"9/11 Mysteries" is a film that has come along at the right time to supply a critical element to the ongoing debate over what really caused the collapses of the World Trade Center buildings.

I have recently been viewing some of the ongoing Internet debates surrounding various books and films on 9/11. A recent debate involving two passionate devotees of opposing views ultimately turned on "my experts are better than your experts."

The argument was fine-tuned at one point on whether one college professor was sufficiently "peer reviewed" and how much criticism was generated within the ranks of his colleagues for his opinions.

"9/11 Mysteries" invokes a breath of fresh air into the ongoing debate. This is perhaps an ironic way of stating the point in view of the difficulty of breathing at all at Ground Zero, but this has been accomplished with this brilliantly revealing documentary, and for a fundamental reason.

The term used in court trials that has been proven most effective in winning over juries is that of "percipient witnesses." The American Heritage Dictionary defines percipient as having the power of perceiving. This element is precisely what is needed in the ongoing 9/11 debate.

The steady u-turns away from confronting this critical element is what prompted the restlessness and boos from the families of victims at hearings conducted by the official 9/11 Commission.

The Commission's persistent bobbing and weaving away from the nitty-gritty of what occurred that unforgettable day is what has prompted a savvy Washington area viewer of current political events as Amazon reviewer Robert Steele to state in his review of "9/11 Mysteries" that the 9/11 Commission Report constitutes "a whitewash" and is "actually criminal in its negligence."

Those are strong words, but the severity of the entire pattern of events leading up to the Commission's final report justifies harsh conclusions.

For instance, after the greatest tragedy of its kind in U.S. history it would be considered a "no brainer" for a Commission to be immediately established to determine what went wrong with an eye toward correcting any actions or failures to act that made the nation vulnerable to such attacks along with an eye toward punishing perpetrators.

Remember what happened? Actually nothing. George W. Bush and Dick Cheney initially stonewalled against such an investigation. The threadbare reason advanced was that such an investigation would distract and detract from the advancing effort to fight terrorism in the U.S. and globally.

Does this make sense? After such calamities occur in New York City the answer is to ignore those events and never investigate them, all in the interest of fighting prospective future terrorism.

If an enemy surfaces and engages in a method of attack the answer is to skip past that initial attack and not investigate it because doing so will only distract from future efforts to fight that enemy. In short, seek to thwart your enemy by not investigating the bloody devastation he unleashed. Does this so-called reasoning contain even a shred of logic?

So now "9/11 Mysteries" surfaces in the picture and provides that breath of fresh air into the debate. This film goes beyond the "gotcha" debates of "my experts are better than yours" by displaying the action right down there at Ground Zero from those, to use that term again, percipient witnesses.

What did the First Responders, those New York firefighters risking their lives to save others, have to say? What did those percipient witnesses among those who were fortunate to escape from the devastation alive as well as sidewalk witnesses have to say?

The one word that reverberated with steady and alarmed repetition among the ranks of the devastated and the responders was "explosion." Time and again, from the lips of responders as well as other percipient witnesses, that word "explosion" was stated with unvarying repetition.

The film provides the best footage I have viewed to date of what actually happened. At one point we are asked to pay close attention and listen. Yes, the sounds appear very clearly. We need no experts to tell us, this is something we actually experience as we step into the shoes of individuals at Ground Zero on that fateful September 11.

Two major names that surface repeatedly in the film, and from whom hopefully much more will be heard in the steady pursuit of truth concerning 9/11 are William Rodriguez and Scott Forbes, both of whom worked at the World Trade Center. Rodriguez, in fact, was the last person to escape from the flaming wreckage alive.

The courageous Rodriguez not only speaks of a series of explosions he heard, consistent with the theory of building destruction through controlled demolition; he proceeds one step further and mentions the fear that enveloped him when he heard sounds of explosions beneath him in the basement.

It was confirmed with expert comments and other analysis that a ground floor explosion is consistent with accepted current controlled demolition practices. In the process of that discussion the "pancake theory" presented by the mainstream media as an explanation of how the 9/11 tragedies occurred is dismissed. Had that occurred Ground Zero would have been covered with far more debris.

