All you folks claiming there was a free fall collapse. There was no free fall collapse.
All available science show it was 2/3 of a free fall collapse.
Exactly, what you would expect from a pancake collapse. The WTC did not contain
that much concrete. So it was natural for not much to be left in that type of collapse.
I have been over at the James Randi forum and seen the light!

You need to keep up to speed on the research.
Even the official NIST report rejects the pancake theory.
So, you are defending a theory that even the official story has abandoned.
Additionally, when you say it is "natural for not much to be left in that type of collapse" you are stating an opinion - not a scientific fact based on any research that you can point to.
Also, please keep in mind that the recovery efforts at the WTC yielded almost a uniform account from rescue workers - that nearly 100% of the contents of the building - concrete - dry wall - carpeting - desks - computers - phones - metal filing cabinets - etc etc were ALL pulverized into near-nonexistence.
we have the video account of one worker who mentioned that in all his days of searching through the rubble the biggest piece of ANY office contents found was 1/4 inch of a telephone keypad.
So, the question remains, how did all of the contents of the WTC spontaneously become reduced to dust? If you can show us some math associated with physics - and gravity - and the source of energy that would explain such a phenomenon (which you catagorize as "natural for not much to be left in that type of collapse") - then we would all be interested in reading it.
But, if you are simply baiting us with unsubstantiated opinions - dressed up to sound like facts - you are adding no value to the discussion - and simply being a provacatour.

Wake up! Those buildings did NOT fall because of weakened steel or any other theory the government and their media whores are pushing. That building was BLOWN...as in controlled demolition!

that's an astounding rate of 11 floors/second.

each tower supposedly contained approx 400k cubic yards of concrete.
Free fall
Actually means what time an object would take to fall that distance in a VACUUM.
Absolute freefall in a Vacuum would be approx. 9.2 seconds
The buildings fell within 1 second of absolute freefall.
Now in reality IF a building were to somehow collapse due to fire damage, first off the fire would have needed to have been about 3X hotter than it was (fire was less than 850 degrees F), burn virtually every floor top to bottom completely engulfed in flame and do so for probably at least 20-30 hours.
and THEN what you would see would be a very slow, warping, buckling, bending, with many minor collapses and even then you would not have complete 100% collapse like we saw. You also would NOT have a "vacuum" because the only way you can create a vacuum is with explosives.
You would be timing the collapse in HOURS not split seconds.
Then top it off with the FACT that no high rise steel structured building in history has ever collapsed due to fire damage and what you have is irrefutable evidence that indeed all 3 buildings were destroyed by Controlled Demolition.

I am not being sarcastic. I am in preparation. Hoping folks could help me with my arguments. When I take on the James Randi crowd. They are obviously full of themselves.
So far, everyone has given me what they think are facts.
Facts are backed up for supportive evidence. Can you point to sources for your conclusions?
I am short on time. I will show you what I have when I get the time to put something down.
We do have the facts are our side. We still have to be solid in how be present our facts. All holes will be taken advantage of.

umm. x = 1/2at^2. t =
umm. x = 1/2at^2. t = sqrt(9.8*413*2) = 9.2 seconds.
(413m is the height of the towers)
lets assume that there is 1/3 the resistive force at
each floor that we know existed, since the building stood up
in the first place.
the towers have 110 floors - so each floor is about 3.8 meters high
so for each floor -
3.8 = 1/2 (6.5) t^2, t = sqrt(6.5*3.8*2) = 7 seconds per floor and....
and 770 seconds for the whole building.
thats with 1/3 the resistive force we know was there because
the building was standing!!!!!! a collapse in 10 seconds is
utterly ridiculous.
