Potential WTC7 Manslaughter Charges?

I previously wrote about the apparent death of Craig Miller from the demolition of WTC 7. Because the link for the information no longer works, and so the info cannot be verified, I dug a little deeper to try to confirm or refute the story.

As reported by What Really Happened, a rescue worker said:

"...I'm on top of building 7 just pulling out rubbish. Pulled out a Port Authority cop at about 11 o'clock in the morning..."

Craig Miller was technically not a Port Authority police officer, but a Secret Service Officer. Therefore, either the rescue worker erroneously believed that Officer Miller was a Port Authority officer, or two people were killed by the demolition of WTC7.

Additionally, U.S. Congressman Otter believed that Officer Miller died when WTC7 collapsed:

"Building 7 of the World Trade Center housed a number of Federal Government offices, including the IRS, the EEOC, the Defense Department, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and the New York field office of the United States Secret Service. The field office was destroyed on September 11 and, tragically, Master Special Officer Craig Miller lost his life when the building collapsed."

So several people -- an eyewitness rescue worker and a Congressman -- believed that someone died because of the demolition of WTC7 or rescue efforts in the debris. This, by itself, is not definitive proof.

This is a crucial issue because WTC7 was the most obvious demolition of all three of the buildings that were brought down on 9/11. If it can be confirmed that Officer Miller or a Port Authority officer died during the demolition of WTC7 or in subsequent rescue efforts in the rubble, then there might be a strong case of manslaughter against those who carried out the demolition.

Further research should be done on this issue to nail it down one way or the other.

Pull it and "pulling out"

A claim often heard by the "debunkers" is that the fire-fighters were "pulled" from Building 7.

Most agree that they were pulled from the building (while disagreeing with the meaning of the term "pull it" in the context in which it was said), but it begs the question:

Why were they pulled from the building? Who told them to get out? How did they know it was going to collapse?

Why would they think that when none of the other buildings had collapsed that were hit by the debris? Damaged yes, but not completely demolished.

This is a question we need to focus more energy on when the debunkers come back with their silly "pulling out" nonsense.

“We're an empire now, and when we act we create our own reality."

From jod911

The text of the NIST report shows what the defence would bring up in court.

BTW, I got this at a site that all of us should look at, namely jod911, the 'debunking' website supposedly comparable to the Journal of 911 Studies. Articles there supposedly clear up 9-11 disinfo spread by ... us!

We will need to read the whole article carefully and find the holes in it.

It is written by Mark Roberts. The following is a quote from NIST, in that article:

• The building had sustained damage from debris falling into the building, and they were not sure about the structural stability of the building.
• The building had large fires burning on at least six floors. Any one of these six fires would have been considered a large incident during normal FDNY operations.
• There was no water immediately available for fighting the fires.
• They didn’t have equipment, hose, standpipe kits, tools, and enough handie talkies for conducting operations inside the building.
At approximately, 2:30 p.m., FDNY officers decided to completely abandon WTC 7, and the final order was given to evacuate the site around the building. The order terminated the ongoing rescue operations at WTC 6 and on the rubble pile of WTC 1. Firefighters and other emergency responders were withdrawn from the WTC 7 area, and the building continued to burn. At approximately 5:20 p.m., some three hours after WTC 7 was abandoned the building experienced a catastrophic failure and collapsed.

He's good at what he does... that's distorting the facts

Aha… I see one of Mr. Robert’s straw-men here. But he does have a point about something. Silverstein didn’t say he pulled it—he said "they" pulled it.

Now the only question is who are “they”.

But I think Jim Hoffman is correct when he says we should focus on the physical evidence instead of this quote by Silverstein.

“We're an empire now, and when we act we create our own reality."

WTC 7 is obvious Cd

He's a total wanker and I can't believe you guys are acually giving him credibility here. WTC 7 is obviously CD and anyone who says otherwise is either in pathological denial, has a vested interest in propogating the official lie or doesn't understand fundamental construction techniques.
Also, reinterpreting Lucky Larry's words is just pathetic attempt to confuse fence sitters.
There is no way in a million years that building can collapse without controlled demolition.

More fiction from Mr. Roberts

Every report I've read or seen has stated that WTC 7 was not even on fire until around 4pm!

