Brzezinski eviscerates Bushco, tries to warn world (world looks the other way)! "I think that our Iran policy is a train wreck in the making."
Senator Chris Dodd, here
This is astounding and I'm surprised it hasn't been covered more extensively here.
The "Mainstream Media" has IGNORED this. Gosh, I wonder why ....
For Zbigniew Brzezinski, in testifying before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, absolutely DESTROYED Bushco's web of lies regarding the "War on Terror", Iraq and Iran.
Not only that, he warns of consequences that are absolutely horrendous, and warns of possible actions by the Bush administration that are decidedly right up there with Operation Northwoods in their treachery and traitorousness ...
I'm just gonna quote this article here to get started:
Zbigniew Brzezinski, the man who masterminded the failed Nojeh Coup in 1980 to topple the current Iranian government, came out on February 1 to testify before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee (pdf file), blasting the Bush Administration's handling of the war.
He called the War on Terror a "mythical historical narrative" used to justify a "protracted and potentially expanding war," and accused them of trying to spread the conflict in Iraq to other parts of the Middle East by "deepening [a] quagmire eventually ranging across Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan."
Wow. He actually calls the whole Bushco bed of lies what it is -- a mythical historical narrative. He's not alone in this -- "The Power of Nightmares" did an excellent job on this --, but he's sure the first inside-the-beltway kinda guy I've seen do it.
But now check THIS out:
"A plausible scenario for a military collision with Iran involves Iraqi failure to meet the benchmarks; followed by accusations of Iranian responsibility for the failure; then by some provocation in Iraq or a terrorist act in the U.S. blamed on Iran..."
My jaw about hit the floor when I read that. He's actually saying that the U.S. might stage terrorist attacks inside the United States and blame it on Iran? Is that what he's saying? Or is he saying that there will be some insanely coincidental, convenient terrorist attack in the U.S. that Bushco will claim was done by Iran? It seems to me he's actually suggesting that Bushco is capable of, indeed is perhaps planning, an "Operation Northwoods" type of incident here in the U.S. For those who aren't familiar with "Operation Northwoods" let me quote from the wikipedia listing:
Operation Northwoods, or Northwoods, was a 1962 plan to generate U.S. public support for military action against the Cuban government of Fidel Castro, as part of the U.S. government's Operation Mongoose anti-Castro initiative. The plan, which was not implemented, called for various false flag actions, including simulated or real state-sponsored acts of terrorism (such as hijacked planes) on U.S. and Cuban soil. The plan was proposed by senior U.S. Department of Defense leaders, including the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lyman Louis Lemnitzer.
(snip)
The proposals included:
- Starting rumors about Cuba by using clandestine radios.
- Staging mock attacks, sabotages and riots at Guantanamo Bay and blaming it on Cuban forces.
- Firebombing and sinking an American ship at the Guantanamo Bay American military base—reminiscent of the USS Maine incident at Havana in 1898, which started the Spanish-American War—or destroy American aircraft and blame it on Cuban forces. (The document's first suggestion regarding the sinking of a U.S. ship is to blow up a manned ship and hence would result in U.S. Navy members being killed, with a secondary suggestion of possibly using an unmanned ship and fake funerals instead.)
- "Harassment of civil air, attacks on surface shipping and destruction of US military drone aircraft by MIG type planes would be useful as complementary actions."
- Destroying an unmanned drone masquerading as a commercial aircraft supposedly full of "college students off on a holiday". This proposal was the one supported by the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
- Staging a "terror campaign", including the "real or simulated" sinking of Cuban refugees:
- We could develop a Communist Cuban terror campaign in the Miami area, in other Florida cities and even in Washington. We could sink a boatload of Cubans enroute to Florida (real or simulated). We could foster attempts on lives of Cuban refugees in the United States even to the extent of wounding in instances to be widely publicized. Exploding a few plastic bombs in carefully chosen spots, the arrest of Cuban agents and the release of prepared documents substantiating Cuban involvement, also would be helpful in projecting the idea of an irresponsible government.
Sounds crazy, doesn't it? Yet Brzezinski is completely serious. Enough so that made an op-ed available to newspapers across the country. A few even published his ominous letter. It's a great read, I strongly recommend it.
This is also the subject of an hair-raising article by our own Democratic Party at Democrats.org.
They go into great detail about Brazinski's speech, as well as quotes from a speech by Republican Ron Paul:
Texas House Republican Ron Paul also had harsh words for the Bush Administration and Congress, giving an alarming speech before the US House of Representatives on January 11.
He accused them both of using "the talk of a troop surge and jobs program in Iraq" to "distract Americans from the very real possibility of an attack on Iran."
"Our growing naval presence in the region and our harsh rhetoric toward Iran are unsettling.
"Securing the Horn of Africa and sending Ethiopian troops into Somalia do not bode well for world peace.
"Yet these developments are almost totally ignored by Congress.
"Rumors are flying about when, not if, Iran will be bombed by either Israel or the U.S. - possibly with nuclear weapons.
"We should remember that Iran, like Iraq, is a third-world nation without a significant military.
"Nothing in history hints that she is likely to invade a neighboring country, let alone do anything to America or Israel.
"I am concerned, however, that a contrived Gulf of Tonkin- type incident may occur to gain popular support for an attack on Iran.
"Even if such an attack is carried out by Israel over U.S. objections, we will be politically and morally culpable since we provided the weapons and dollars to make it possible.
"Mr. Speaker, let's hope I'm wrong about this one."
The Democrats.org article also conveniently reminds us that Bushco had false-flag plans for Iraq:
Bush came up with the same plan for Iraq, to be used in case he wanted to garner more support for the legitimacy of a grossly illegitimate war, two months before the invasion of Iraq.
The plan is detailed in a leaked memo confirmed by both the Independent(3) and the Guardian(4), which is not contested by either the Bush or Blair Administrations.
One plot, among others, consisted of "flying U2 reconnaissance aircraft with fighter cover over Iraq, painted in UN colors" in the hopes that Saddam Hussein would have it shot down.
Of course he didn't need those -- his LIES did the trick.
Brzezinski reminds us that the same people who lied to us before are the ones lying to us now:
I am perplexed by the fact that major strategic decisions seem to be made within a very narrow circle of individuals—just a few, probably a handful, perhaps not more than the fingers on my hand.
And these are the individuals, all of whom but one, who made the original decision to go to war, and used the original justifications to go to war.
It's really ironic that one of Bush's most famously mangled lines was the one about "fool me once, shame on you ...."
Because it sure looks like he's about to fool the world twice.
And let's face it -- this time he's hardly fooling anybody. YET NOBODY IS STOPPING HIM, EVEN THOUGH THEY KNOW HE'S LYING.
We have to act before it's too late.
Yep...
Lots of good info here. It is time for us to start applying the lessons of 9/11 to try and avoid future repetitions. The more people who are exposed to the flase-flag idea, the harder it will be for the big guys to pull them off.
General Leonid Ivashov, former Chief of the Russian armed forces’ Staff, has another article with the same false-flag theme:

And another stating that international terrorism does not exist:
