MSM Attacks In Unison Are Hard To Record
By Jon Gold

For the past few nights, media pundits such as Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, and Joe Scarborough have been relentlessly attacking Rosie O'Donnell because of the fact that she questioned how WTC7 came down on 9/11.
You may or may not have noticed, but Rosie has never actually accused anyone of anything. When asked today on "The View" whether or not she thought it was a "conspiracy", she responded by saying, " No , but I do believe it's the first time in history that fire has melted steel - I do believe that it defies physics for the World Trade Center Building 7, which collapsed in on itself, it is impossible for a building to fall the way it fell without explosives being involved - World Trade Center 7."
Tonight, the attacks became so frequent, that for one person to record them all, it would be nigh impossible (unless you had a lot of equipment). However, as I stated earlier, all Rosie is really doing is asking a question. How did WTC7 come down on 9/11? NIST has yet to release its' final report, so it's not absurd to ask the question. Why then is the media attacking her?
This isn't the first article I've had to write in Rosie's defense. On 3/16/2007, I wrote, " Rosie O'Donnell Is Not A Terrorist Sympathizer " because of the first wave of attacks against her for her comments about Khalid Sheikh Mohammed's "confession".
Are you seeing a pattern here? If you question 9/11, then the media attacks you. Just like they did when Prof. Jones came out. Just like they did when Charlie Sheen came out. Just like they did when Charlie Sheen agreed to narrate the next "Loose Change" movie. The list goes on and on for the amount of times the media has attacked ANYONE with questions pertaining to 9/11. The phrase, "me thinks thou doth protest too much" comes to mind.
Maybe Rosie was on to something when she started talking about who owns the media. If everybody's saying the same thing (Fox, CNN, MSNBC), then the people aren't hearing the other side of the story. That is the job of the media after all. To inform the people of what's going on. If we don't hear the other side of the story, then we can't hold anyone accountable for 9/11. If we don't hear the other side of the story, then we can't hold anyone accountable for the lies leading up to the Iraq War. We can't hold anyone accountable for a great many things if the people aren't informed about what's going on. Who do you think that benefits? Certainly not the people.
Don't you think maybe it would be a good idea to break up the media monopoly in this country? I do. Right now, they are no different than Hitler's propaganda machine. In a country that has "Freedom Of the Press" in its' Constitution, that is a very sad thing.

Frontpage worthy?
Eh?
:D

There is a great video compilation on Rosie's Blog
www.Rosie.com
The attack dogs have been sent out en masse, doesn't look as though it's working the way their boss' figured. Yesterday, someone compiled a video of all the "talking head" insults she has received (a solid minute + worth...lots of folks)...she is getting wonderful negative attention... Go Rosie!
its obvious why she is being attacked
the not-so-subtle message is that questions associated with 9/11 will not be tolerated.
i wish i had the same pull i used to have in NYC to organize protests - but - alas - the New York movement is too busy devouring itself in accusations of infiltration. (which is, of course, true)
gee - if i was still a street activist i would be seizing the best opportunity YET to grab national attention by protesting outside of FoxNews' live broadcasts every morning on 6th avenue. they broadcast in front of an open window for Christ's sake!
gee - i would get Bill Doyle - head of the largest 911 familes of victim's group - to issue a statement condemning Foxnews and stating - unequivocally - that Bill O'Reilly DOES NOT SPEAK FOR THE VICTIM'S FAMILES - AS HE IS CLAIMING EVERY NIGHT ON HIS SHOW.
but it appears that the NYC group is too busy working with Nico Haupt and delivering his DVDs to ABC studios to actually organize protests against these attacks by FoxNews.
I agree...
However... no one's stopping you from making a massive sign and standing out in front of Fox studios... all by your lonesome.
:D

sound like a challenge
if i ever heard one
ok - set your VCR for Foxnews starting at 8am est. if i get on the air you owe me $20.
$20?!?
I have to pay for activism? Damn, this country is assbackwards. :D

hmm..
maybe that's the answer. we need corporate sponsorship with a pay schedule. fight fire with fire.
Hand out 911 Truth leaflets in Grand Central - $20 per hour.
Hit Ann Coulter in the face with a cream pie = $100
Get on national live TV dropping the F-bomb during Fox and Friends' live weather report on the street - $500
Making Bill O'Reilly cry...
With real 9/11 Truth = priceless...

Exactly, Jon. In the past, there were laws preventing
people/groups from gaining a monopoly or even a big foothold over our media. These laws were eroded or went unenforced for a long time now--and the controlled corporate media played an ENORMOUS in aiding the perps get away with 9/11!!!
Reagan
got rid of the fairness in media laws.
and once news divisions became corporate commercial entities - based on rating and sponsorship - that was the END of journalism in this country.
Don't forget...
The "Telecommunications Act of 1996".

Media ownership study ordered destroyed
FCC draft suggested fewer owners would hurt local TV

WASHINGTON - The Federal Communications Commission ordered its staff to destroy all copies of a draft study that suggested greater concentration of media ownership would hurt local TV news coverage, a former lawyer at the agency says.
The report, written in 2004, came to light during the Senate confirmation hearing for FCC Chairman Kevin Martin.
Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif. received a copy of the report "indirectly from someone within the FCC who believed the information should be made public," according to Boxer spokeswoman Natalie Ravitz.
