Local coverage and brains turning into "American Idol mush."

My brother-in-law, his ten year old son, and I, attended (crashed) a local Iraq war vigil organized by moveon.org. I came armed with a sign, some flyers, and a bunch of David Ray Griffen and Loose Change DVDs. As soon as I got there I was looked upon with skepticism - or maybe I just felt that way. There was a decent crowd gathering and because of the fairly prominent location in White Plains, NY, the local TV news channel and the Journal News (a Gannett paper) were both there.

I did my best to get interviewed and get my sign photographed. You can see me (but unfortunately not my sign) at the beginning of the tape standing next to my nephew who was holding the yellow “Out of Iraq” sign. My sign, “9/11 Truth Ends War”, was also clearly visible at about 1:18 into this clip.

The local paper interviewed me but the TV guys avoided me like the plague. I did manage to speak personally to several war protesters and no one gave me a hard time. In fact, many people sought me out to get my opinions on what they had already heard about 9/11. Everyone I talked to was courteous. Some were outraged, some were horrified, and some were scared at the prospect of 9/11 being an inside job. No one, not one single person, argued that this administration was not capable of it.

Even though I got only limited TV coverage, it felt really, really good just to speak the truth into a crowd of fairly sympathetic listeners. I kept it simple and claimed no conspiracies. I only asked questions and demanded answers. I did my best to educate the crowd about false flag operations and the use of terror throughout history. I gave away free DVDs. I felt empowered.

But the thing that sold everyone on 9/11 was my ten-year-old nephew. The Journal News reporter asked him why he was there and he responded “This is a wonderful family function, we all hate Bush”. I was really proud of him and his father who, along with my sister, raised him so well.

As an aside, the thing that discouraged me just a little was the fact that most of the protesters were middle aged. Where is the younger generation? Have their brains all been turned to American Idol mush? Hopefully there are in front of their PCs watching 9/11 Mysteries though frankly, I doubt it.

Gannett Papers = MSM = cover-up

The local Gannett paper, the Journal News, did not include my interview or any photographs of me or my sign in their story today.  Enough said.