Experts also debunk the accepted theory that the 9/11 tragedies occurred as a result of planes crashing into the buildings by explaining that the temperature of the buildings was no more than 1,100 degrees Fahrenheit. A cataclysm such as what occurred could only happen if the temperatures were at the 2,500-degree level.

There is much explanation as well over the survival of other large buildings that endured fires without collapsing. Footage is shown of a building in Spain that endured in the midst of a 20-hour fire.

Scott Forbes provides some of the most thought provoking analysis of the film. He explains how much activity was occurring in the building where he served as a supervisor. This hub of activity occurred just before 9/11 and was never explained. Forbes recounts that only because he was off on 9/11 did he survive. Instead he watched the tragic events from the window of his nearby apartment.

"9/11 Mysteries" is the first volume of a series in which producer Avatar will tackle other areas of continuing interest into the causes of the tragedies. After having witnessed this comprehensive effort, the sooner the better.

There is a reason to be intimately concerned about this issue - the survival of our nation.

The longer one explores the more ludicrous the official "rush to judgment" instant account becomes of mainstream media commentators and journalists reporting in lockstep the Bush Administration official explanation.

This "explanation" would have us believe that one man in an Afghanistan cave with a cell phone and computer reeked the devastating human tragedies in concert with a cadre of "aviators" who learned just enough to crash planes into buildings while, luckily for us, leaving letters and other sure fire identity clues around for us to find. Enough, that is, to render all of them instantly culpable.

Don't trust it

Hufschmid and his holocaust denial and relation to Ruppert Murdoch are just to much of a coincidence. Then this site called "screw 911 Mysteries" that teells all about how Hufschmid is a anti semite shows up after Brolin announces it on televission, so as to discredit it to a lot of people Get it? Also Brolin and Lynch are connected to the same Murdoch companies (through the the son, James) they draw people's attention to it then discredit it. Some of the facts are good, but stop relying on "heroes" and think for yourself. Look at the footage from that day and you will see what the real lie is.

Yes, there are many good 9/11 videos, books and papers. I own all of them. But for now, my #1 choice for the first video to show to newbies is 9/11 Mysteries. Sophia's calm narration, excellent editing, and brilliant choice of operatic music score has created a masterpiece. After the newbie recovers from the shock of this introductory video, they are eager to do more research and gain a more complete understanding of this epic crime against humanity.

I wrote Sofia a note of praise, immediately after seeing the film the week it was released, complimenting her profusely for the amazing job she did. Here's part of what she wrote in her response:

I have felt for a while that we needed a movie (tool) that was objective and gentle, and thus I dove into the deep water and made "911 Mysteries,"

This film is the best way for anyone to begin the process of thinking independently of the official explanation. Its non-confrontational, gentle approach informs the viewer, dislodges the lies, and encourages one to internally question what really happened based on facts instead of propaganda. I have already passed the link to 9/11 Mysteries along to hundreds of people.

RICO Action Filed Against Bush and Others in 911 Conspiracy

A maintenance worker on duty at the World Trade Center on 9/11 has filed a federal lawsuit against President George W. Bush and others in government, alleging they had prior knowledge or actively planned the attacks in order to launch wars against Afghanistan and Iraq.

The 237 page civil complaint, filed October 22, 2004, under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania on behalf of William Rodriguez by Philadelphia attorney Phillip J. Berg, claims President Bush and others engaged in racketeering activity in violation of 18 U.S.C. Section 1962c.

The complaint seeks relief for Rodriguez based on 13 counts, including Misprision of a Felony, Misprision of Treason, relief under the Anti Terrorism Act, relief under the War Crimes Act and relief for and from Crimes Against Humanity.

Berg said Tuesday from his Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania, law office that "once my client, Mr. Rodriguez, has had his day in court, President Bush and the other 55 named defendants will finally be held accountable for the deaths of 2,993 persons from 83 countries.

