9/11, Our Satyagraha (Message to the Anti-war Movement)
I am Sam Lwin, an ex-Marine, a conscientious objector and an anti-war activist from the first Gulf war. I would like to say a few words about the connection between 9/11 and war.
In the fall of 1990, President George Herbert Walker Bush mobilized troops for the first Gulf War. I was a Marine reservist and a senior at the New School. Knowing that it was an oil war and finding out the various deceptions used by our government to gain support of the masses at anti-war rallies, I, as a conscientious Marine, refused to go. So did twenty-five other Marines, eight of them from here in New York City. We were all court-martialed and did time in the brig at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina.
Many people supported us. They sent us letters and books to read and our prison sentences were shortened, in some cases by two years, due to public pressure through anti-war groups like Hands Off! and War Resisters League. During that time, one of the Marine resisters mentioned to me the name of Smedley Butler.
Smedley Butler was a Marine general who twice won the Congressional Medal of Honor. In 1933, he published a booklet called “War Is a Racket.” I would like to read a few sentences from it. "War is just a racket. A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of people. Only a small inside group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few at the expense of the masses."
And he continued, “I spent 33 years and 4 months in active service as a member of our country's most agile military force--the Marine Corps. I served in all commissioned ranks from second lieutenant to Major General. And during that period I spent most of my time being a high-class muscle man for Big Business, for Wall Street and for the bankers. In short, I was a racketeer for capitalism.”
The whole ordeal in the first Gulf war made me realize that things are not always what they seem to be. Yet, a decade later, on the morning of September 11th immediately after the towers fell, even though I intuited that the Bush administration was behind the attacks, I chose to believe the official story, because I did not dare to believe otherwise.
It wasn’t until the Bush administration started incessantly insisting that Iraq had WMDs, that I realized that something was not right. In early 2002, I began to search for answers on the Internet, never thinking that I would spend five to six hours daily for the next four years.
So now we know. We know that, just like war, 9/11 is a racket, a military false flag psy-op, a highly deceptive series of events conducted to gain the support of the population for wars in the Middle East. Let me read General Smedley Butler’s definition again:
“A racket is best described as something that is not what it seems to the majority of people. Only a small inside group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few at the expense of the masses.”
War is a racket. 9/11 is a racket.
It saddens and angers me that so many people in the antiwar movement refuse to examine the evidence of 9/11. We should ask them to do at least one thing. Watch the movie we just saw, 911mysteries. And if after watching it, they still want to continue believing the official BS, so be it. But for people to say that they want peace and at the same time adamantly deny the direct connection between 9/11 and the current wars is irresponsible. Many anti-war people unquestioningly accept the official version, without even looking at the overwhelming evidence which the 9/11 Truth movement has laboriously collected over the years.
Three weeks ago we all went down to Ground Zero to mark the fifth anniversary of the so-called terrorist attacks. That memorable day--Sept 11, 2006--was also the 100th anniversary of Gandhi’s first act of nonviolent civil disobedience, a movement he called “satyagraha.” In Sanscrit, satya means “truth”, agraha translates to “effort or endeavor.” Combined, Satyagraha means “to work for truth, in pursuit of truth.”
I propose that our brothers and sisters in the anti-war movement, whom I thank a great deal from my experience in the first Gulf war, join with us in the 9/11 Truth movement, to courageously pursue the truth with us--our Satyagraha--to bring into reality a truly independent investigation into the events of 9/11. And through our collective efforts, we can began to dismantle the authority of this traitorous, treasonous, and illegitimate administration in the current wars and their nefarious plans for wider wars in the Middle East and elsewhere. Only when the truth of 9/11 comes into light, on a national and international arena, will we be able to stop their immoral, unethical, and unconscionable rackets.

