NIST did have "some preliminary hypotheses" on 7 WTC, Dr. Sunder said. "We are studying the horizontal movement east to west, internal to the structure, on the fifth to seventh floors." Then Dr. Sunder paused. "But truthfully, I don't really know. We've had trouble getting a handle on Building No. 7."
6 years later they dont even know. Look at this site its also got quotes from a swiss structural engineer that its a CD. This info belongs in Loose Change final cut.

WTC 7 - NIST report
Yes, you are right. Apparently the building came down with controlled demolition. Larry Silverstein even used the term "pull" in a PBS special.
The State of New York has a website at
http://www.ins.state.ny.us/fdbroch2.htm which encourages people to report suspected insurance fraud. The telephone number is 1-888-FRAUDNY.
The construction of the new WTC 7 is complete enough for the rental agent to sign leases with an estimated move in date.
The question is "Where did Mr. Silverstein get the funds to build the replacement ?"
I haven't been able to find the existence of any insurance claim filed for that building. Mr. Silverstein had already owned that building before he leased the rest of the WYC complex.
The explanation in the Court documents is the same that the Official Commission Report that was published 3 years after the claim was filed.
