We Are Not Alone

By Jon Gold
10/31/2006

Some of you who have been doing this for a long time, have gone through bouts of feeling alone. Thinking you're the only one who cares. Thinking you're the only one who thinks the actions of this Administration, and their friends, are wrong.

Within the last year and a half, this movement has received a lot of attention. The build-up initially started when Dr. David Ray Griffin gave his famous lecture at the University of Wisconsin.

Since that time, we have had several "mainstream" individuals come forward with doubts.

We have had a Physics Professor come forward, and cite very convincingly that Controlled Demolition may have been the cause of the towers' collapse, as well as building 7.

We had a celebrity by the name of Charlie Sheen voice his concerns regarding the official story of 9/11.

We have held several events where "standing room only" was not uncommon. Some of those were the 2005 Emergency Truth Convergence, 9/11: Revealing The Truth, Reclaiming Our Future, the American Scholars Symposium, 9/11 & The American Empire: Intellectuals Speak Out, 9-11 Research; Why The Official Story Cannot Be True, and many others.

We have had several phenomenal movies released. Some of those are 9/11: Press For Truth, Everybody's Gotta Learn Sometime, 9/11 Mysteries, Improbable Collapse, 9/11 Revisited, and several others.

We have had several polls that prove we are not alone. The May 22nd Zogby Poll showed that 45% of Americans suspect that, "US government officials consciously allowed or helped facilitate their [the 9/11 attacks] success. The August 1st Scripps Howard poll showed that "more than a third of the American public suspects that federal officials assisted in the 9/11 terrorist attacks or took no action to stop them so the United States could go to war in the Middle East." The October 14th CBSNews/NYTimes poll showed that only 16% of Americans believe the official story of 9/11.

We have had first responders who are sick and dying come forward to speak the truth, and endorse the 9/11 Truth Movement for doing the "right thing."

We have endured another anniversary with the knowledge that those responsible, have not been held accountable, but we did so in massive numbers.

We currently have 20 people running for office who want a new investigation into 9/11.

We now have family members calling for a new investigation, as well as the release of several relevant documents. The petition currently has 4908 signatures.

All of this points to one irrefutable fact. We are not alone.

In the coming weeks, there will be several screenings of 9/11: Press For Truth. I recommend everyone attend to see who in your area has an interest in ending this nightmare. Also, if you are interested, you can host your own screening. There is a showing taking place this Saturday in Cherry Hill New Jersey that is being co-sponsored by the PA 9/11 Visibility Group. A group of very brave individuals I would not have met had I not gotten off my @ss.

It is time to use our numbers to our advantage. It is time to make ourselves heard. The only way we can do that is by joining forces, and make our combined message something that can not be ignored.

We the people... who are not alone.

i think that the poll that

i think that the poll that is currently running here shows as well that we are making serious progress..

as things get worse, and the corruption becomes more overt, people will start to realize that incompetence or 'noone could've known' explanations just don't fit the mold.

i am afraid that we are getting near the ropes with the next election. i personally am sure that the republicans will maintain power, and that we will see a continued escalation in goverment power, etc. when this election is stolen again it will increase the motivation behind the people, but it will also break the will of others.

keep your head up everyone.

Motivational...

Music.

right you are jon

The amazingly positive write-ups of the Colorado events in the Denver and Boulder papers (linked at 91blogger) are another good sign. The mainstream media taking us seriously--without even a hint of condescension, cutesy "aren't they colorful" stuff, obligatory disclaimers, or hostile put-downs--is very nearly a first.

Thanks...

Kevin... I love the coverage of the Colorado event... however, I'm waiting for "Swift Boat Veterans" coverage to know that the media has finally "kicked in."

And...

The build-up initially started when Dr. David Ray Griffin gave his famous lecture at the University of Wisconsin.

We can thank Kevin for that.

Thank You Kevin

My journey started after I randomly caught DRG's lecture on CSPAN's Book TV late one night during law school. I came in about 10 minutes after it started, but my jaw was on the floor the entire time.

I am eternally grateful to you Kevin if you were responsible for setting that up.

It's him...

See?

Thanks Kev!!!

DRG's BookTV appearance converted me. By luck of the draw. I was tuning in that Sunday. Then I found the video at 911Busters.com. I took the red pill without realizing it.

I could still be a blind fool left to the whims of the MSM.

I wish more Profs. would join DRG, Jones, Barrett, Fetzer, etc.