Why "anti-war" groups hesitate on understanding what you've succinctly posted here... I do not know.

what resonates?
Many anti-war groups feel that alternative theories of the truth about 911 will not resonate with the masses. For them, it's a matter of what will convince the masses that the Bush administration must be impeached.
The question boils down to.... what will it take to convince more people to care about 911 truth.
When every person in America has seen the video of WTC7....
.....then we will know what has more resonance with our citizenry....to this day, so few of Americans are aware that a 3rd building at WTC exploded that day....a building that wasn't hit by an airplane....
You show people that video---and you all know the one I mean---and watch their face melt....
When that image becomes an collective American image, with what it implies....what do you think will be more effective in charging the Bush/Cheney cabal and their supporters with treason, 9/11 Truth or their "misleading" about Iraqi WMDs?

I realized criminalization of what should be treated as a social illness(when individuals go overboard and abuse rather than casually consume) was more or less an attack on the counter-culture which is diametrically opposed to the very agendas our elites push. The truth movement has not focused it's energy on a few undisputable facts. Some individuals like Fetzer have done a good job on focusing on these facts. The Loose Change crew has done the movement a tremendous service by attracting attention to certain questions; however, I think it would be good for them to start focusing their energies on the following when they have appearances in the media. The critical element in gaining support is to be able to convey a set of simple, indisputable facts. With these "talking points" the movement can hammer home the message of inside job and push for a new investigation. I believe the major talking points should include the following:
-On 9/10/01 Rumsfeld testified that 2.3 Trillion dollars were unaccounted for. The following day the Pentagon was attacked in the section that housed many accountants who could research this issue. I think steering clear of Boeing-No Boeing would be wise. It's important to know what happened on that day but to recruit more people keep it simple. Money was missing and those who could track it down were killed. People can get that message loud and clear and we can avoid the debate over what hit it. What hit it could be focused on later once we get a substantial portion of the USA solidly behind a truely independent investigation.
-The footage of WTC7 coming down, Larry Silverstein's comment on pulling it, Larry Silverstein's insurance winnings.
-The 84 or so cameras which should have captured the object hitting the Pentagon. We need that evidence and why the hell can't the public see it? We paid for the Pentagon and all of it's toys. There is absolutely no reason why they can't release the videos.
-The Cheney stand down order.
-The freefall speed of the towers being pulverized.
-Most importantly, the 1st responders. The 1st responders are the strongest talking point we have and it has been under utilized. Everyone has emotions, which is why 9/11 was so effective. No we need to turn those emotions against the bastards who perpetrated these acts. Our first responders are the heroes of 9/11. Our heroes are dying because of the crap they inhailed. That is going to resonate more with Americans than any of the other bullets I listed above. We need to get more interviews with the first responders. We MUST evoke emotions in the American people. These emotions need to focus on the plight of the first responders and why were they told it was okay to go to work without proper breathing apparatuses. Emotions are the most powerful thing we can use. Look at how our politicians have been manipulating the citizens emotions for evil. Well we need to tap into the emotions of the people for good. I hope people that get media time or exposure read this.
To summarize:
We must start focusing more on the first responders. They are our heroes, they are dying because of our scumbag politicians lying to them about air quality. This is an indisputable fact which includes the emotional attachment to our heroes. Once we get the masses behind the plight of our heroes we can move on to the more abstract questions(what the hell happened to the passengers in the planes-if there even were any?).
Emotions are powerful and our movement is overlooking how to best present our evidence to evoke emotions which can be utilized for the greater good of this country.

It's ironic this is partially connected to the middle eastern conflict with middle easterners. Native Israeli's and Palestinian's whom both are middle eastern are very closely related. Israel has an over abundance of European Jews in their ancestry diluting the original gene line but will they ADMIT or ACCEPT TRUTH? if you see any of the Israeli soldiors they look like Palistinian's, kinda like Hispanic's and Latino's.