"My client is enthusiastic, articulate and was a hero on 9/11, rescuing more than 15 people before being one of the last persons to exit the North Tower before it collapsed," said Berg. "He will testify that he distinctly heard explosions prior to the airplanes striking the towers, providing further credibility to the theory that explosives were strategically placed in the buildings in order to bring about their collapse.

"My client will also testify that approximately three weeks prior to 9/11, he saw one of the hijackers walking through the basement area of the Towers."

Berg admits that Rodriguez's complaint will "shock and offend" many Americans, but he urges critics to first read the compelling allegations contained in the RICO complaint posted on his website at www.911forthetruth.com.

Berg, a former Deputy Attorney General of Pennsylvania for 8 years and long-time civil rights activist, previously filed a RICO claim against Bush and his cronies on behalf of 9/11 widow Ellen Mariani. Mariani has recently dropped her suit citing health concerns.

"The official story of what took place on 9/11 is a boldface lie," Berg strongly maintains. "Mr. Rodriguez does not pretend to have complete knowledge of the full and definitive account of how and by who the attacks were carried out. But the information reported by independent investigators and viewed in the light of common sense, as well as the law of physics, demonstrates that the 'Official Story,' examined closely, is not credible.

Berg is alarmed that the government's story contains glaring inconsistencies, implausibilities and inaccuracies. He also contends that the mainstream media has "dropped the ball" and purposely ignored studious analysis because to do so would reveal that the government is lying to us.

Berg claims he has sent out 2,600 press releases regarding the Rodriguez action and to date has not received one phone call from any major media outlet.

"They are basically ignoring the most important story in American history. It's a cover-up at all the highest levels, including the media conglomerates," said Berg. "However, it is interesting that I was recently contacted by Al Jazeera and will be doing an extensive interview on November 27 for an upcoming March 2005 special they are doing on our government's 9/11 cover-up."

Under special pleading rules for a federal RICO action, Berg is allowed to specifically plead facts showing a conspiracy among the defendants in the events before, during and after 9/11.

The detailed complaint shows a web of government conspiracy dating back to the late 1970's when Osama bin Laden was first put on the government payroll as a CIA operative to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan.

Berg claims this web of government deceit and financial backing continues all the way up to days just preceding 9/11 as witnesses will testify and records will reveal that the alleged hijackers were actually on the government payroll. The complaint goes on to say that the defendants deliberately concealed the fact that they had ample warnings of terrorist attacks and failed to act on them in order to carry out a full-blown war on terrorism as a means to justify their neo-conservative political goals.

Regarding 9/11 itself, the Rodriguez action aims to prove the following main points:

- The World Trade Center, as well as WTC Building #7, were destroyed by a controlled demolition, as clearly proven by the laws of physics and that this demolition could have only been an "inside job."

- An unprecedented nationwide "ground stop" order and stand down of NORAD must have had White House approval since it prevented even the military from flying, allowing the 9/11 attacks to proceed without interruption..

- The defendants conspired to and did allow the attacks to happen by delaying military interceptions of the hijacked planes in the following manner:

- Flight 11 (North Tower)and Flight 175(South Tower) could have been intercepted by fighter jets before collision, but were not due to an ordered "stand down" of NORAD defense systems on the morning in question. Evidence will also show that the flight patterns taken and the manner in which the sophisticated jets were handled could not have been accomplished by untrained, novice pilots with only box cutters. The evidence will further show that Flight 11 and Flight 175's transponders may have been dismantled by government insiders, making them both invisible on radar screens and thus allowing for the airplanes to be guided by a remote control into the WTC by a government system called Global Hawk.

- Flight 77 not only could have been intercepted by fighter jets but was allowed to fly uncontested a full 50 minutes before striking the Pentagon. Evidence will further show that the object that hit the Pentagon was not a commercial airliner but in fact a government guided missile.

- The crash of Flight 93 in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, raises serious additional questions which will show that it was actually shot down by government fighter jets and not brought down due to a terrorist struggle in the cockpit.

- FEMA, which quickly removed the WTC, Pentagon and Flight 93 debris before they could be independently examined, maintains a "Black-Op" shadow government designed to replace the elected government of the United States.

