Obama is in Denial Over 9/11 Government Complicity

An Infowars reader asked Barack Obama about 9/11. He gave a disappointing "mistakes were made" type answer:

Democrat Presidential frontrunner Senator Barack Obama has responded to a question posed by an Infowars reader regarding government complicity in the September 11th 2001 terrorist attacks.

Three months after the reader sent Obama a correspondence outlining her great concern that criminal elements of the government were directly complicit in the attacks, the Senator sent the following response via email, which was then forwarded to us:

Dear Penny:

Thank you for contacting me regarding your belief that the U.S. government was complicit in the terror attacks of September 11, 2001. I appreciate hearing your passionate views on this matter.

While I do not believe the U.S. government was complicit in the attacks, I do think it should be held accountable for the unacceptable mistakes it made in the run-up to that terrible day. The blunders that occurred prior to the 2001 attacks were inexcusable and often outrageous. The series of clear warnings about the potential use of hijacked planes as weapons is just one example of why the "surprise" of 9/11 should have been anticipated. In my view, proof of government complicity is not necessary when making the argument that the U.S. should accept some responsibility for what happened on 9/11.

Thank you again for writing.

Sincerely,
Barack Obama
United States Senator

Perhaps Obama's statement "proof of government complicity is not necessary when making the argument that the U.S. should accept some responsibility for what happened on 9/11" is a clue to his thinking. In other words, like most Democratic politicians, he may think that proving the Bush administration was incompetent will be enough to elect a Democratic president in 2008, and so that's as far as the inquiry should go.

However, what all of the Democrats have to understand is that bigger and bigger false flag attacks -- and the new wars and further destructions of Constitutional rights which they enable -- will be carried out unless the perpetrators of 9/11 are busted. If the school yard bully is not punished, he will grow up to be a brutal criminal.

We should carry on with the campaigns started by 911Truth.org, CongratulationsDemocratsNowDoYourJob.com, and others to demand that all 2008 candidates declare where they stand on 9/11, and whether they are willing to demand a new investigation, criminal prosecutions, etc.

If anyone wants to educate Obama to the true facts of government complicity, you can email him through this webpage or contact him here:

I wouldn't waste my time. He knows what happened on 9/11. They all do. He is a NWO puppet. GE owns him. Trust me on that one.

Gee!

maddog, I hope you're wrong but wouldn't be surprised if you're right! But even if it is a waste of time, I would still encourage everyone to write him and all other politicians who may not be aware of the hoax.
Not trying is the wrong way to go. Never give up! Our grandchildren's futures are in our hands today!
Perhaps Obama just needs to learn about building 7?

i find it exceedingly difficult to believe

That Obama doesnt know about building 7. All these people know exactly what went down that day. It's their JOB not to admit anything and to make us drag the truth of them if we can.

In the event that you aren't aware of it, there is a growing mass of public researchers who are accumulating a plethora of material supporting a new investigation into 9/11.
I personally have been researching for many years and realize that the number of websites on the topic is daunting.
To that end I have compiled a single page, encompassing most of the other sites with
( 739 and growing )links by story title, pertinent petitions and photographs which are mostly linked as well.

I do commend you highly on your Iraq position, and for that reason alone you have won favour among the flood of anti-Iraq proponents and set yourself distinctly apart from virtually everyone else running; and wisely, position yourself in advance as a frontrunner for the millions more people who are going to be anti-w/anti-Iraq in the near future. This Response looks like a template to me, no specifics or personal touch, that would mean they are probably quite a few of these letters floating around congress, I know I've written to Senators, Congressman, etc. I've never gotten a response, but maybe Obama thinks he needs to get his base up so he is responding.

We need to run our own candidate, Not a Bull Horn wielding activist, but a serious Federalist or Libertarian that can be trusted to investigate the true sources of international terrorism and find and prosecute those responsible for 9/11.

