To the funny farm
Where life is beautiful all the time
And I'll be happy to see those nice young men
In their clean white coats
And they're coming to take me away ha haaa

You thought it was a joke
And so you laughed
You laughed when I said
That losing you would make me flip my lid

Right? You know you laughed
I heard you laugh. You laughed
You laughed and laughed and then you left
But now you know I'm utterly mad

And they're coming to take me away ha haaa
They're coming to take me away ho ho hee hee ha haaa
To the happy home with trees and flowers and chirping birds
And basket weavers who sit and smile and twiddle their thumbs and toes
And they're coming to take me away ha haaa

I cooked your food
I cleaned your house
And this is how you pay me back
For all my kind unselfish, loving deeds
Ha! Well you just wait
They'll find you yet and when they do
They'll put you in the A.S.P.C.A.
You mangy mutt

And they're coming to take me away ha haaa
They're coming to take me away ha haaa ho ho hee hee
To the funny farm where life is beautiful all the time
And I'll be happy to see those nice young men
In their clean white coats

And they're coming to take me away

And basket weavers who sit and smile and twiddle their thumbs and toes
And they're coming to take me away ha haaa!

even if you accept the

even if you accept the official story, which you have to purposely decieve yourself to do, that has absolutely nothing to do with this issue. They knew those buildings were asbestos bombs and they knew the air was toxic in new york after the implosions. They consciously directed people to behave normally and not wear protective masks you can buy at any hardware store. That will give people cancer for years to come, and it could have been easily avoided. You can't blame al quaeda for every stupid criminal move that was made on 9/11. Al quaeda is the endless dog who ate the bush administrations homework. We must not let these people destroy the republic any further because al auaeda ate their homework.

I'll go you one further. I

I'll go you one further. I believe that it was an added and crucial bonus for the perpetrators to have Ground Zero rescue workers and close witnesses pass off one by one. I can imagine that their hubrus would allow them to do this in thinking that it would take years for any scent of truth to ever come out and if it did, they would ensure that it would never truly reach the masses. By having those on the scene drop like flies over the years they would essentially ensure that eyewitness testimony of the nature of destruction, severed angular beams, molten steel, etc, would go along with them. I see it as an essential part of the plan to protect the op's longevity and success.

first responders

Agreed. The first responders/workers are meant to die. That is why their testimony now is so important.

You're...

An idiot.

Tin Foil Hat Brigade to Obstruct Investigation of Mass Murder

First off, I do not have a theory about who committed 911. However, I do agree with former head of the FBI Louis Freeh and some members of the Official 911 Commission, that is that the 911 Commission Report is filled with falacies, inaccuracies, falls far short of being a legitimate investigation into the mass murder of 3000 US citizens. I do not have a theory, unlike you and your very outlandish 19 angry sheepherders with box cutters theory. No, I have a lot of questions which demand answers, which will be answered with an investigation. You wouldn't want to obstruct such historical and patriotic investigation, would you? I'm interested in finding the real murderers, no matter who they are.

Did I Just Hear a Wall Crack?!?

Sept. 11 Panel Wasn’t Told of Meeting, Members Say
By PHILIP SHENON
Published: October 2, 2006 NYTimes

WASHINGTON, Oct. 1 — Members of the Sept. 11 commission said Sunday they were alarmed that they were told nothing about a July 2001 White House meeting at which George J. Tenet , then director of central intelligence, is reported to have warned Condoleezza Rice , then national security adviser, about an imminent attack by Al Qaeda and failed to persuade her to take action.

Details of the meeting on July 10, 2001, two months before the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, were first reported last week in a new book by Bob Woodward. The White House disputes his account.

The final report from the Sept. 11 commission made no mention of the meeting, nor did it suggest that there had been such an encounter between Mr. Tenet and Ms. Rice, now secretary of state.

Since the release of the book, “State of Denial,” the White House and Ms. Rice have disputed major elements of Mr. Woodward’s account. Ms. Rice has said through spokesmen that there had been no such exchange in a private meeting with Mr. Tenet and that he had expressed none of the frustration attributed to him in Mr. Woodward’s book.

