Ron Paul Considers Run for President

Ron Paul Considers Run for President Maverick Republican Congressman Ron Paul is eyeing a bigger office. Paul, whose district includes Galveston County, has formed an exploratory committee to run for president. Paul, who ran for president on the Libertarian ticket in 1988, plans to seek the Republican nomination in 2008. Paul filed incorporation papers in Texas on Thursday to create a presidential exploratory committee that allows him and his supporters to collect money on behalf of his bid. Kent Snyder, the chairman of Paul’s exploratory committee and a former staffer on Paul’s Libertarian campaign, said the congressman knows he’s a long shot. “There’s no question that it’s an uphill battle, and that Dr. Paul is an underdog,” Snyder said. “But we think it’s well worth doing and we’ll let the voters decide.” full article

— George W. Bush - State Of The Union Address - January 29th, 2002

I love her, but...

....she's too polarizing to be on the ticket...put her on the cabinet...

Would be a great replacement for Condi.

Would be nice if we could get someone who would pull California or New York votes.

Paul need to write a manifesto.... he needs to lay down his plan to let people know what's up and how he intends to bring about change.

Honesty will will this fight.... we can beat the attacks by the MSM

Speaking of Condi: Wayne Madsen Reports

January 12, 2007 -- Rice beats record.

After Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice's performance before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee yesterday, it appears she has broken a record. During Rice's testimony, more crap passed through the gap in her teeth than passed through New York City's 14 publicly-owned sewage treatment plants in 2006.

He could publish a collection....

....of his radio addresses....Jack Blood is always playing them in breaks on his radio program...

McKinney for Atty General!

She'll find out where the missing trillions are and then some. Hey people, there's plenty of time to have a 9/11 Truth ticket--let's make this happen!

how about making Russ

how about making Russ Feingold his running mate? did you notice he was the only Democratic Senator(as usual) to demand answers about the recent news that the government can open our mail? as usual, he was the only democrat to go there. only guy to vote against the Patriot Act the first time around. called for a censure of Bush and was abandoned by his party again. always sticks up for civil liberties. only Senator calling on Congress to use the power of the purse to end the war in Iraq. for a Senator, hes shown some real spine.

I agree...Feingold has often stood alone for what is right....

...he's one of the few good guys....wish he'd gone farther, but it's got to be tough to be standing out there all by himself...

I still remember his fellow Democrats (I especially remember Kerry) just kind of smirking in a condescending way when Feingold got up there to make his passionate censure speech. Disgusting.

I hope he runs regardless.

sadly, Feingold already

sadly, Feingold already dropped out of the race.

Dear Mr. Paul!

please do so! Take the money issue to the front, like once Andrew Johnson did. You know you'll get elected- and we only have to make it clear that we will not tolerate your assasination or any other fear mongering attempts by the moneychangers!

Webster Tarpley wants Truthers to....

....inundate New Hampshire prior to that state's crucial first primary, to challenge candidates and educate voters about 9/11 Truth....

Now we'll have a candidate to support before we get there!

Ron Paul: Next President Of

Ron Paul: Next President Of The USA?
Texas Congressman enjoys support across political spectrum, anti-war pro-freedom hero represents America's last hope
Ron Paul's office has confirmed reports that the Texas Congressman is set to run for the 2008 Presidency. Paul unites opposition to the war and the police state at home across the entire political spectrum and in contrast to the current gaggle of criminals running the White House, represents everything that America truly stands for. A gargantuan effort in support of Ron Paul needs to be mobilized now to prevent Americans from being hoodwinked once again into electing a different puppet of the same dark establishment in 2008.

Ron Paul voted against the Patriot Act, opposes the draft, advocates the abolition of the income tax, urges the re-introduction of the gold standard, and stands against initiatives to strip the U.S. of its sovereignty such as CAFTA and the FTAA.

From reforming Marijuana laws to supporting an unregulated Internet, to supporting the 2nd amendment, Ron Paul hits home with keystone populist issues across the board.

hacking the electronic

hacking the electronic voting machines to elect ron paul---

a graceful and beautiful america
for all the regular people of the world

Sounds good. But abolishing

Sounds good. But abolishing the income tax and Federal Reserve as well as switching to the gold standard are fairly controversial goals. I am not sure myself how those actions would affect the economy.

The economy and the dollar are on the ropes as it is.... there is something that we can do..... it may sting at first but in the end we will soar once again.....

Whatever is done will be in our best interest..... start buying silver and gold and you will be just fine

Can you imagine the irony...

Of a Republican restoring America's good name?

"We've been offered a unique opportunity and we must not let this moment pass."

— George W. Bush - State Of The Union Address - January 29th, 2002

Not really. There are

Not really. There are Republicans of great integrity, and really slimy Democrats.

Come On

Even though I am a Ron Paul fan. Everyone knows Hillary will be our next dictator. I am surprised that Paul does not know. Maybe he is running to bring focus on issues.

Down with the 2 party dictatorship!
