A Challenge To The Media
Dear Media,
Within the last few months, you've given a lot of attention to the 9/11 Truth Movement. In rare circumstances, we've even gotten a "fair shake."
However, your guests have consisted of Dylan Avery, Corey Rowe, Jason Bermas, James Fetzer, Kevin Barrett, Dave Von Kleist, Charlie Sheen, Alex Jones, Dr. Robert Bowman, Michael Berger, Paul Thompson and Dr. David Ray Griffin.
We don't know if you're aware or not (you haven't reported on it), but the original members of the 9/11 Truth Movement have been busy as of late.
On August 4th, 2006, 9/11 family members Lorie Van Auken, Patty Casazza, Mindy Kleinberg, and Monica Gabrielle released a statement that questioned the "entire veracity" of the 9/11 Commission's report.
On September 5th, 2006, a documentary endorsed by the families that fought for the creation of the 9/11 Commission was released entitled, "9/11: Press For Truth."
On September 11th, 2006, at the National Press Club in Washington D.C., family members Donna Marsh O'Connor, Michelle Little, and Christina Kminek asked for, "a new investigation into the events of September 11th, and this time, a truly bipartisan, global, with families invested from the beginning, middle, and throughout the end."
On October 14th, 2006, Monica Gabrielle, Lorie Van Auken, Mindy Kleinberg, and Patty Casazza released a petition that calls for, "the immediate declassification and release of all transcripts and documents relating to the July 10, 2001 meeting that took place between former CIA Director George Tenet and then National Security Advisor, Condoleezza Rice" as well as "the declassification and release of both the redacted 28 pages of the Joint Inquiry Into The Terrorist Attacks of September 11, 2001 (JICI) and the CIA Inspector General’s report, "CIA Accountability With Respect To The 9/11 Attacks". In the span of three days, they've managed to get 2041 signatures.
Considering all of the nice publicity you gave to Ann Coulter, don't you think it's time you started giving OTHER members of the 9/11 Truth Movement a "fair shake?"

My question to all those in the media, would you stand in the way of a investigation into the mass murder of 3000 US citizens? I suspect you have limited powers as to determining if 911 info will be covered to the degree at which it should be, but certainly you have it in your powers to publicly state that you would not get in the way of an investigation.

There is no media
This nation does not have a national news media. I challenge anyone to debate me on this. What we have is a system of information control. Only officially sanctioned history receives attention (focus) even if it slips into the reporting. This is easy to spot when you know what to look for. I teach this.
The media is the single buffer between the criminals in the ruling class and justice. The media hide the control and conspiracy related to control of our society. From the sham of the Federal Reserve system to the fixed elections in our nation our media is currently operating as a hyponitic distraction device that is designed to keep people concerned about issues that appear to be the most important issues but are in fact trivial when compared to the real issues.
Put me up against the media...use me as a speaker. I'll expose them for what they really are...America's number one enemy.

Thier is no media here...it is all a well scripted thought out process. Sometimes they slip or thier are exceptions like Kieth Olberman on Msnbc, or accidentally bringing on a guest who is actually OUTSPOKEN as compared to O'Reily or Hannity and Colmes. I watch the MSM and look at CNN everyday to see which way they are leaning and it is really scarey to me how nothing of any real "Meaning" is covered. 84% of the US think the Gov't is hiding something with 9/11??? Is that not front page news capable?? I just hate to believe that they are all involved and censored so much, but it is impossible to think otherwise.

I try my best to be in the middle, and I read CNN, MSNBC for the MSM news, then I come here, and Infowars.com to grab the links on what is really happening. What really Pissed me off the other day is when Youtube and Google pulled all of the Iraq videos that I had "Favorited" These were the ones that showed the USA getting its ass kicked by sniper fire. I can not believe they pulled all of them!! Thank God one guy here on this web site has saved them, and archived them..... I will grab the link for you to see....

You could get a million to march on DC simply in the name of opening an investigation. It's probably a little too soon to start waving and pointing fingers, a true independent investigation will be the best means of dicovery, judgment, and sentencing. All of us will need to be weaned into the Truth thoughout the trial as investigative reports divulge to us the details of who did what, where and when. Then we'll wave and point our fingers, and probably a bit more than that. What is clear is there's not a person who will say they'd stand in front of a 911 Investigation. The public has nothing to lose by opening an investigation into the mass murder of 3000 of our fellow citizens. Aside from seeking justice into a horrendous crime against our fellow US citizens, we just as well could say, why the hell not? The only people possibly suffering from the investigation, any investigation, are the criminals, whoever they might be. One thing is absolutely sure, an investigation would provide lot's of new information, even more than what has already been established. If the media went legite on 911 coverage, there'd be a media frenzy erupting. Paris Hilton and Michael Jackson step aside, Judgment 911 will be the media topic of the world, intensely so, and for a sustained amount of time. An audience like never before in history. There are at least a million people who know that already, and tapping into that Judgment 911 mass, means big buisness can thrive for many. I want an investigation.