“It really didn’t match Secretary Rice’s recollection of the meeting at all,” said Dan Bartlett, counselor to President Bush, in an interview on “Face the Nation” on CBS. “It kind of left us scratching our heads because we don’t believe that’s an accurate account.”

Passages of the book suggest that Mr. Tenet was a major source for Mr. Woodward. The former intelligence director has refused to comment on the book since its release.

There has also been no comment on the book from J. Cofer Black, who was Mr. Tenet’s counterterrorism chief, and who, the book says, attended the July 10 meeting and left it frustrated by Ms. Rice’s “brush-off” of the warnings.

Mr. Black is quoted as saying, “The only thing we didn’t do was pull the trigger to the gun we were holding to her head.” He did not return calls left at Blackwater, the security firm he joined last year.

The book says Mr. Tenet hurriedly organized the meeting, calling ahead from his car as it traveled to the White House, because he wanted to “shake Rice” into persuading the president to respond to dire intelligence warnings about a possible terrorist strike.

Mr. Woodward writes that Mr. Tenet left the meeting frustrated because “they were not getting through to Rice.”

The disclosures took members of the bipartisan Sept. 11 commission by surprise last week. Some questioned whether information about the July 10 meeting was intentionally withheld from the panel, the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States.

In interviews Saturday and Sunday, commission members said they were never told about the meeting despite hours of public and private questioning with Ms. Rice, Mr. Tenet and Mr. Black, much of it focused specifically on how the White House dealt with terrorist threats in the summer of 2001.

“None of this was shared with us in hours of private interviews, including interviews under oath, nor do we have any paper on this,” said Timothy J. Roemer, a Democratic member of the commission and a former congressman from Indiana. “I’m deeply disturbed by this. I’m furious.”

Another Democratic commissioner, the former Watergate prosecutor Richard Ben-Veniste, said the staff of the Sept. 11 commission was polled in recent days on the disclosures in Mr. Woodward’s book and agreed that the meeting “was never mentioned to us.”

“This is certainly something we would have wanted to know about,” he said, referring to the meeting. “We asked broad questions which should have elicited this information.”

He said he had attended the commission’s private interviews with both Mr. Tenet and Ms. Rice and had pressed “very hard for them to provide us with everything they had regarding conversations with the executive branch” about terrorist threats before Sept. 11.

Philip D. Zelikow, the executive director of the Sept. 11 commission and now counselor to the State Department, agreed that no witness before the commission had drawn attention to a July 10 meeting at the White House or described the sort of encounter portrayed in Mr. Woodward’s book.

Mr. Zelikow said it was “entirely plausible” that a meeting occurred on July 10, during a period that summer in which intelligence agencies were being flooded with warnings of a terrorist attack against the United States or its allies.

But he said the commissioners and their staff had heard nothing in their private interviews with Mr. Tenet and Mr. Black to suggest that they made such a dire presentation to Ms. Rice or that she had rebuffed them.

“If we had heard something that drew our attention to this meeting, it would have been a huge thing,” Mr. Zelikow said. “Repeatedly, Tenet and Black said they could not remember what had transpired in some of those meetings.”

Democratic lawmakers have seized on Mr. Woodward’s book in arguing that the Bush administration bungled the war in Iraq and paid too little attention to terrorism threats in the months before Sept. 11.

Senator Joseph R. Biden Jr. of Delaware, the senior Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said on CBS that there had been “rumors” of such an encounter between Mr. Tenet and Ms. Rice in the summer of 2001.

Mr. Woodward’s book, he said, raised the question of “why didn’t Condi Rice and George Tenet tell the 9/11 commission about that? They were obliged to do that, and they didn’t.”

How Many Children Returned To School?

I'm one of those guys that worked Ground Zero. Some say we should have known better. For thoses, let me ask you something. Do you know how many schools in lower Manhattan reopened based on the EPA Whitman's press release September 18th, 2001, that stated that she wanted to reassure New Yorkers the air was safe? Does that touch your conscience that thousands of children were subjected to dangerous levels of dozens on toxins and may one day suffer deathly illnesses because of those lies? It appears you don't give a dam about the almost 70,000 first responders and construction workers who were exposed or the fact that 70% are now suffered respiratory illnesses.