The anti-war movement is focused on the after effects of 9/11. The actual event hasn't been a major focus because of the MSM. By controlling the perception of the US citizens through the MSM many people didn't think to question the official story. I myself was focused on the after effects for some time. I didn't agree with Afghanistan because the administration provided no evidence. However, I completely didn't think to question 9/11. I did say to my girlfriend at the time, that I thought the buildings looked like a controlled demolition but until I stumbled across some 9/11 truth sites looking for info on flight 93 I never thought that the buildings were an inside job. Most people believed the government because you should be able to. People who are refusing to look at the evidence for 9/11 are expressing cognitive dissonance. Any one with a good handle on history knows that most governments have committed atrocious acts. Those who don't know this face a seriously stressful experience when they are told something like that can and has occured. So to answer your question, I would say that they aren't controlled by the bush admin. They are just experiencing a seriously life jarring event when asked to look at the evidence. The best way to handle this is to try to empathize. You can't win them over by castigating them. We should empathize and patiently work to win them over.
Assaulting them is not going to win their favor. Kill them with kindness. We need them if we are going to work through this.

The activists in the anti-war movement has been around for a while now, they are leading organisations with a clear rational objective. To stop the criminal wars in the ME, wars that lack any moral justification.
They have sofar utterly failed their mission. Bushco has been able to get away with everything
You are talking about individual psychology and stages past long time ago, with opinion polls showing that 40-50% of the US population believes the official 911 story is fishy. The facts has been out there a long time now, and we are talking about professional people who should know better.
Knowing how the FBI and other agencies have worked in the 1900's, we can safely assume that they are trying to control the anti-war movement. Because a properly working anti-war movement would be a serious threat to Bushco and his goal to make wars in the ME to control the remaining oil resources.
The q here is how effective they have been? Are they steering away the movement from looking into the real serious questions? Looking at the record, it certainly seems to be the case.
Because if you really want to stop the wars, there is a very simple method, expose the 911 hoax. 911 is used by the Gov't as the justification for the bogus war on terror and the wars in the ME.
To kill them with kindness is the wrong method. We should accuse them for their failiures to stop the war.
Maybe it's time to make some enemies. We already have many friends as so many opinion polls has shown recently.
For what its worth...
at Thursday's World Can't Wait rally in downtown Los Angeles, there were numerous 9/11 truth activists in the crowd. Many were carrying banners, handing out flyers, etc. A member of the 9/11 truth movement here in Los Angeles spoke to the crowd assembled before the march. During the march we chanted "9/11 was an inside job". I can't speak for other WCW rallys, but truth movement here was quite visible.

(I thought it was paranoid thinking too, til I saw a congressional report on an Iraq resolution debate/vote count and saw who said what, and who voted how. The Democrats are not losers inherently, it's that more than half of them entered office apparently with the intent of playing liberals on tv and voting in line with the shrubbery, which, being PLANTS, seems entirely appropriate. Our country's future may depend on the Greens and Libertarians merging and being awfully careful to check the credentials of persons running for office...to make sure their actions are louder than their words before they even RUN for office.

I watched the DVD Beyond Teason last night for the 1st time.
This was the 1st I had heard that out of approx. 500,000
troops that went to Desert Storm. 260,000 are now on medical
disability.

Touch of Empathy Goes Along Way
When speaking to people new to 9/11 truth. I'd encourage everyone to have as much empathy as possible.
Remember your resistance. Think about what it was. That got you to cross the line. Share that experience with the person.
We are taught as children that authority is going to protect us. The government does not kill it's own citizens. Election fraud is not big enough problem to really effect the out come. We are asking people to accept concepts totally contrary to their upbringing.
You're asking them to accept nearly everything they know is a lie. It is deeply personal. This is a political issue. Whether we want to believe that or not. People use their emotions more than logic. When it comes to politics. Also, you are poking at their ego. After all, they are not that blind. Their world view is being threatened.
Try to make the human to human experience about the subject. You can't use a logical argument on most people.
You have to get them to empathize with you.
War is more the racket. IT'S A TRILLION DOLLAR PAY DAY TO THE SKULL & BONERS!
How many people would you kill? If you knew you could get a way with it. For Trillion dollars!

Calm Urgency is required. We can end world hunger, cure AIDs, Cancer .... Get rid of fossils fuels.