I think very few politicians

I think very few politicians would be able to even accept the possibility of the government being complicit in 9/11 because that - if true and it came out - would shake the foundations of America so profoundly, that all current politicians would lose their jobs.
At least they might be thinking this on an unconscious level.

The 'dog:

Sadly, I have to agree with maddog. These guys are all in the same game, from the same schools, they laugh at the "public". But I have a question for any foreigners reading this site: why hasn't any gov't. in Europe said "boo" about the 9/11 Truth Movement? Or have they? I go to alot of foreign press online, but even the "Tehran Times" doesn't mention the subject. Could all gov't.s be evil powermongers that know how useful it is to use "enemies" as a means of controlling your people? C'mon, Euros, I used to think you guys were the hope for the future, then your gov't.s just go along with "the Empire". Tell me, what's the word on the street in Rome, Berlin, Paris...hope its not the latest fashion trends. You Moslems, you are the targets of "the Big Lie", why don't I see comments here from "Ali" or "Mustafa"? I do see comments from UK, Germany, Finland(?). 9/11 is a lesson for the world, the nature of gov't.s, power, and humanity. I never felt too proud to be an American, but the 911 Truth Movement has made me see more clearly the idealism that this country was born out of. And now Hillary, Obama, Romney...What solution would Thomas Jefferson suggest?(Answer is in the Dec. of Independence).

C'mon, you non-Americans, help us here, or expect your nasty "leaders" to get away with murder as well.

Realpolitik + denial = inaction

I've written with or learned about the responses of a couple of Finnish politicians to this issue. I'd say the idea is just too much to even contemplate for average politicians. On the other hand, if a major politician said he disbelieves the official story of 9/11, I guess you can imagine what happened.

Our foreign minister expressed disapproval of the CIA renditions and was shunned by his U.S. counterpart, which raised a lot of discussion here.

I'm going to take the opposite argument

here although I gather a lot of negative responses. I'd like to point out three things

1) He responded to the question instead of ignoring it and his response is not dismissive. He agrees that there are many "blunders," that perhaps merit further investigation.

2) He is basing his statement on "government" and "official" accounts, none of which have confirmed an "inside job," though that is obviously the case. The woman who asked the question is taking into account all the evidence.

3) He is distinguishing between the "US government" and possible criminal elements. I also think its foolish to generally blame the "whole government," because the system can and does work. The proof is that we have been able to dig up so much information in the last several years and openly ask these questions, which in the USSR or Nazi Germany would have had someone summarily shot. We are not there yet thankfully, and I don't think we ever will be.

So while I think Obama should be more forthcoming and get on the record for continuing disclosure and investigation, I'm not completely turned off by his response either. It's a step in the right direction.

Reality got you down? Read the La Rochelle Times: http://www.rochelletimes.blogspot.com

Not really a step at all

'He agrees that there are many "blunders," that perhaps merit further investigation.'

Yaaaaaaaaawwwwwwnnn...did someone say something?

'Blunders'?! Sorry--same old same old! Once the completely-taken-by-surprise version of the official story began to disintegrate during the spring of 2002, with the belated coverage of prior warnings in the US media (the Rowley memo, etc.), the incompetent-negligent-blundering-inefficient-nincompoops version emerged as a fall-back. And ever since, it has functioned like the remaining hairs on the head of a man who's going bald and who persists in trying to comb them this way and that, convincing himself that they're still sufficient to keep anyone from noticing his increasingly exposed scalp. Obama's reply here is just the latest exercise in that endeavor.

A step in the right direction? This appears to me more like only appearing to take a step, while in reality winding right back in the same place.

the official comb over .. genius!

Here's a good question for all these candidates--Are you aware that bin Laden expert Prof. Bruce Lawrence of Duke University believes that the bin Laden confession video is a fake featuring a bin Laden look alike? Are yoiu aware of reports that it is pretty much an open secret that this video is a fraud, and that that is one reason why the FBI says it has no hard evidence linking bin Laden to 9/11? Does the fact that this administration seems to have been OK presentng this frqaud as legitimate evidence make you reconsider at all your own conviction that bin Laden was involved with 9/11? At what point, Senator, will you admit that you have been wrong? How many more people must die for a lie before you can bring yourself to level with the American people?