For all those the stand by the Official Lie of 9/11, maybe you should start to look at the facts and evidence.

U.S. District Judge Deborah A. Batts

“No reasonable person would have thought that telling thousands of people that it was safe to return to lower Manhat tan, while knowing that such return could pose long-term health risks and other dire consequences, was conduct sanctioned by our laws,” Judge Batts said. She found Whitman’s actions “conscience-shocking” because the EPA chief knew the twin towers’ collapse had generated tons of airborne toxic materials.

When our own government feels it's more important to open Wall Street then the lives of millions of New Yorkers and their children, it's time they are held accountable for their acts of treason and murder. The media are as complicit to these crimes same as those that have carried out the crimes. If the media's children started coming down with respiratory illnesses it would be on the front page of every newspaper in this Nation. I'm outraged and disgusted beyond words, so the next bastard who says we should have "KNOWN BETTER," I wish I could meet you face to face! If our government would put millions in harms way, even children, what's makes you believe 9/11 wasn't an INSIDE JOB?

Speak Of The Devil...

Students At Ground Zero Could Feel 9/11 Effects

Source: wcbstv.com

10/2/2006

(CBS/AP) NEW YORK Several Manhattan Democrats are urging the federal government to pay for health insurance for students who attended school in Lower Manhattan after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Representative Jerrold Nadler, Borough President Scott Stringer and Councilman Alan Gerson held a news conference Sunday. They also called on the government to pay for research and medical screenings for the students.

Amit Friedlander, a 2002 graduate of Stuyvesant High School joined them at the conference. He recently received a diagnosis of Hodgkins lymphoma and suspects toxic dust from Ground Zero was a cause.

Hey missy-we-had-no-warning, It's Either Jail Time or Tyranny

Sorry folks, there's no going around it. Neglegence on this scale from the Secretary of State, an individual who is to be selected on holding and maintaing the premium level of intellect, evaluating expertise, refined sway, and all the best qualities one of us could ever muster, well, it's repulsive. She holds one of our Nation's most honored and noble poisitions in our Government. Her wrecklessness with thousands of lives during the immediate days after 911 is a century mark of the worst carelessness we could ever expect. Imagine you were her making the call, "yeah, send them back to work, and tell Rudy to tell all of them to go shopping." She encouraged the population to return as soon as possible to the area; millions exposed to toxic and pulverized carcinigous dust and debris. I was at ground zero on 911 and 912, and the days and days following the air reeked a unique smell. I believe it was reffred to as the Trade Center smell or something similiar. We've already been seeing the wave of rescue workers suffering, and some dying, and more to come, many more to come. And it's our Secretary State, Condi Rice, who holds the weight. Anything short of jail time will not be acceptable within a rational and widly grasped concept of a democracy. This is BLATANT. If Condi gets off the manslaughter charges, there is not a person who can say with a straight face we are living in a democracy. If she slides, this is not America anymore.

RICE OK'D CLAIM OF 'SAFE AIR' AFTER 9/11
By SUSAN EDELMAN, HEATHER GILMORE and BRAD HAMILTON
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Condoleezza Rice's office gave final approval to the infamous Environmental Protection Agency press releases days after 9/11 claiming the air around Ground Zero was "safe to breathe," internal documents show.

Now Secretary of State, Rice was then head of the National Security Council - "the final decision maker" on EPA statements about lower Manhattan air quality, the documents say.

Scientists and lawmakers have since deemed the air rife with toxins.

Early tests known to the EPA at the time had already found high asbestos levels, the notes say. But those results were omitted from the press releases because of "competing priorities" such as national security and "opening Wall Street," according to a report by the EPA's inspector general.

The chief of staff for then-EPA head Christie Todd Whitman, Eileen McGinnis, told the inspector general of heated discussions, including "screaming telephone calls," about what to put in the press releases.

The notes come from a 2003 probe into public assurances made on Sept. 16, five days after the 9/11 attacks. They tell how a White House staffer "worked with Dr. Condoleezza Rice's press secretary" on reviewing the press releases for weeks.

Whitman said through a spokeswoman Friday that she never discussed her press releases directly with Rice. She also defended her collaboration with the White House.

