How Fake is Saddam's Trial

Months back, I told a friend, "Just you wait. The death sentence against Saddam will be used as an October surprise to help the Republicans win." I was expecting an October surprise, not a November one. But here it is, two days before the election, and just what the neocons needed to receive some validation for their illegal invasion of Iraq, the pronouncement of "death by hanging" against Saddam was given.

Let me throw something out there to all you truthers. You remember the fake bin Laden confession, as seen in the "Loose Change" video. You know the Bush Administration has no integrity and no conscience for being truthful. Now supposing the capture of Saddam and the trial of Saddam is as much a farce as that bin Laden confession. And to take it one step farther, supposing it's not the real Saddam, but rather an actor or a complicit double of Saddam who stood before the judge this weekend to take the death sentence.

If you say it can't be, consider the recent revelation from Bob Jackson, the photographer of the famous shooting of Oswald in Nov. 1963. Jackson is now saying there was not even a drop of blood on Oswald or at the crime scene as Oswald was taken to an ambulance.

So what happened to Oswald? Who knows? He could have been given face surgery, a new identification and a check for a million dollars, and he would happily go on his way.

Before you lump me with those who claim no-plane hit the towers or those who claim no astronaut ever landed on the moon, let me present some of the evidence for why it's quite plausible that a fake Saddam is on trial. And by the way, most of the evidence of a fake Saddam was brought to the Internet media by the late, great researcher Joe Vialls. Vialls, I should have you know, who was one of the first to publically question and poke holes through the "official 9/11 conspiracy theory". (This blog is for you, Joe.)

1) DENTAL APPEARANCE. I know it's rude to look at people's teeth, but take a look at Saddam in court. He has a terrible underbite and evidence of very poor dental health. There is no evidence in any of the early Saddam pictures of him having these problems. And logically speaking, here is a man who build huge palaces for himself, adorning them with 14k gold bathroom faucets, marble floors and alabaster pillars. Could he not afford to take care of his teeth?

2) SADDAM'S WIFE SAID IT WASN'T HIM. As Joe Vialls reported in 2004: "Sajida arrived from Syria with her official escort Sheikh Hamad Al-Tani, and then entered the prison, emerging only moments later pink with rage and shouting, 'This is not my husband but his double. Where is my husband? Take me to my husband'. American officials rushed forward to shield Mrs Saddam from perplexed Russian observers, trying to insist that Saddam had changed a lot while in custody and she probably didn't recognise him. This was certainly not the best way to handle the Iraqi President's wife. 'You think I do not know my husband?' Sajida shouted furiously, 'I was married to the man for more than twenty-five years!' Then she stormed off, never to return." Say it ain't so, Joe.

3) COMMON SENSE. The real Saddam knew well in advance of the U.S./British invasion of Iraq. He had ample time to protect himself from capture (and to hide his stache of WMD if he had one). There were reports of him possibly going to Syria, to Libya or to Belarus. It's quite possible that Saddam sent decoy doubles to several destinations which would explain the conflicting reports. Common sense tells us that Saddam would not have allowed for himself to be so poorly protected as was reported to us as gospel truth at the time of his supposed capture.

All kinds of conclusions can be drawn from this. Needless to say, only an independent investigation can bring us any closer to the truth. We simply cannot trust the Bush administration or the current Pentagon leadership to be truthful to us...about anything or anyone.

a big feature on saddam's doubles

The issue of Saddam's doubles is no wacky conspiracy theory.

In the 1990s, the New York Times had a full-page article -- on the back page of The Week in Review section, if I recall -- that had many photos and evidence that Saddam (for his own safety) had upwards of a dozen doubles.

It had several pictures of "Saddam" at various events and it identified which ones were really Saddam and which ones were the doubles.

I wish I had a better date for the article, but I don't. Many libraries have Indexes to the Times, so maybe someone can find it. (I may have the actual article in the bottom of a box somewhere.) No idea if it is part of the Times online archives.

well that was easy!!!

I went to The Google and found a bunch of stuff.

Pictures, etc.:

The Times ran the article I was thinking of on October 6, 2002 in The Week in Review, Page 14:
"American intelligence officials have long suspected that Pres Saddam Hussein of Iraq makes ample use of body-doubles; recent examination of hundreds of archived photographs and video stills of Hussein by German pathologist has determined that there are at least three Saddam Hussein lookalikes in rotation, making public appearances, firing rifles, smoking cigars, waving and strutting; Iraqi dissidents have told stories of impostor Husseins in past of real and lookalike Saddam Husseins"

I was sort of close. Not a dozen, but 3. And 2002 is not in the 1990s!

Somebody stopped in and told

Somebody stopped in and told me about this at work. Really sad that this psyop would have any effect at this point. Maybe it won't, who knows. Sad and tragic to bear witness to.