Where is the photographic or video evidence that shows large fires burning on at least six floors? What time were these videos and/or photos taken?

Additionally, the reports I've read state that the firefighters were removed from the building at around 11:30 am and the final site evacuation order was given at around 4:30pm.

To my knowledge the only "evidence" supporting these outrageous claims are a few quotes from clearly compromised senior FDNY officials. Yes, folks, we have to accept that certain members of the FDNY are telling outright lies and others are not telling everything they know (for whatever reasons).

The destruction of WTC 7 was clearly a classic, textbook controlled demolition. I think that it is very important that anytime anyone feels the need to cite obvious disinformation they should make every attempt to include the correct information along with it.

I think that it is definitely time that someone write a definitive book solely on WTC 7. It would also be very useful to have a dedicated film on this, most obvious, 9/11 smoking gun.

The truth shall set us free. Love is the only way forward.

Be well.

Hi LeftWright

You say, "it is very important that anytime anyone feels the need to cite obvious disinformation they should make every attempt to include the correct information along with it."

I was the one quoting Roberts' work. Surely it is disinformation. Not knowing much, I am not in a position to post corrections. But you started that process and for that I offer my thanks.

We've also been discussing the same topic here.

The reason I put this item up (twice now) is so that we all can look at it. I am as convinced as you that his analysis amounts to garbage. Why? Because buildings do not fall like that, without exacting preparation by experts. That fact is obvious to all of us here, and we hope eventually everywhere.

Yet, if this were a law court, and if this stuff ever gets to a law court, then the arguments that Roberts uses would be what prosecution would face. That is why I posted it.

If we have lawyers and engineers and the like among us, I would ask them to analyze the whole article in jod911, perhaps posting their analysis here. Leftwright makes good points for starting that process. One hopes that, eventually, all of these details will actually come under legal scruitiny. They will if we here do our part well.

BTW, I think it would be smart for us -- whoever is able -- to counter each article that appears at that so-called debunking website.

The only fires I've ever seen evidence of in WTC 7

was a big fire on the 7th floor on the east side of the building. A few isolated fires scattered around the north side and evidence of a fire that had burnt out on the west side. 6 floors on fire? Which 6 floors? The top, the middle, the bottom?

WTC 7 South Side

Here's the street that ran in front of WTC 7 on the south side of the building. This street is below the Plaza level. The sky bridge that connected WTC 7 to rest of the WTC is still suspended over the road. No signs of any raging fires down here?

I'm pretty certain...

That the building you can see on fire (behind WTC5) is WTC6 and NOT WTC7.

Checking the geography, Building 7 should be to the right of the damaged foot bridge (and not in this picture).

Below is a picture (post WTC7's demo job) further back from the opposite side of Vesey (Verizon Building in background)

Best wishes

Yes, the picture is of Vesey St looking west

Vesey ran under ground level in front of WTC 7. WTC 7 is just out of the picture to the right .

However if there was smoke and flames pouring from the lower part of WTC 7 they would certainly be visable in this shot. I didn't mean to imply otherwise. The only big fire is clearly on the south side of Vesey in WTC 6.

The picture also shows that there wasn't any big pieces of debris on the street. If there was a big gash down the middle of the building, we should see a big debris pile here.

I realised after I re-read it... nice pic

Agreed, the street looks pretty empty of debris considering both towers were down !!!

Best wishes

Fires in WTC 7

From what I've read, there were fires in it before 4 p.m. It was just reported to be on fire by CNN at that time.

It says in NIST's preliminary report (draft report) on WTC 7 that when firefighters left the building around noon, they saw a small fire somewhere. I'm puzzled why they didn't suppress it.

He must have been an arson too........

lighting fires and such......lololol.

Was He the one who wanted to debate here?

Mark Roberts, I think, is a tour guide in NY. Wanting to debate.
I think it was Mark who wanted to have anyone answer the Silverstein quote; " They made the decision to Pull it". He wanted to know who "they" was, I believe.
I guess I'll just have to read that jod9/11 to see if that is what He refers to, among other things, just to refresh My memory.

a better URL :-)

"this is a Google cache, as the main link has expired -- save the cached version before it also expires." (referring to the transcript containing Congressman Otter's statement)

Hmm ..... I'm sure you'll agree that a link to the Library of Congress might look even better. ;-)

There's also a link to a PDF version there, right below the main title.