Now-retired Inspector General Nikki Tinsley told The Post her auditors tried to question the head of President Bush's Environmental Quality Council, but "he would not talk to us."

Calls and e-mails to Rice were not returned.

My Dream of Condoleezza

The other night I had a strange dream of Condi. I shook her hand, and it fell off of her wrist, like when you pull the tail off of a lizard and it squirms away.

I'm disappointed in what women have become. They clearly are no better than men, on their level. Any woman high up involved in the evil nature of politics and the nature of the world we live in is surely corrupted herself. There's no escaping it for these women. They're all as guilty as hell of something. They all have their hands in the cookie jar.

Condi is sleeze and she should have stuck with playing classical piano and teaching at Stanford instead of getting into evil corrupt politics. She cares more about how her hair looks in photos then she does about basic things like saving innocent people's lives.

"I'm disappointed in what women have become."

"They clearly are no better than men, on their level."

Uhm. That does imply you believed in female superiority before, doesn't it? DISCRIMINATION! :o)

Personally, I believe both sexes have specific strengths and weaknesses, complementing each other for optimal performance.

Your dream would have been even better had you shook Condi's head.

"I'm disappointed in what women have become."

Ummm -- in what way is Condoleezza any more representative of women in general than the XY members of the Cheney cabal are of men?

The pedestal and the gutter both suck.

"Your dream would have been even better had you shook Condi's head."

Bwahahaha.

I just remembered

I heard her being referred to as "Condolizard", kinda fitting here.

Yes, where IS the coverage?

Answer: Karl Rove + MSM

Ground Zero and the surrounding area was covered, coated with finely particulated dust. Does the EPA expect us to believe they tested this stuff, containing asbestos and pulverzied computer components, and God knows what else, and determined it was safe for people to return THREE days after the attack?!

Heckuva job, Condi!

mandrake

I can only hope

the family members of the sick and terminally ill are getting good lawyers. They actually need a legal fund of some sort because they will be tempted or basically forced to settle out of financial necessity which would make the evidence related to Ground Zero related deaths or illnesses possibly inadmissible.

Lol to imply that JFK was

Lol to imply that JFK was killed by lone gunman Oswald is hilarious

"In times of universal deceit, telling the truth will be a revolutionary act." - George Orwell

First and formost, F U. Now

First and formost, F U. Now that that is out of the way I'd like to address the following: "Psychologists suggest that many people simply can't believe that major events, events that change the course of history, can be caused by a single person or a small group of largely powerless people. So a lone gunman couldn't possibly assassinate the U.S. president, and a ragtag bunch of cave-dwelling Islamists couldn't possibly concoct a plan that would bring America to its knees."

I have a Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology and I have a few publications under my belt so I think I have the right to address this.

1) You need to change your sentence to state that "..."some" psychologists suggest that many.." because you are in effect stating that all Psychologists concur with your statement which is incorrect.

2) I would like to see examples where a single individual or a small group of powerless people have changed the events of history. You might cite someone like Hitler or Stalin; however, they had numbers behind them. They would have achieved nothing without the harnessed power of the masses behind them. The same goes for Ghandi. He wouldn't have achieved what he achieved with out the support of his followers. I would also like to point out that the "small group of largely powerless people.." which avers to Bin Laden et al. is an inaccurate statement. In what way was he powerless? He had a shitload of CIA funding to help with booting the Soviets out of afghanistan...how were he and his follower's powerless???

3) You are appealling to authority and using propaganda by representing only one interpretation of human behavior. You're an idiot to say the least and I'd wager you couldn't hold your own in a logical debate. Human behavior is quite complex but it is not so complex that you can just chalk up the Truth movements believes to a psychological defense mechanism. Especially considering you are not addressing the issues that the Truth movement brings up. Instead you attack their ability to cope with reality.

4) The real issue is the cognitive dissonance suffered by the masses who hear tidbits about the quesitons the Truthers have and it brings into question their whole existence and everything they have known and loved about this country.

Why don't you go ask some Psychologists what their take is on that side of the issue and get back to us on it you propagandist scumbag?

I'm still waiting for the lynchings of the god damned traitors in our country. Their day of justice will come no matter how many propagandists they throw at the American public. Your days are numbered traitors!!
