Never has read much of what I've written or Mel would know, while I appreciate LC, and it worked for me, I'm with Ruppert reguarding the use of physical evidence--it can be used best in court by those who have the most money. I would push 911 Press for Truth as a first movie to the uninitiated.
Also Mel is unfamiliar with my belief that we need a revolutionary change in how money works as well as a return to domestic manufacturing and building local self sustaining economies to have a hope in hell of surviving the global economic collpase these bastards are setting us up for--if it comes to that. I believe prevention IS the best medicine.
But I don't usually feel the need to elaborate in detail(BTW-the above in not a complete list) at 911Blogger which is primarily focused on 911, who did it, how they did it, and how to hold said persons accountable. But just for Mel, and others who imply the totality of my world view in one word, I'll sign off :
Impeachment,--and criminal croceedings against any and all culpable before and after the fact in 911.
Accountability,--involving a new investigation, UNDER OATH, of any and all parties involed with fines and/or prison terms where appropriate.
A better world--a living wage, health care, alternative energy, local manufacturing, including the abolition of NAFTA, GATT and the WTO, and the return to the commintment of a sustainable economy measured by Jane and Joe Smith, not Wall Street profits.

Those are all great (direct) quotes from M. Ruppert's Rubicon book. I read it a week or two after it was released, and while I did enjoy it (as much as a person can enjoy subject matter of this type), I do have to say that I got suckered big time on the purchase. I ordered it directly from copvcia with international shipping to Canada, and he (or whoever was in charge of that sort of thing) suckered me into paying a HUGE shipping insurance fee because "books were disappearing at the border". Yup, that's what they told me, and I foolishly believed it.
I am now MUCH more savy when it comes to evaluating anything 9/11, including stuff written by people on my "side".
Nope, I just have a good bullshait detector.
And if you want to get *your* cred back, Jenny, you need to RIGHT NOW state that when recommending "Loose Change" to anyone, you also give provide the caveat that it contains ERRORS, and point them to the appropriate web site that points out the errors very clearly.
Either that, or give the poor souls who've watched it at your urging a way to recover their dignity after the inevitable "but, but, but" they'll have to do when they start spouting some of LC's more obvious mis-info at people in the business of making them feel like they're wearing a tin-foil hat.

If the discussion of what we are prepared to do is not for the here and now, then when? Are we going to wait for a societal melt-down first(yes, I realize that this is likely being over-dramatic, but sometimes one needs to speak in extremes to arrive at a moderate conclusion)? I'm fairly certain that chaos is NOT what I want to have happen, because those of us without guns will be at the losing end of the field, regardless of whether or not we're the better team.

It seems, if we as any number of people here can in fact effect a change... some range between bloody and bloodless is our scope of possibilities.
In the blood-LESS direction of discussions is the impeachment track. Something I do admit is a long shot and very difficult maze to navigate for acceptable results. However, by continuing to demand this route, We demonstrate our commitment to peaceful means... redress of grievances, accountability, and due process. If we fail at sticking to this means, or are otherwise prohibited from seeking this course... then only more violence and spilt blood become inevitable.
When talking about blood and violence (which as you suggest there may not be a better time or place), then I'll simply illustrate one possible scenario and invite you to use you own imagination to fill in the blanks describing a hell on earth:
For any number of asinine rationales cooked up by the criminal war gang running foreign-and-domestic-policy-by-hand-job... pretend some itchy group or nation sparks a run on dumping dollar holdings. American pay-rolls, grocery chains, and bank accounts experience unsatisfactory irregularity and disappointment... to put it mildly. There are a number of triggers for such a disruption... yet I will not here be so bold to list as if I'm an expert, as many have blazed the subject better than I... so just pretend for a moment.
If there was such a disruption... even just the limited pockets of "rowdy disorder" in streets, or the grocery checkout line... if the detention camps come into play... than galvanizing between Authority and homeowner-guns might not be far behind. I think you and I can agree this is a worrying concern in modern America. Yes, no?
Food chain disruption, banking trouble, pitch forks in the streets... people languishing outside the White House with nooses and pikes... it's not that far into the realm of possibilities. Just consider the history of stranger human behavior.
So a months supply of rice, beans and water filters HAS become something of a fad for "truthers" (and many other people just thinking themselves as pragmatic and prepared... this has little to do with "paranoia"). Private gun sales HAVE been on the rise these past several years, just as common crime rates has fallen or remained flat. My guess, is that People know something strange is a-foot.
Ironically, it does not matter if a large part of these gun sales were originally intended for "The Swarthy Freedom Hater hiding under every bed", as FOX News may have us believe... these same guns (and I do actually have faith that the individual owners will make the right choice in such a development) could be instrumental should We the People determine Who exactly IS the real freedom-hater hiding under every bed (remember how domestic surveillance seemed like such a good idea at the time?).
It seems there are many ways I would prefer to seek bloodless means to fixing our broken government, corporate practices and economic structures... but the bloody ones I trust will come surprisingly natural if or when such measures become inescapable. That is what I meant about another time and place... I am hear to seek remedy through pen and ink, key board and monitor. With luck and better fortune, We the People may have one of the most extraordinary chances to create a bloodless revolution in thought and deed, by bringing to bare this powerful internet (so long as We still have it), and the examples and lessons of so many civil rights and peaceful efforts to improve the human condition before us.
Striving for the bloodless revolution is the enlightened way. A million years or animalistic survival instincts are your birth right... but wiser humanity may wish to save that for last.