For example, are there no other physics profs in the U.S.A. who will stand with Jones? No other theologians who will stand by DRG? What the heck is going on with all the other profs in this country? Are they all cowards or something? (I think we'd even settle for some grad students to join in at this point.)

And how about a few more celebrities to support Charlie Sheen?

???

well...

I think the reasons for that are complex, but you know I was watching a documentary with Chomsky recently, and I don't agree with everything Chomsky says of course, far from it, and I can't remember which it was he was talking about;....either WWII from Germany's perspective or Vietnam from America's but he said the intelligentsia of the day were completely behind it.

As bizarre as it sounds, you can't exclusively look to academia overall as a moderating influence on government, in fact sadly often quite the reverse. Another example here in the UK; there seems to be very very few strong dissenting voices from academia about the New Labour's radical realignment of society into a quantized political police state. One guy from LSE has been quite vocal against this, particularly re the human ID slave grid, but generally it's pretty pathetic. Academics wrote to the government about their 'Glorification of Terror Law' here, but not to say it was wrong (which it is), but to ensure they could be exonerated from it.

For by far the most part, and with notable exceptions like Professor Barret and the other great scholars for 911 Truth, academia internationally remains a pretty poisoned political object that actually is just not very intelligent at all, and it should not, and cannot be looked to, at least on its own, as some sort of safeguard against tyranny. It sounds incredible, but that's just how it is.

That said, Jon is absolutely right to be positive, pro-active and strongly talk about those professors and the many others of all walks of life who have came forward to take a stand and inspire others.

Keep up the good work Jon and Kevin.

J

We are most definitely

not alone.

The voices calling for truth are growing in number and in strength, and the reception has been extremely positive. Those propping up the Bush Administration's story are weakening as they see the futility of their sadistic efforts.

Many people are beginning to understand that their own personal interests are tied to revealing the truth behind 9/11. Do you remember when you first understood the need for truth, and how that grew into a powerful urge to speak out?

It may take time, but there is no doubt in my mind that the truth will win out. Jon, you and the other truth champions here are making a greater difference than you may know.

Thanks...

Kevin. That's nice to hear.

boldness and faith

One of the 9-11 movement's biggest strengths is that it draws some very professional independent filmmakers by the nature of the subject.

Not to be philosophical, but the reference to Kevin's, DRG Wisconsin event directly leading to the beginning of someone's 9-11 awareness reminds me of one guiding force of the founding 9-11 truth activist movement, via The National 9-11 Visibility Project.

Ever an optimist, Bill Douglas' philosophy is that it is often necessary to do many things simply based on faith. Faith that even though we may never directly see the immediate results, our bold initiatives often DO lead to effecting dramatic change. At this critical time, whether we personally see effects of our actions is completely secondary to resulting successful effects that may quietly come to fruition, even years later.

For a fascinating study of a bold, Faith based bold initiative, here is an Oct. 4th video clip of Ray McGovern discussing his and Daniel Ellsberg's 2004 Truthtelling Appeal

Re: We Are not Alone.

Since Griffin and S. Jones came forward we've certainly escalated. It is important to take sustenance from our recent progress but not be satisfied.

We need, in fact, to escalate further. We need to develop ways for those of us whose lives have been so consumed by 911 to show the depth of our concerns.

I strongly urge people to leaflet for whistleblowers at their local federal buildings. It is legal but very dangerous. If those with something to hide decide such leafleters are a threat, there could be consequensces. There's a downladable leaflet at http://www.911 courage.org.

I'm going to court on 11/13 for trespass at the early showings of Stone's World Trade Center movie. I expect to plead guilty and ask for the stiffest sentence. I'm advised I won't do time til the time I go to court after this. Please keep notice at http://www.911courage.org.

At present

my personal sense of hope died a slow and painful death this week.

Mine comes and goes.

But fortunately, there's something sort of akin to hope that's there all the time -- and that is my intention to do the right thing even if it's in vain. It's not a grim resolution at all; it leads to something more like a sense of liberation and simplification.

Yes

I had been telling myself that over and over. And I believed it. Maybe I'm just having a bad week. :p

Hey...

We ALL go through those inner battles. Am I doing the right thing? Is there any chance we can succeed?

Sometimes we "win" those battles, and sometimes we "lose." I do know this. 2973+ were brutally murdered on 9/11, and no one has been held accountable. No one.

Unless you count Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, and the people of America, and everyone affected by the decisions of this Government. Which essentially includes everyone.

We can't give up. We just can't.