-The "insider trading" on American Airlines and other 9/11 affected stocks was subject to an ongoing cover-up to conceal the identities of those who had actual prior knowledge of the 9/11 attacks.

In Rodriguez's complaint, this "Black-Op"shadow government is referred to as the "Enterprise."

According to Berg, facts will eventually show the Enterprise and the named defendants are now engaged in an orchestrated dismantling of the American government resulting in martial law with those resisters placed in secret internment camps now under construction through the authority granted to FEMA. Camps have supposedly been constructed in 13 different locations under the Bush administration, including locations in Tooley Lake and Avon Lake California.

Since RICO allows for pleadings to show a conspiracy after-the-fact, the Rodriguez action further cites the 11th hour passage of the Patriot Act, Election Fraud in 2000 and 2004 as further evidence of the Enterprise's intentions to legally by-pass the U.S. Constitution and silence its critics.

"I am now on my way to Ohio and will be looking into the legal issues for the initiation of an election's fraud lawsuit there," said Berg. "It's the same people doing the same thing in order to satisfy their neo-conservative agenda.

"Some facts cannot be denied, " continues Berg. "Clearly 9/11 was carried out by more than one person. Therefore, by definition there was a conspiracy. It's just a matter of proving who all the players involved really are. What we are arguing is that the true conspirators have abused their enormous power and the trust of the American people to concoct and sell to the world a false conspiracy theory, to justify war and mass murder for economic and political gain. Since the neo-cons, allied with the President, said in almost so many words that they wished for a "New Pearl Harbor, " why then should we just categorically dismiss without proper investigation that they actually brought it about by planning 9/11?

"Why has there been no full and transparent investigation? Isn't it shocking that the federal government grabbed up all the evidence- not a trace of Flight 93 and the others - and that no police authority has conducted a true criminal investigation into 3,000 homicides? Instead of due process of law, government officials and the mass media have convicted Osama bin Laden and had names and photos of his 19 accomplices on the internet, literally within hours of the attacks.

"The truth is that there has been no definitive evidence that there were any Arabs on those planes and even less proof concerning the supposed identities of the alleged hijackers."

Berg notes that the recent 9/11 Commission report failed to include statements made by Rodriguez when he recently testified before the Commission. He said they simply rubber-stamped the "Official Story" put out by the government.

"The Commission is a collection of government and intelligence insiders," added Berg. "They failed to even mention the great body of evidence that suggests the "Official Story" cannot be true. From the facts, many contained in this complaint, it out to be obvious that there is a cover-up, but they simply admitted only to bureaucratic mistakes, which no one to date is being held accountable."

Rodriguez, proclaimed a hero in the media for risking his life to save many others after the 9/11 attacks, said he feels a "personal responsibility to find out the truth" no matter what it takes.

"Somebody has to take action to reveal the truth, " he said. "If suing President Bush is what I have to do to accomplish that, so be it."

Rodriguez added that the events of 9/11 are directly related to the deaths of thousands of people in two ongoing wars, attacks on Constitutional liberties in the United States, the abuse and torture of detainees around the world and the use by the United States of depleted uranium and other weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.

Berg said he has just completed serving notice on all the defendants listed in the lawsuit and is awaiting an Answer to be filed in federal court.

"I expect them to seek a Motion to Dismiss and block discovery and deposition testimony any way they can," said Berg.

Some of the other defendants in the lawsuit besides President Bush include the President's father, George H. Bush, Gov. Jeb Bush, Neil Mallon Bush, Marvin Bush, Vice President Cheney, Defense Secretary Rumsfeld, Secretary of State Colin Powell, Condoleeza Rice, resigned Attorney General John Ashcroft, Richard Perle and Paul Wolfowitz.