Hope this is helpful. :-)
(my first comment here ;-) )

Why, yes it does.

Thank you!

I used the better link.

United States Secret Service
Based in Virginia, Craig Miller was on temporary assignment in New York on September 11, 2001. He was with the Special Services Division, which provides protection for vehicles carrying important officials and foreign dignitaries. Craig was in New York to provide federal-level security as part of the annual United Nations General Assembly.
Craig had joined the Secret Service in January of 2000. He was a highly decorated army veteran who served his country in Operation Desert Storm. Craig was awarded two Bronze Stars and the Kuwait Liberation Medal for his military service. He received extensive emergency response and medical training during and after his military career. Craig was in the right place at the right time to use his training. This American hero is believed to have played a vital role on 9/11 in the saving of thousands of lives at the cost

The true threat to liberty comes not from terrorists but from our political leaders whose natural inclination is to seize upon any excuse to diminish them.
~~ Walter Williams, Nightly Business Report, September 2001

Welcome to this site Dan R

And I agree with Casseia, that site is much better to review about Officer Miller, thanks Dan.
Now I remember about Mark Roberts; Him and Ron Wieck debated Dylan Avery and Jason Bermas on Ronnie's program in early January. I went to the Jod site and basically what they have and want to debate is all about the the destruction of the trade towers and building 7.I will say He does have a point about Silversteins qoute. Who is they? True, He did say "they" made the decision to pull it, and then We watched the building fall. I don't know if that debate between him and Alex Jones took place, but if it did, Alex didn't fare well in it.
Regardless, what remains is still lacking here; An investigation.

'Maybe the smartest thing to do...'

Not to get too hung up on the Silverstein quote, but since it's been raised, let's recall it in a bit more detail. He claims that when speaking with 'the fire commander,' HE said, '...maybe the smartest thing to do is pull it.' Followed by, 'and they made the decision to pull, and we watched the buildings collapse.' According to this, while the decision lay with ['them'], he--by his own account--suggested and encouraged this decision to 'pull it'--arguably with the implication that his suggestion influenced them toward that decision.

Silverstein BS , Dead End argument

Silverstein's character and credibility has already been demonstrably crushed by the clear cut evidence of insurance fraud and total lack of standard investigatory procedures at the WTC site during and after 9/11/01.
Why are we dwelling on what that bastard LIAR said?
It doesn't matter what Silverstein said.
In court, any testimony from Silverstein could be easily discredited or steered since it's much easier to prove that he is a LIAR (much like Mark Roberts/Ferguson) according to the witness testimony of those who heard, saw, and ran from the 7WTC demolition aswell as the Twins' demolitions on that day.
Let's stop wasting time on this 'pull it' nit picking and let's focus on organizing more protests in downtown NYC and waking up more people to the information and EVIDENCE.

For what it's worth

This is what's in Wikipedia about miller

Secret Service involvement in rescue attempts during 9/11

The Secret Service New York City Field office was located at 7 World Trade Center. Immediately after the attacks, Special Agents and other Secret Service employees stationed at the New York Field office were among the first to respond with first aid trauma kits. Sixty-seven Special Agents in New York City, at and near the New York Field Office, assisted local fire and Police rescue teams by helping to set up triage areas and evacuate people from the towers. One Secret Service employee, Master Special Officer Craig Miller, died during the rescue efforts.

I remember reading that his body was found under the rubble of WTC 7 and That he was listed has the only casualty in that building.

Three videos & an odd "cop" suggesting deaths in WTC 7

Check out the vids below. There's a white-striped-bluish-windowed building that seems to appear in the first two vids (somewhere I read a discussion about pinpointing this building near WTC 7), and there's this odd cop who's trying to get fire fighters to call their mom's and not to worry about a loud explosion in the second vid. In the last vid, this same odd cop makes odd comments suggesting knowledge of people getting killed in WTC 7.

Thanks PolarBear...

Not seen that 3rd Vid that you listed...

Good image of the footbridge from the WTC complex across Vesey to WTC7 (or what's left)

Cheers for that, best wishes