I agree--you're worried about something, be proactive about it.
I've found my physical strength(amateur powerlifter) to be more than enough in most scrapes--in fact the shoulders and biceps are a great deterent when accompanied by "agressive" friendliness: "Excuse me, SIR, can I help you with something?"(said to disruptive or suspicious person of your choice begging to have you call 911)--but I'm the first to admit sometimes you need a distance weapon. I've been putting it off--got plenty of blades and pointy things--but I should get something just in case.

You are right of course, and wrong!
If there be no impeachment, then neither then will the real perps be caught. Chances are the official version will still hold, even if "everybody knows it doesn't". Nobody will ever be brought to justice, and 9/11 will still not be put right.
Whoever the real perps are, someone has to be held accountable. If the apparatus of the State protects their identities, then it's surely a case of next man up, the one responsible for allowing the thing to be secret who must ultimately be responsible. If he/she is also protected, the finger of blame must continue upward.
At the end of the day, even if butter would not melt in Mr Bush's mouth, the buck stops there... as you Americans would say.

I brought up 9/11 Truth at both Thanksgiving and Christmas, matter of fact it is topic #1 just about everywhere I go.
On Thanksgiving it came up in a round about way and I ended up sending a dinner guest (a minister) home with DRG's New Pearl Harbor, still waiting to hear back.
On Christmas, my former sister-in-law (an architect) seemed to think the government story was ok for the Twin Towers, but expressed doubt about WTC 7. I didn't have much time to make my points as my sister has a very low tolerance for the subject (she freaks out), but I did send my former sister-in-law away with 3 dvd's (Press for Truth, Myth and Reality and 9/11 Mysteries), hopefully she'll watch at least PFT and want to see the rest. I'm sure I'll hear back. Two of my 20 something nephews are very hard sells, one totally buys the incompetence theory, but I'm sure both will come around in time.
I'm about to make some 9/11 Truth squad shirts and sweatshirts to wear almost constantly when I go out. I'm like a 9/11 Truth monk, LOL.

Every video of a Griffin presentation I've seen where he's asked during Q&A about the war games, he's said he hasn't done any research on that and thus can't comment. But he's all about promoting a "NORAD standdown".
It's not alot of research to do for a full time 911 researcher, HERE'S A SUMMARY, let's see DRG finally have something more meaningful to say about the war games which had most of the fighter planes relocated out of the NorthEast in advance of 911, then had the remainder running around chasing false/inserted radar blips. I see no reason not to assume that Mark Roberts is not someone like me, an American who thinks that the 9/11 conspiracy theory is so bad for his country that he spends time fighting against it, without pay or direction from anything other than his conscience. We just happen to differ on which conspiracy theory is wrong -- I say it's the government's.
That doesn't settle what really happened, nor should the burden of proof be on citizens to rebut a patently absurd story by their employees in government, but arguing with Mr. Roberts may help lead to the truth. It's kind of like adversarial due process -- it can help you by showing you that certain lines of inquiry are a dead end. Free speech is the same. Accusations of shill-hood are not -- those are what are hurting our inquiries, not challenges on the facts.
Ultimately, who cares if he is a spook? Let him argue. It helps point out strengths and weaknesses in explanations of the events of 9/11. If he is not telling the truth, show why , and educate readers here. If you find he is telling the truth, then so be it. Adjust your thinking on the issues. Just because an aspect of your theory is wrong does not mean that the government's theory is right. Not by a long shot.
Good example is my challenge to Mr. Roberts to show that Garcia's paper does not assume what it purports to prove. I am satisfied that he cannot answer that. If he could have, I would have adjusted my thinking.

