The 9/11 Truth Movement Is Filled With Great Salespeople
As a profession, I hate sales. You have to produce something for which you have absolutely no control over. You can't make a person buy something. Ultimately, it is the customer's decision whether or not they are going to give you their money. Provided what you're selling is what they're looking for, and what they want.
As we found out by the latest NYTimes/CBS poll, only 16% of this country believes the official version of events regarding 9/11. How did that happen? Are members of this movement just that good, or is it something else?
The "Debunkers" of this movement like to say things like, "Your facts are a joke", "you are in denial about what happened", "you are conspiradroid morons who like to fabricate reality", and many other nice, and complimentary statements.
If the facts that we cite are a joke, and we are in denial about what happened, then how is it that 84% of this country are starting to believe what we have to say?
As I said, I hate sales. Because of that fact, it probably means I'm not very good at it. Again, why are people starting to believe what we have to say?
Could it be that the facts that we cite aren't a joke, and in fact, speak for themselves? Could it be that the questions we have are legitimate, and deserve to be answered?
Truth is the product. One which hasn't been provided by our Government. Anyone who looks at the facts we cite can see that. Anyone who listens to the questions we have can see that.
It's very clear that the people are both looking for, and want the truth. As the NYTimes and CBS have proven, it's a very easy sale.

Brilliant write up! You're
Brilliant write up! You're right man there's a huge "Niche Market" for truth when practically everything governments and the media “sell” consists of lies, propaganda, half-truths and distortions. The truth is in demand, and we've got to meet that supply as best we can.
Basically...
I wrote this to show that people are not buying the official story, and the reason being, our facts are not a joke, and instead speak for themselves.

It was another "shot" at the "debunkers." :)

good writeup. i would argue
good writeup.
i would argue that it isn't so much that the average american is 'buying' what some in the movement believe, but more that they are no longer 'buying' was was spoon fed to them from the government.
in other words, everything the government initially claimed regarding 9/11 - noone could've imagined, no warnings, etc. etc - has turned out to be a lie.
i dont think these numbers reflect the number of people whom buy into theories like C.D., etc. but rather those that no longer buy the official line. with that said, these people are more and more willing to listen to what is available, I only hope that which they hear is from the more reputable and well-spoken.
Ah, but...
"everything the government initially claimed regarding 9/11 - noone could've imagined, no warnings, etc. etc - has turned out to be a lie"
They certainly didn't find that out from the media. ;)

Which is why "direct truthing" is so important
and by that I mean, of course, getting out in the street and talking to people. It's very easy for even just one shill to troll a hundred websites. What the shills can't do is shut down a single truther in the street who has materials--audio, verbal, and visual and the ability to address common concerns.
it's simply not enough to make websites and cover the blogosphere and MSM comments sections. The real change is happening in the street where you come face to face with your fellow citizens and reconnect with each other. I can say this from years of experience doing just that--there is no better way.
We are absolutely "selling" a " product", and luckily one that, with just a little help, sells itself. The real progress happens with real people, and this progress may or may not be accurately represented in the media. Chances are the media will always downplay the progress just to slow it down. The more people become aware, though, the less this tactic works since people simply stop watching or buying mainstream news, and that is noticed, friends.
We will soon get to a point where in any given gathering of people, regardless of what the MSM is saying, the truthers will outnumber the shills and the undecideds will see pretty clearly where they should be. First in quiet whispers in hallways, then in loud conversations outside and on the bus, etc. It WILL break.

Curious
I am anxious to see if the polls change the way the MSM handle the story. I have my serious doubts. Probably cause Pinhead O'Reilly to go into a rampage against the truth.
Will any leftgaters change position? I doubt it. Will Bill Mahr, Jon Stewart, Steven Colbert touch the issue. No, they are chicken shits. More worried about their careers than the truth.
What about Carlos Mendes the so-called "common sense" wetback. Another chicken shit coward.

"I am anxious to see if the polls change the way the MSM handle the story."
First, we haven't seen these polls widely published in the MainStream Media (MSM) anyway.
Second, we prolly have more reason to be anxious if ever again such a poll will be published by the same sources.
Reality
Sorry folks, but I would bet if you polled the people who don't believe the Bush Admin is telling the truth about 9/11 and asked them whey they think that, only a small percentage will tribute it to the 9/11 Truth Movement. The average Joe or Jane is would answer "Bush is lying" at this point to just about any question about 9/11, Iraq, WMD, War on Terror. The man only has a 35% approval rating and 50% of the country (Democrats) down right hate the man. The only difference in the polls is just that people hate him more today then they did 2 years ago and some Republican's are starting to distrust him also.
That's not to say that the Truth Movement does not have a HUGE opportunity to capitalize on this. AND if the Demos get power there may be some real hope. But let’s not be so full of ourselves that we believe that our message has propagated to the average John or Jane Doe.
So you're saying...
All the work I've done has been for nothing? I find that hard to believe.

Great Americans
All true Truthers are a great American Patriots. We should be proud, but humble; outspoken, but thoughtful; driven, but patient. Greatness comes not from self validation, but from the well of brotherhood, rightousness, and steadfastness. For 911 Truthers to be taken seriously we must think rationally, act with purpose, and never waiver in our commitment to unvail the fuller truth.
