9/11 marketing strategies

Note, a podcast of various building 7 collapses available here.

Dear 9/11 Friends and Activists

Can we, should we, all start referring to Bldg 7 as “The Smoking Gun”? (This concept may assist with propelling Bldg. 7 into the mainstream consciousness).

Can someone, or many, splice together all the various video clips of collapsing WTC 7 and post it online, allowing anyone to download it, thus allowing those with laptops to open them up in all kinds of locations and show “The Smoking Gun” to anyone within view. The video could be limited to less than 2-3 minutes, (everyone is in a rush) set up to replay continuously, have introductory video’s of other controlled demolitions. (Please let me know if someone has compiled this already – I’m anxious for it). Perhaps the same concept can be used for a separate video compilation of the Twin Towers.

How about we pool our money and purchase billboard signage, perhaps along the Interstate/Freeways/Highways. (Keep in mind, a billboard viewer has less than 8 seconds to grasp the sign's content) The sign might say:

Can we, should we, all start referring to Bldg 7 as

"The Smoking Gun"?

Yes, yes, and yes to all of these great suggestions!!!

Silverstein knows that WTC-7 was pre-planted with explosives!

Larry Silverstein, the owner of the WTC complex, admitted on a September 2002 PBS documentary, 'America Rebuilds' that he and the NYFD decided to 'pull' WTC 7 on the day of the attack. The word 'pull' is industry jargon for taking a building down with explosives.

Since the NY Fire Dept. does NOT impolde buidings, nor would anyone have had time to set up WTC-7 for implosion that day, I'd say Silverstein was trying to cover-up the fact that WTC-7 had been pre-set with demolition explosives by the real perpetraitors--elements in our own government!

Cover-up? He was the one who mentioned it in the first place. Some cover-up.

Only in conspiracy theory logic does the fire department decided to blow up buildings based on the fact that they had a severe loss of life.

Cover-up the fact that WTC-7 was planned & wired for demolition

weeks or months in advance! Silverstein was claiming it was a spur-of-the-moment decision made by him & the Fire Dept. That is bullshit.

BTW, are you playing word games with me?

and only

in Official Government Conspiracy theory non-logic do people not grasp an obvious statement and try to turn it around 180 deg.

Why that seems so obvious now. Silverstein must have been claiming that because of the "Terrible loss of life" a team from the FDNY's elite controlled demolition unit snuck into a burning building and rigged it to explode in a matter of hours!

Compared to that theory, the idea that he was simply referring to pulling the firefighting effort back seems silly by comparison. How could I have been so wrong?

ahhh, there were NO

ahhh, there were NO firefighters in building 7....

Please stop your double-talk, Eric Blair

If Silverstein meant firefighters should evacuate from WTC-7 (reports state none were inside), or firefighters should leave the area, he would've said "pull-out" or "pull-back", not "pull-it, & watch the building collapse."

(On another unpleasant note, do elderly shysters really advise the Fire Dept. of what to do anyway?)

The old fossil Silverstein has been in real estate for decades,

and he damn well knows what "pull-it" means--take down a building!

Pull It

Please post one reputable source (an expert, not some video made by a conspiracy theorist) that "pull it" has ever been an industry term for controlled demolitions. Just one, I dare you. Here is 5:

If you ask any CD expert though, you will find out that it doesn't. Brett Blanchard, from implosionworld.com explains:

We have never once heard the term "pull it" being used to refer to the explosive demolition of a building, and neither has any blast team we've spoken with. The term is used in conventional demolition circles, to describe the specific activity of attaching long cables to a pre-weakened building and maneuvering heavy equipment (excavators, bulldozers, etc.) to "pull" the frame of the structure over onto its side for further dismantlement.

But hey, who are you going to believe, someone who has been working in the industry for years, or a retired philosophy professor?

The new Popular Mechanics book addresses this same issue on page 57:

Four demolition and engineering experts tell Popular Mechanics that pull it is not slang for controlled demolition. "I've never heard of it," says Jon Magnusson of Magnusson Klemencic Associates.

Ron Dokell, retired president of Olshan Demolishing Company, says the same thing. Mark Loizeaux of Controlled Demolition, Inc. adds that the only way he can imagine the term being used is in reference to a process where the legs of a structure are precut and attached to cables, and then large machines are used to literally pull the building to the ground.

re: "Pull it". Here ya go, Eric Blair ...

PM "Researchers" Benjamin Chertoff & Davin Coburn can't agree on what the term "Pull it" means

Controlled demolition expert Danny Jowenko talking about Building 7:

"This is work of man. This is a hired job. (Silverstein) said it himself. You hear him saying "Pull it" down."

Btw, Danny Jowenko owns his own demolition firm and is listed on ImplosionWorld's website as being one of their licensed blasters and associates:

heh sorry i guess i shoulda

heh sorry i guess i shoulda hit refresh :D

No prob at all...