Obama is trying to run for President. He might be making a tactical decision to not come out for 9/11 Truth until he gets elected?? Regardless. What we can do is contact and educate his staff, so that as Dan Wallace says we can tackle them from the bottom up.

If we can't get to Obama, we can try to get to his staff etc.

I'm still supporting him for President regardless.

9/11 truth tells us, if nothing else, that the government we were raised to believe exists is a - myth -. We have so easily been led... usually by the Judas goats right into der schlachthaus. But led we have been. 9/11 awareness should lead alternatively, if one has not retreated into the safety of the "consensus trance", to the growing awareness that our democratic republic has been lost for many many years. The shell, institutions and illusions linger on. But the core, the shadow government, has become pure evil. We have to decide if we are truly willing to pay the price that contronting evil entails. Because if 9/11 truth ever gets to where it actually threatens the ptb.......

Right on.

It's "das Schlachthaus", btw.

Only heard part of it but, Ron Paul's interview with Alex today was darn good stuff.

The true threat to liberty comes not from terrorists but from our political leaders whose natural inclination is to seize upon any excuse to diminish them.
~~ Walter Williams, Nightly Business Report, September 2001

If you don't try you can't succeed. So I wrote him this letter:

Dear Mr. Obama –

I have been very impressed with your speeches and your natural confidence.  And, on many issues we agree.  I also believe you might have what it takes to unite our country again and really make a difference.  There has not been a presidential candidate with as much charisma since JFK.

However, I am very disappointed in your response to a letter that appeared on www.911blogger.com  written to you about the worst crime in the history of our country.  A crime that has never been thoroughly investigated.   A crime that could very well have been perpetrated by members of our own government.

Mr. Obama, certainly you have read other 9/11 truth letters so I am going to take a slightly different approach.  I believe your political future depends on it.

The 9/11 truth movement will not stop.  In fact, if you have been paying any attention to it at all in recent months, you will know that it is gaining momentum at a seemingly exponential rate.  There is talk of critical mass on 911blogger.com.

The “official story” is not even supported by the FBI yet you seem pretty comfortable with it.  That tells me you either haven’t researched it yourself or that you are purposely looking the other way.

If you haven’t already surfed the web for a few hours on the topic of 9/11 truth, then I urge you to do so and start here: http://www.911truth.org/. If you have, and still believe what you said in your letter, then so be it.

Sooner or later the mainstream media will be forced to publicize the 9/11 truth movement as more than just a bunch of conspiracy kooks.  The majority of Americans already doubt the official story – it won’t take much to turn the tide completely.

You see, sir, 3 steel structured buildings falling down in a single day – well the odds of that happening are slim to none.  I’m not going to try to convince you, look for yourself and see what the experts say http://www.911truth.org/article.php?story=20050827011535140.

Mr. Obama, sooner or later (and I believe sooner) the truth is going to come out.  Unless you take a stronger position soon towards reopening a real investigation on the events of 9/11, you will have been on the wrong side of the truth.

I urge you to reconsider your position in this grave matter.  Your political career depends on it.

Respectfully yours,

Kenneth F. Eichler

I view 911blogger.com as a site for - shall we say - more advanced truthers.  I could have picked any number of sites to offer to his attention - I always liked the way 911truth.org was organized with the section "New to 9-11 Research?".

Besides, I did put the www.911blogger.com link first.

