Today is the day the First Responders were supposed to be on The View, although I'm not sure that this was ever confirmed, please keep your fingers crossed. My local news station is reporting that Rosie may be announcing her departure soon.

I don't follow Celebs
Never saw the view until Rosie started talking about building 7 and have since been hooked on having my morning cup of coffee (7am california time) with Rosie, Helena and Jeanette (hope I spelled their names correctly) on the Video Blog. These 3 women crack me up.
Those 10 minutes (of video blog) get me jump started every day ...I appreciate Rosies honest appraisals of the world, her poetry and Art are great too!
She often tells people to "google" topics (Building 7 & Murdoch...for instance) that come up. She is educating the masses. I am cheering her on! Go Rosie!

There is a strong buzz in Hollywood that Rosie O'Donnell will announce Wednesday (April 25) that she is leaving "The View" -- and she'll make the announcement on the show.
If it happens, it's likely Rosie will stick it out through the end of the season.
TMZ has spoken with multiple industry people who say the word is spreading and the info emanated from inside the show itself.

Dish Network info for The View has first responders scheduled for Friday. I will DVR the show the rest of the week. I've seen some reports that Rosie is set to announce her departure. That he had to be removed as he had made threats to expose the 9/11 liars with his political connections. He's comments about the girls team was a media blitz against him for something that he had been doing his entire career which John Stewart sort of pointed out recently while interviewing some writer for the Washington Post related to the Plame issue. The comments which ultimately led to Imus' dismissal were no hoax--he did indeed say them.
The Imus story that IS a hoax is the rumor that he was threatening to expose the truth of 9/11, and that that was the real, underlying motive for raising a ruckus about his comments re the Rutgers women's basketball team and forcing him out.

ABC is reporting that it has been unable to come to a contractual agreement with Rosie O'Donnell. As a result, her hosting duties on The View will come to an end mid-June.