I'm happy you posted it too:)

Here's another idea: Try

Here's another idea:

Try replacing the word "pull" with "x" in the above referenced Silverstein quote, and the implied meaning remains the same. The proof is in the last sentence, "...and then we watched the building come down." What other decision made by Silverstein or, as he has it, the fire department, could possibly have resulted in that?

I guess when 9/11 changed everything, that includes spokespeople willing to own up to their industry slang.

Sure, go ahead and fabricate a quote.

Is that what the "truth" movement is doing? Making stuff up?

Love ya too, sweetie. Best

Love ya too, sweetie. Best friends forever?

screwloosechange is pure bull...

PM "Researchers" Benjamin Chertoff & Davin Coburn can't agree on what the term "Pull it" means

From the link above:

Benjamin Chertoff, Researcher for Popular Mechanics, on Coast to Coast AM - March 5, 2005:

I'm glad somebody brought up the Larry Silverstein comment, because we certainly looked at that... What he says is "they decided to pull" which is referring to the fire department. And of course in some circles of the controlled demolition industry "Pull" is used to mean that you actually demolish a building.

Just over a year later, Popular Mechanics changes their story...

Davin Coburn, Researcher for Popular Mechanics, on The Charles Goyette Show - August 23, 2006:

Having spoken to any number of large controlled demolition firms... the term "Pull it" is not a demolition term... We have never heard it used that way and neither actually have the people who do this professionally that we spoke to.(More after jump...)

I'm confused. A researcher from PM publicly admits that "Pull" IS a controlled demolition term -- however, a year later another PM researcher explains that it's not...?

Well, from looking at the information below, it appears that someone from PM's "Research" department is lying...

Phone call from PUMPITOUT.COM to Controlled Demolitions Inc:

PUMPITOUT: Is this Controlled Demolitions?
PIO: Ok, I was wondering if there was someone I could talk to breifly just to just ask a question I had?
CDI: Well what kind of question?
PIO:I just wanted to know what a term meant in demolition terms.
CDI: Ok what type of term?
PIO: Well if you were in the demolition business and you said the term "Pull it", I was wondering exactly what that would mean?
CDI: "Pull it"?
PIO: Yeah.
CDI: Hmm. Hold on a minute.
PIO: Thank you.
CDI: Sir?
PIO: Yes.
CDI: Pull it is when they actually pull it down.
PIO: Oh, well thank you very much for your time.

And here's an excerpt from an interview with controlled demolition expert Danny Jowenko, who has almost twenty years experience performing CDs, also confirming that "Pull it" is a controlled demolition term:

This is work of man. This is a hired job. (Silverstein) said it himself. You hear him saying "Pull it" down.

Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sep-HDZoEBM

I think it's long overdue that Mr. Silverstein get up in front of a courtroom under oath and explain exactly what he meant when he said...

I remember getting a call from the, er, fire department commander, telling me that they were not sure they were gonna be able to contain the fire, and I said, "We've had such terrible loss of life, maybe the smartest thing to do is pull it." And they made that decision to pull and then we watched the building collapse.

Thanks to PUMPITOUT.COM for helping expose the dishonest research practices of Popular Mechanics.

A construction worker makes the same reference to WTC-6

in a video documentary. You can clearly hear him say we are "getting ready to pull building 6, and then they knock down WTC-6! What more proof do you want that pull means knock down a building???
Here's the clip. (It's only 1 minute and 16 seconds long, so watch it.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNEoiOP76QQ

Hey genius, they literally did pull down building 6, with cables, that was in the link I provided. Are you claiming that building 7 was destroyed in this manner? That would be the only way it would be appropriate.

Tell that to Larry "pull-it" Silverstein then

Eric Blair

Why did you skip over the fact that Controlled Demolition expert Danny Jowenko agrees that "Pull it" means to demolish a building with explosives?

Here's a short video (6 minutes) on the destrution of building 7 containing most of the footage:

Excellent video

That first clip of Building 7 in the video says it all.

Thanks for posting.

I hope you people had a very pleasant Thanksgiving

Unfortunately, there were about 3,000 empty chairs at holiday dinner tables due to 9/11. That's a lot of Widows, widowers, & orphans.

Thousands Of Victims' Family Members...

Believe 9/11 Was An Inside Job:

They want and deserve a new investigation and that's what we're trying to make happen.

This will be the primary message I will be putting on my freeway signs beginning next week. I will also be putting this message on smaller signs to be seen by motorists stopped at traffic lights and for pedestrians to see as well. I hope that some of you will feel similarly inclined, it's a fun, easy and relatively cheap way to get the message into the public.

If we can get people looking it up online and talking about it at all the holiday parties coming up we can push 9/11 Truth to the next level.

Some of my other signs read:

We need to continue expanding our grassroots education efforts and need to begin challenging the MSM to show the "collapse" of WTC 7 on television.

We need to rain emails, letters, postcards, phone calls, faxes, etc. down on all the local and national broadcasters to show the video of WTC 7.

Make their blackout of WTC 7 the issue, shame them into doing it, or force them to make ridiculous excuses for not showing it and outing themselves in the process.

