Those cops were using far too much force for that situation! They should all be fired & the sued for police brutality & assault!
The cop swinging the telescoping steel baton is especially nuts! That weapon can be lethal if someone is struck in the head.

This is a clear case of thievery on part of the police officer who grabbed it out of the owner's hands. A police brutality law firm will easily handle the criminal count of robbery, and there are plenty of lawyers in NYC.
