I can understand Alex denying peakoil, he is not the brightest guy on the planet.
But, Greg...? And it is very hard to believe that he is a shill for big oil.
Apart from that , it seems to be a very interesting book.
Peak Oil
Peak oil is a joke, their own internal documents admit that it's all a fraud used to create artificial scarcity.
There's lots of material available to research it, but here's just one recent article where an Exxon CEO from Australia admits that Peak Oil is nothing but a myth.

He "admitted" peak oil was a myth?? Oh come now. If you think that any Exxon exec. would say anything not vetted and calculated, I have some mountain property for you. Palast and Jones know very little about PO and it is much more complicated that either will acknowledge. I suggest that anyone who actually wants to learn about it... rather than simply spouting bites... should go to www.peakoil.net . And, yes, dear folks, PO is real. If you really want to know why the geopolitical maneuvering you are seeing every day is occurring, you have to comprehend that the end of cheap energy (the energy that modern tech and society depend upon) is confronting the world. Don't forget Hubbell and don't forget to factor in the continuing increase in -demand' for energy.

Well why don't you research how the peak oil theory was created by Dutch Royal Shell. This must be vetted and calculated right?
Explain to me then why they admit in their internal documents that there's too much oil, and will be for many years to come. Because of this, they say they need to buy up all the refineries, subsequently cutting production in order to raise the price.

This is exactly why the Peak Oil myth was created. The demand goes up, and the supply is being made artificially scarse. Who benefits from the Peak Oil theory?

Propz on posting this 911TruthNC! How can anyone concerned with hard facts and truth vote this video down? The “Peak Oil” people just cast of the fact that Venezuela alone has more Oil than Saudi Arabia, and claim it’s a “lie” from Chavez. That proves they’re not interested in truth, only their “belief” in an extremely suspect, divisive and stupidly pessimistic issue. It seems to me that the "Peak Oil" people are either possibly paid disinfo or idiots/dupes just like the "no plane" "mini nuke" "beam weapon" crowd/shills. They push something as "FACT" that is nothing but, is contradicted by many things and with many valid reasons to doubt. "Peak Oil" putting aside everything that suggests it is a scam is above all intensely divisive and the people who push it make me want to vomit more so than the “no planers” because not even the "no planers" seem as brainwashed.
Yes, Venezuela and Alberta
Yes, Venezuela and Alberta has huge oil reserves in the form of tar sand. But to extract oil from tar sand is not easy and is very expensive. It is not a solution to the peakoil problem.
