Fire Chief Pete Ganci’s response is, “who the f___ told you that?”

This is very interesting. I was not aware of this. If you are not aware of this read it.

...."Zarrillo heads out to the fire command post, situated in front of 3 World Financial, the American Express Building, where he relays this message to several senior firefighters. He says, “OEM says the buildings are going to collapse; we need to get out.” (OEM is the Mayor’s Office of Emergency Management, which has its headquarters in WTC 7.) Fire Chief Pete Ganci’s response is, “who the f___ told you that?” Seconds later, they hear the noise of the South Tower as it collapses."

And it goes on:

"Others also appear to have been aware of the imminent danger. Fire Chief Joseph Pfeifer, who is at the command post in the lobby of the north tower, says, “Right before the south tower collapsed, I noticed a lot of people just left the lobby, and I heard we had a crew of all different people, high-level people in government, everybody was gone, almost like they had information that we didn’t have.” "

Guess they had to catch their flights to Offutt AFB.

"Air Force One landed at Offutt shortly before 3:00 p.m. At 3:06, Bush passed through security to the US Strategic Command Underground Command Center and was taken into an underground bunker designed to withstand a nuclear blast.

There, he held a teleconference call with Vice President Cheney, National Security Advisor Rice, Defense Secretary Rumsfeld, Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage, CIA Director Tenet, Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta, and others. The meeting lasted about an hour. Rice recalled that during the meeting, Tenet told Bush, “Sir, I believe it’s al-Qaeda. We’re doing the assessment but it looks like, it feels like, it smells like al-Qaeda.” "

Would be interesting to hear what Mineta recalls of this conference, anyway:

"As a side note, Warren Buffett, one of the richest people in the world, was hosting an unpublicized charity benefit inside the high security Offutt military base at 8:00 a.m. With him were business leaders and several executives from the World Trade Center, including Anne Tatlock of Fiduciary Trust Co. International, who likely would have died had it not been for the meeting. They watched a lot of the television coverage that morning, but it’s unknown if any of these people were still at Offutt by the time Bush arrived in the afternoon."

An unpublicized charity benefit...inside a high security AFB, and Bush & entourage coincidentally came by. Sure. If we had a transcript of the conversations there, this would be over tomorrow...

...just how did Ghouliani's OEM know? Inquiring minds want to know.

“OEM says the buildings are going to collapse; we need to get out.”

And this, new to me, is quite bizarre. It appears in the paragraph just above the one you linked:

The Command Center of New York’s Office of Emergency Management (OEM), based in WTC Building 7, was evacuated around 9:30 a.m. (see 9:30 a.m. September 11, 2001). Subsequently, OEM staff members request the OEM command bus, which is equipped with radios and computers, to use as a mobile operations center. This is then used to set up a temporary command post, located at one point in front of 70 Barclay Street, with Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, OEM Commissioner John Odermatt, and the police and fire commissioners all present. Giuliani is apparently at this post when forewarned of the WTC collapse (see (Before 9:59 a.m.) September 11, 2001). Alarm is raised when a panel truck is stopped near the temporary command post, with a painting of a plane flying into the World Trade Center on it. Fearing that it might be a truck bomb, the New York Police Department immediately evacuates the surrounding area and calls out the bomb squad. NYPD temporarily detains the truck’s occupants, who turn out to be a group of Middle Easterners who speak no English, and have rented the truck. According to a report by the Mineta Transportation Institute, the vehicle turns out to be an innocent delivery truck. The report does not state who rented the truck to the Middle Easterners, or why it shows a picture of a plane hitting the WTC.

And then there is also this from the Mineta Transportation Institute report:

Building 7 housed not only the OEM and its EOC, but other government agencies as well. The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) were among the tenants. The building had its own power supply and private building security, and it had been built to be resistant to floods and storms. As the North Tower collapsed, federal staff members were laboring to remove boxes of contraband and other evidence for safeguarding.

Removing boxes of contraband for safeguarding? What, boxes of weed? "Screw the Enron shit man. Get those thai sticks!"

OEM staff immediately called for air security over New York City. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) directed the OEM to use NYPD and Port Authority Police Department air assets to clear the airspace around the World Trade Center. OEM was assured that federal support was on its way but also was warned that Kennedy Tower was reporting an unaccounted-for airplane heading for New York. This was the plane that ultimately crashed in Pennsylvania. At 9:17 A.M., the FAA shut down New York City's three commercial airports; at 9:40 A.M., it grounded all flights in U.S. airspace.

OK, this is where I get lost with the idea that 93 was heading to New York. How the hell could that be determined by anyone. Looking at the flight path it couldn have just as easily been Philly or D.C.. Help me.

It's too late and the Mineta Institute report is too long to read now. There's some more weird stuff in it, too.

The true threat to liberty comes not from terrorists but from our political leaders whose natural inclination is to seize upon any excuse to diminish them.
~~ Walter Williams, Nightly Business Report, September 2001

Foreknowledge, reagrding Giuliani and the OEM before the Twin Towers fell.

“I went into No. 7, activated OEM, placed calls to EMS Citywide, RCC, to tell them we were there and we were activated.
Maybe five, ten minutes, not even ten minutes later, a rep from OEM came into the main room and said we need to evacuate the building; there's a third plane inbound. That was the only thing I really heard because I said, Abdo, we've got to go, and we made it down to the lobby of the building, street level, met up
with Chief Peruggia in the lobby of the building. He said that there was no third plane but we needed to re-establish OEM right there so we can coordinate what was going on. He had already been to the command post, so he told us, and he was trying to release people back
to be operational. He was looking for the Fire guy to go back in. He was there with Captain Yakimovich. In OEM with Captain Nahmod and I was Chief Maggio, who is now retired, and another firefighter from the 1st Division. We were really trying to establish OEM and a
treatment sector in the lobby of the building because there were people coming around us.
Again, times are a little fuzzy initially for me. A few minutes later, John came to me and said you need to go find Chief Ganci and relay the following message:
that the buildings have been compromised, we need to evacuate, they're going to collapse.
Testimony R. Zarillo

I was about to try and contact chief Ganci...

but apparently he died on 9/11.