I completely agree with you that it helps you sharpen your thinking and examine your facts, always a good thing.
Our Mr. Roberts, OTOH, does not debate in an honest way and shows no signs of intellectual integrity. He simply uses rhetoric to steer the "debate" to his preferred talking points. He carefully, and sometimes carelessly, twists facts and manipulates language (tortures it, often) in a usually transparent attempt to make his points.
Please note that he NEVER answers anyone's questions (other than telling us what his day job is, LOL), that he regularly misstates facts and/or changes the subject away from one he has no desire to discuss. While he has a certain amount of skill with rhetoric, he clearly prefers to engage people verbally (and one-on-one) where his rhetorical tricks are much more effective. His primary modus operandi is to engage someone and then quickly steer the dialogue to his primary talking points. He demonstrates no real grasp of all the facts or the underlying physics necessary to honestly discuss anything meaningful and thus it really is almost a complete waste of time to engage with him, unless it is to counter the active disinformation he avidly spreads.
I would welcome an honest give-and-take with someone that has a thorough knowledge of the facts, can debate logically and civilly, and has well-reasoned positions in opposition to my own. I have engaged people in this type of discourse for over 30 years and it is one of my favorite things to do. Life is learning and I prefer the Socratic method.

I missed your reply. I can see what you're saying. I was just expressing my concern that accusations of disinformation are not productive, and it sounded like you were accusing Roberts of being in cahoots with the perpetrators. I think disinformation is best addressed by refuting the arguments, if there are arguments to refute, or just ignoring it there are not. If they themselves out to be a disbeliever in the official story, then I would end with a gentle admonition that they should be careful about making claims that can't be backed up. I realize it's hard, because you can get sucked in to an endless debate with someone who may not be interested in a genuine debate.

5. A stunning "airplane crash refresher course" was taking place near the pentagon just before the plane crashed at the pentagon. This one's a beauty.

Seeing smoke rising from the side of the building and patients staggering out, he radios the clinic: ‘You need to initiate MASCAL right now! We have mass casualties! I need medical assets to the courtyard! … ‘The saving grace to our efforts was the two MASCAL exercises we previously had conducted. ... Our scenario for both MASCALS was a plane flying into the Pentagon courtyard.’”
6. CIA was running a drill involving crashing a plane into a building on 9/11.
7. FEMA was in position in New York the day before 9/11 and was involved in the cleanup.
This is just speculation but:
War games in the past have used live-fly “simulated hijackings” targeting the pentagon and World Trade Center. It is very possible that this is exactly what happened on 9/11. In other words the “exercise” became “real-life” with empty, remote controlled planes.
It is also possible that they used planes with the passengers on them, but flew them with remote control technology as has been done in previous drills. It sounds outrageous, but this has been done and documented in the past.
Who had the power to organize all of these war games? This power was specifically given to Dick Cheney in a press release by the President on May 8, 2001.

Arabesque, I repeat: NEADS ran no war games or hijacking drills on 9/11. If you believe different, show your evidence. Mike Ruppert's opinions are not evidence. Of his 7 points listed above only one has the slightest shred of truth to it: number 6. As I noted above, the NRO ran a disaster-preparedness exercise on 9/11 to test evacuation and medical procedures in the event of an accidental small plane crash.
Why in the world do you people in the "truth movement" not only tolerate, but celebrate, morons who profit by lying about 9/11?

What we all need to know about
the 9/11 Truth movement is that we are all leaders in this and that as long as we keep that in mind we can never be led away from our mission of getting new, complete, comprehensive and independent investigations and then bringing the real perps to justice.
No one who veers away from this path will remain at the front of the 9/11 Truth parade. A parade, btw, that is growing and coming to towns and cities across America this spring. A parade that will continue after 9/11 Truth breaks and will lead the 2nd American Revolution and the restoration of the grassroots democracy our forefathers intended.