Forget Obama--Kucinich is our only hope

Dennis Kucinich has a solid record, and he is at least "open" to 9/11 truth. He is the only Democratic candidate presenting a real alternative to the phonies being touted by the media on both sides. Check out his website at http://kucinich.us/ and join the forum.

letter to obama

I just wrote obama
Dear Mr. Obama,
I support your candidacy well over the other democratic candidacy and I hope that you are our next president. Since you are in this position I believe it is very important that you view all materials available about september 11th, including the film 911mysteries and 911 Press for truth http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYEMu48apIA , about the 911 families, as well as many books about the topic. If you are well informed on the topic I am sure you will agree that there are hundreds of facts which contradict the official story and merit a re-investigation into who was behind the murders committed on Sept 11th.
thank you,

Leaving aside for the moment

Leaving aside for the moment the question of what Obama does or doesn't know about the more damning evidence, what strikes me about his comment is this: he is acknowledging a SEVERE dereliction of duty on the part of the administrattion and that there has been no accountability demanded for the officials who bore responsibility..

Would you care to expand on that responsibility, Mr. Obama?

Taking your statement at face value for the moment, why, then, has this not been a pressing issue or strategy for you or your fellow congresspersons in your purported desire to stop the genocidal romp in the Middle East?  Why was this not the #1 issue in the 2004 presidential race, when the Chimp's entire campaign platform was the "lessons of 9/11" and his administration's alleged greater ability to deal with terrorist threats?  Why not in the 2006 campaigns?  Are you ever going to speak publicly about the limited conclusions you draw here, which have LIHOP implications and on their face demand a new 9/11 investigation?  (You are well aware that people have been prosecuted and court martialed for far less.)  If you and other Democrats believe even this tiny, tiny LHOP snippet, you were in a position to voice it strongly and prevent the Chimp's  reelection in 2004.  And if you think that the "attacks" could have been prevented with a more competent administration, one must draw different conclusions about the nature of terrorist threats in the U.S., the overblown rhetoric of which has allowed the Constitutional evisceration you claim to abhor.

If the Republicans had had a tenth of just what little you are acknolwedging here to use to derail a Democratic presidential candidate, it would have been covered in the media like the OJ trial on steroids.

* * *

He's never going to respond to a true MIHOP question in an honest, satisfactory way, but I'd like to see someone put some of these questions to him on the primary trail, using his own words from this letter...

The NWO does not want 9/11 as a voting issue

.. they will keep the war going in Iraq as a diversion as well as take advantage of every other opportunity to keep the truth hidden.

The truth movement needs to make re-opening the investigation a voting issue.
It is my belief that 9/11 would not have happened if George Bush was not appointed President in 2000.
The Pentagon and Shanksville were diversions for the real insurance fraud staged by the wealthy elitists involved with the advanced planning of clearing the World Trade Center Complex in NYC for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, as well as Mr. Silverstein and Mr. Frank Lowy.

It had been in the works since the first commercial flight guided by global positioning landed at Newark International Airport in September 1998. The Press Release is at http://www.panynj.gov/pr/127-98.html.
3 days after the scheduled first landing another Press Release announced "In Historic Shift, Port Authority puts World Trade Center on Market" http://www.panynj.gov/pr/133-98.html

The fraudulent real estate development project took time and money to plan, build the specialty aircraft that hit the towers, plan and plant the explosives and buy the politicians.

The problem came in 2000 when Bush lost Florida to Al Gore. They did some fancy legal gyrations and the Supreme Court appointed by his father was forced to repay the favors ruled in his favor.
Without that there would not have been a 9/11/01.
They could not buy Mr. Gore.

Good guy on the wrong team

Obama is the Hillary VP select.

I personally think that anything that remotely looks like a politician is going to have a tough time getting votes in 2008.

That being said, maybe they don't need actual votes and the whole election process is a complete sham.

I would gain great personal satisfaction jamming Ron Paul down the throats of the Oligarchs in 2008.

Time to show him some love. Alex Jones suggests that we make a donation to him of 199.11. He doesn't have to report it because it is below the 200 dollar threshold.

$9.11 a month for those of us on a budget would get the point across also.