Jesse, just after 9/11, I was told to go online and report my inside story to Art Bell. He didn't impress me for 10 minutes, so I hung-up in the cue. That's when I discovered Rense, and Alex Jones, and then I discovered your site. In theory, you've fully covered the issue to the core. Unfortunately, we need readership, with big, big numbers, as does Alex today.
*Do take a minute to delve into Jesse's site. It's a bit ambitious for one guy to do on his own (as I've learned the hard way,) but it's built on a great concept. We need a section on this site where people who could give their creative ideas on how we can spread the truth everywhere. I realize that we talk a lot about the problem we are facing, but not enough of what we can do to fight these problems. Some people feel powerless and don't know how to help, I think if we have a section here that dedicate on ideas that would be great. What you guys think?

the media's problem with 9/11 truth
It very much seems to me that some in the media just don't know how to "handle" the whole matter with 9/11 truth. There are some that are ready to give it airtime, e.g. CNN with the coming out of Charlie Sheen, to make a "special" about it, titled "conspiracy theory", but "what then" ? Then the show is over and they return to their business as usual. It's for some part then not their fault that "nothing happens" with it, because we all know that the Bush admin. has established many political and psychological "roadblocks" to make sure nobody questions them too much. They've done that among others by declaring the "state of war" after 9/11, causing a sort of "soft" martial law, with military law "only for terrorists", but then vaguely defining terrorists (according to the new bill) as as anyone the president declares to be one.
I'd highly recommend for those not familiar with it yet to research Watergate, because it gives many answers to what should long have happened:

the questions put to the commission by the Jersey girls were brilliant, they had really done their homework, asking the questions that can only mean it was an inside job/inside help. The commission then used the well known fraud of "filling in the blanks" with 'something', only this 'something' is far from what can be called an 'answer' - but who's there to judge, so 'officially' they heroically did the job and could have their photo-op, case closed.
I want the media to detail
I want the media to detail the measures taken to cover this up by our government. There are obvious questions and even more evidence pointing towards the blatent cover-up and complete disregard for an investigation.
How much prodding did it take just to get an investigation? How long did it take? How much contradictory evidence was overlooked? How was the investigation run and who was in charge?
Maybe they could do a story about who really benefitted from 9/11? Perhaps a story about how the NeoConservative agenda has now been adopted and propelled by this administration since 9/11 as well as their beliefs prior to 9/11.

I was reading and enjoying "The Elegant Universe" by Brian Greene.(before I got distracted by the whole we're-loosing-our-civil-rights thing) I know many women interested directly or tangentally with physics, mathematics and earth sciences.

As to the Jersey Girls, I think they're just sticking with a strategy that's the most accessable. Their arguments are strong and will get people interested. They'll get to CD in time; how else do you explain that micro-particulate soup at ground zero?

However, don't expect these women to take up 911 truth theories. Their stated goal is to get the government to do a real investigation into what happened, not hypothesize about same.
If they can accomplish the formation of a truly independent, bi-partisan (or non-partisan is better) investigation, that is good enough for me.

A real Court, (such as the US Supreme Court,) with real Judges, (those having body temperatures approaching 98 degrees) would have said long ago; You can't 'hide' this information from the public. This was a civic event and Everything should be de-classified, everty tape released, etc. There are guilty parties within the Gov, or there are not, but the Buildings and especially the Pentagon tapes should have been the subject of these 'Judges,' by day 3. They know, according to their creed of office, that they are obstructing the Law!
The problem streches back to World War II, whereas the Bush Family still have the smell of gasolene on their hands. I was always taught- that War was totally unnecessary. What sort of alliance are this Bush/Blair/BinLaden?

JUST ANOTHER INVESTIGATION, THAT'S ALL
Amy Goodman covered 9/11 truth on the 5th anniversary to cover her own behind: from the truth movement. Do you think she doesn't feel its heat? She's very aware that we are on her about this and that's the only reason she covered this topic last month. Her rationale was "They won't be able to touch me for awhile now". But little did she know that safety net of hers would only last a few weeks. Apparentley she thought we would decline after the 5th anniversary. LIttle did she know we aren't going anywhere. Next time we need to pressure her to have someone on (perhaps Webster Tarpley?) where he or she gets to lay out their views WITHOUT HAVING TO DEBATE anyone, especially someone as pathetic as those who speak for Popular Mechanics. Besides, it's not like they wouldn't have to debate anybody, they'd have to debate Ms. Goodman herself, who is obviously not in favor or the 9/11 truth movement, nor calling for a new investigation.
Perhaps that should be our new platform: calling on people, especially "gatekeepers" to call for another investigation, without throwing out accusations. Just letting the investigation itself do the talking. If you're innocent of any misdoing, why would you oppose another invesitagion? At very least to shut the 9/11 truth movement the fuck up once and for all, right? No matter where you stand, just call for a new investigation.

. . . wouldn't kill them to point out the fact that the 911 Commission was an abject failure. As we all know, a new petition for release of 911 documents has been started up by the Jersey Girls and last I read, it had over 2,000 sigs (I think that's right). That, I believe, is news worthy of print & broadcast.
I think Amy Goodman has been told to shut up and say as little as possible about this. Other progressives, like Cockburn or Matthew Rothschild, take it step further and attack the movement. But regardless of their passive or aggressive stance the fact that progressive publications and media personalities are so afraid to address this one issue (the event from which all other progressive concerns sprang forth: Iraq, erosion of habeas corpus, torture, warrantless spying, etc.) is, in itself, evidence of conspiracy afoot.
I think that's changing as the "truth" seeps into the American consciousness. I see it as a sort of "osmosis" by YouTube type of thing.
PS - With regard to your ending statement, I concur completely - again, press for a new investigation - that should be the first order of the day for 911 truth. Stop exhausting your energy debating the "no planers" (on the blogs anyway) and tell them to take it up with the new commission once it is formed.