The truth shall set us free. Love is the only way forward.

Be well.

WTC7 Video clips & quotes

Video clips of World Trade Center Building 7 being "pulled" on 9/11:

Building 7 Demolition Quotes:

-Reporter Al Jones: "People started to run away from the scene [WTC7] and I turned in time to see what looked like a skyscraper implosion -- looked like it had been done by a demolition crew -- the whole thing just collapsing down on itself and another big huge plume of gray and white smoke shooting up into the air and then more of the smoke billowing up the street here... so that’s number one, number two, and now number seven that have come down from this explosion."

-Emergency worker: "We were watching the building [WTC7] actually ‘cause it was on fire… the bottom floors of the building were on fire and… we heard this sound that sounded like a clap of thunder… turned around -- we were shocked to see that the building was ah well it looked like there was a shockwave ripping through the building and the windows all busted out… it was horrifying… about a second later the bottom floor caved out and the building followed after that we saw the building crash down all the way to the ground… we were in shock."

-Guns & Butter Radio interview - April 27th 2005:
Hosted by Bonnie Falkner
Guest: Indira Singh (Ground Zero Emergency Worker)

Bonnie: How long did you work as an emergency medical technician and exactly what is it that you were doing (at ground zero)?

Indira: ...when I got there we were setting up triage sites (at ground zero), close, very close to the area. The triage site that I was setting up was behind, well, to the east of Building 7 where Building 7 came down...
...we were setting up triages as close to the pile as possible… so what we were doing was setting up different kinds of stations… IV stations, cardiac stations, wound stations, burn stations ...just trying to have an organized space. What happened with that particular triage site is that pretty soon afternoon, after mid-day on 9/11 we had to evacuate that because they told us Building 7 was coming down... I do believe that they brought Building 7 down... By noon or one o'clock they told us we had to move from that triage site up to Pace University a little further away because Building 7 was going to come down or being brought down.

Bonnie: Did they actually use the word brought down and who was it that was telling you this?

Indira: The fire department... the fire department and they did use the word "we're going to have to bring it down."

Excerpt from above is heard approximately ten minutes into the interview.

-Columbia Journalism Review – May/June 2003, by Thomas Franklin

Excerpt from an article written by award winning photographer, Thomas Franklin, who snapped the world famous photo of firemen raising the American flag at ground zero. In the article Franklin explains that all of ground zero was evacuated less than an hour before WTC 7 was demolished at approximately 5:20 pm on 9/11:

"Much of what happened to me on September 11 is a blur, but this moment I clearly remember: It was 4:45 p.m., and all the firemen and rescue workers were evacuating Ground Zero after word came that a third building -- WTC 7 -- was ready to fall. I had only a few frames left, and an entire day's worth of pictures to develop, so I prepared to head back to New Jersey."

- CBS News Anchor, Dan Rather, makes comments after Building 7 falls down:

“Amazing, incredible pick your word. For the third time today, it’s reminiscent of those pictures we’ve all seen too much on television before, where a building was deliberately destroyed by well placed dynamite to knock it down.
Video:: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BcquyD_DcQ

-Former NYC Police Officer and 9/11 Rescue Worker Craig Bartmer:

"I was real close to Building 7 when it fell down... That didn't sound like just a building falling down to me while I was running away from it. There's a lot of eyewitness testimony down there of hearing explosions. I didn't see any reason for that building to fall down the way it did -- and a lot of guys should be saying the same thing. I don't know what the fear is coming out and talking about it? I don't know -- but it's the truth.

I walked around it (Building 7). I saw a hole. I didn't see a hole bad enough to knock a building down, though. Yeah there was definitely fire in the building, but I didn't hear any... I didn't hear any creaking, or... I didn't hear any indication that it was going to come down. And all of a sudden the radios exploded and everyone started screaming 'get away, get away, get away from it!'... It was at that moment... I looked up, and it was nothing I would ever imagine seeing in my life. The thing started pealing in on itself... Somebody grabbed my shoulder and I started running, and the shit's hitting the ground behind me, and the whole time you're hearing "boom, boom, boom, boom, boom." I think I know an explosion when I hear it... Yeah it had some damage to it, but nothing like what they're saying... Nothing to account for what we saw... I am shocked at the story we've heard about it to be quite honest."

SPEAKING OUT - An interview with Craig Bartmer

Speaking of the WTC 7

In my opinion changing the name from WTC 7 is an error.
WTC 7 is a solid connection to 9/11
building 7 is nondescript, there are other complexes that have a building 7.
I think the movement will lose people on the fringe that only know it as WTC 7.

The Port of NY & NJ Authority owned the other 6 Building in the World Trade Center complex.
Mr. Silverstein is involved with the ownership of WTC 7.

Does anybody know the name of the entity that owns the structure? The Port Authority of NY & NJ owns the land.

Does anyone have any information concerning any insurance claims filed for WTC 7. It was left out of the legal stuff with the other 6 buildings ?
