Help Raise Money for Disabled 9/11 First Responders

A few weeks ago we posted a blog entry by Jon Gold entitled If You Want Something Done Right.... In that entry Jon called for all of us to chip in to help out disabled first responders. I wanted to reiterate the need for us all to help support those who are currently without help from the deadly dust generated from the destruction of the twin towers and WTC7.

So far we have raised just over $1,400 of the $5,000 goal. With the help of the community we can most assuredly meet, and then beat, this goal by the February 3rd deadline. I am asking for the help of everyone in the community in spreading this donation drive across the web, through workplaces, and onto the street - we all should agree that those disabled and unable to work from 9/11 deserve our help.

The money raised from this fund raiser will be split between the Feal Good Foundation and the Gear Up Foundation. The donations will be given on behalf of those who contribute to this fund raiser, not on behalf of this website, or by it's organizer Jon Gold. Money will be collected until the deadline of February 3rd, at which point the money will be donated - whether we have met the goal of $5,000 or not. If you would feel more comfortable donating directly to the organizations instead please do so via the links above, but please email Jon Gold a receipt of your donation so that we might include it in our grand total.

By clicking on the '<> Copy' tab in the ChipIn widget above you can get the html necessary to paste this fund raiser onto your personal blog, myspace pages, and elsewhere. Likewise you can spread the direct link of this article as well. If you have the ability to help this cause succeed please do. Finally, please help us out and digg this article.

Please chip in if you can, and please help us spread word of this fund raiser.

fealgood foundation thanks everyone

i wish to thank mr.gold,dz,and everyone involved in helping raise money for 9/11 responders.i am humbled and reminded that there are still great americans who care about the sick and dying heroes of 9/11.the last couple of days have been hard on the 9/11 community with the passing of another hero.NYPD officer Cesar Borja's death will not go in vain.we at the fealgood foundation will present a check for $500 at his wake on friday and another check next week.with 3 kids and a family left behind his wife will have a up hill fight to maintain just the daily bills.everyone on my board who i helped after 9/11 lives on ssi and workmens comp, but now help me serve the 9/11 community, while we suffer our selves.the beautiful thing about this is that we have nothing, but just like 9/11,we gave everything we have.i hope through mr.gold and others this becomes contaigous, and more and more great americans spread awareness, educated those who have no idea, and continue to raise funds to help the heroes of 9/11.4 years ago i took this on and dedicated my life to advocating, helping and assisting these brave souls.there is more sad news and bad news then good.but today mr gold,dz and all you great people have put a smile on my face.you have showered me with love and support, and in return i promise to continue to serve and be a pain in our federal goverments ass until 9/11 heroes are treated with respect, and dignity.and most of all the just compensation they deserve.in the coming months i will be putting together a large benefit concert to start raising money for treatment,so not only will they get monitored, but also treated for cancer and other 9/11 related diseases.together we can all make a difference, united we can all stand up to our government, and with the goodness in each ofwe can achieve our goals, weather its the truth about 9/11 that day,or why they are letting our heroes die.god bless you all.sincerely john feal 9/11 responder/advocate/founder of the fealgood foundation

Pitch in and help the men

Pitch in and help the men who went back to the pile day after day to find the fallen.

The first responders came in our time of need, now we should return the favor.

If you run a 9/11 site or blog, add the HTML given in the widget along with a link to this posting.

Video

Check out the following video of the collapse of the south tower. The stuff that gathers on the camera lens is some of what entered the lungs of our brave first responders.

Thanks for the reminder

I'm waiting for a paycheck at the end of the month.

The Eleventh Day of Every Month

NY Daily News did a series of articles on WTC sickness

They rallied for New York and America in the terrible hours after the World Trade Center collapsed - and ever since, thousands have paid with their health. Some have given their lives. The Daily News told their stories in a seven-part editorial series that spurred the city health department to release guidlines on spotting and treating WTC-related illnesses.

sounds like a good number to donate... I might just copy that..

I posted this on facebook (temple 911 truth) and on my myspace...
hopefully it gets spread around this week.

I also posted it on the "WE REMEMBER SEPTEMBER 11TH" facebook group, and had to smack around a guy who thought the deaths of the workers was "insignificant"...sickening..