The fireball exploded onto numerous lower floors, including the 77th and 22nd; the West Street lobby level; and the B4 level, four stories below ground- Very strange indeed ,since there were only one elevator shaft (the 50A car) that went all the way to B6, the operator was inside, Mr. Griffith and he survived with a broken ankles. Q: have heard you mention numerous times that you were an experienced magician. When evidence suggests the bombs in the basement I can’t help but think it was a distractionary magic-trick like event. The planes crash near the top to captivate outsiders attention there, all while there are bombs going off down below. It reminds me of a magic wand exploding with sparks... the magician will do something crafty while the audience is distracted by the wand. Did experience in that field help you or give insight in any way to the events of 9/11?

Ginny Carr was attending a business meeting on the 36th floor of One Liberty Plaza, across the street from the WTC, and caught the entire first attack on tape.

A second explosion can be heard nine seconds after the crash. An explosion, or what sounded like an explosion. Is this surprising? "...sounded like some crash..." Again, how many of these people are reporting the same event(s)? we don't know.

So, what happened in the North Tower? Ask Willy Rodriguez.

Willy, a janitor who worked in the World Trade Center for 20 years was in sub level 1 when the North Tower was hit.

"And all of a sudden we heard boom! And I thought it was a generator that blew up in the basement. And I said to myself: Oh my God, I think that's the generator."

So, it was a difference between coming from the basement and coming from the top. And thats..., everybody started screaming. And a person comes running into the office saying: Explosion, explosion, explosion! He had his hands extended. And all the skin was falling from under his arm. All the way to the top of the fingertips. And it was hanging from both arms. Hanging and hanging. And then I looked at his face and he was missing parts of his face. And I said: What happened? What happened? And he said: The elevators, the elevators. And then..." Makes sense, an explosion traveling down the elevator shafts. "When I..., there were many explosions, and when I actually talked about those explosions, they said that:" Who are "they?""Well, there were so many kitchens in the building. They have probably those gas canisters. And I say: I don't believe that, because the building was a class A building. They have very strict guidelines of what you can put in a kitchen. And I really doubt it was gas. So, there was a lot of misconceptions of what happened on that day in terms of the explosions. Up to today, I haven't received an actual explanation about the different explosions that I heard on the upper floors. And on the way to the top."

Destruction in the sub-basements of both towers

There are also other reports of powerful explosions in the subbasements, some of them presented in 9/11 Mysteries. According to one interviewee, an entire machine shop had been reduced to rubble. When he ran below the South Tower using an underground passage, explosions occurred there as well. According to another eyewitness, a heavy hydraulic press had been destroyed in the underground. I don't think destruction like this can be explained by jet fuel dropping down an elevator shaft from hundreds of meters above.

And what does Mark Roberts think he can gain by twisting and distorting Rodriguez's statements?

You're telling me that Felipe David, who was standing IN FRONT of the elevator door, survived the blazing fireball that traveled down multiple floors and still had enough steam to burst into the lobby and knock panels of marble off the wall?

"Rodriguez does not claim that a bomb went off. He says that where that claim has been attributed to him, he has been misquoted. Don't believe me? Ask him."

Unbelievable

Rodriguez' account is entirely consistent with what actually happened in both towers: a jet fuel fireball traveled down the elevator shafts, blew out elevator doors, burned people, and damaged the building.

You're telling me that you believe that a jetliner can burn off 2/3 of its fuel in a huge fireball when it crashed, spread enough fuel on the floor it hits to get the majority of that floor burning, then the small amount of remaining fuel can travel through an elevator shaft as another fireball (burning the whole way yet somehow not running out of fuel) through 80 floors (1000 feet, over a football field's length) and blow out the elevator doors in the basement?

I enjoyed that alot! And i have to agree.There are alot of good 9/11 video's out there ,but in my opinion 9/11 Mysteries is the best.
This article would be a good thing to print out
and stapled to a few flyers.

Available for download?

Is 9/11 Mysteries available for download, and not just in Google's GVP format? I've searched but haven't found it yet.

And while I'm on the topic, what is your favorite software for burning video DVD's? I have VAIO Zone from Sony, but it froze when I tried to copy a video. (How Indeed... by Dem Bruce Lee Styles)

You can download any video on Google Video in .avi, .flv or .mp4 format. Just go to keepvid.com and enter the URL to the video's page and click download.
