We're all conspiracy theorists at heart - Guy Smith

Prepare to be irritated, although I think this could backfire big time on the BBC. Under estimate us at your peril.

We're all conspiracy theorists at heart - bbc.co.uk

Why are conspiracy theories so popular? We may not always believe what we're told, but we still can't resist listening to them. Guy Smith, producer of 9/11: The Conspiracy Files, suggests the answer may lie deep within us all.

I admit it. If I'm being really honest, I can't deny that I'm a bit of a conspiracy theorist. Perhaps we all are.

It's easy to dismiss all conspiracy theories as "bunkum", but remember just occasionally they do turn out to be true. Remember Watergate? Iran-contra? Special Branch collusion with loyalist terrorists in Northern Ireland?

As Jim Fetzer, one of the leading 9/11 conspiracy theorists says, "Just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get you."

Wow

I had no idea there were people who believe planes didnt hit the twin towers. I had no idea, people thought people were abducted from flight 93. I had no idea people think the family members victims were in on it.

There crackpots, trying to make truthers look bad.

Planes DID Hit the buildings, whetever they were military planes, or flights 175 and 11, is a responsible debate. I believe they were under remote control.

I believe Flight 77 may have been show down in PA., Yes 77, Not 93. After they shot down Flight 77, they fired a missle into the pentagon. Flight 93 landed in clevland. Maybe flight 93 was melted down and shipped to china?? Maybe the passengers were taking to a concetration camp and killed?

No, none of the victims are in on it! Thats a crazy thing ot suggest!
