PNACitizen Confronts Brownback on WTC7

On 5/24/07 the University of Iowa Chapter of a Project for a New American Citizen went to a Sam Brownback event to question him on several ... all » issues. When no Q & A opportunity was presented, one member managed to inform him on the issues of WTC 7 and the latest findings of Professor Steven E. Jones. Brownback asked "what would you like for me to do?" We requested that the Senator become informed on the circumstances surrounding the collapse of WTC 7 and to support a new and independent investigation into the events of 9/11/2001.

Dear Senator Brownback,
Thank you very much for speaking with me at the close of your reception today at Glen Oaks Country Club this afternoon. I definitely endorse many of your Catholic views concerning Pro-Life,
the importance of the 2nd Amendment, and the importance of protecting our nations national sovereignty by securing our borders. I hope to be able to give you my full endorsement for the Presidency pending your recommendation of the need for a new and independent investigation concerning the attacks of 9/11, based on the information concerning World Trade Center Building 7, of which we spoke of this afternoon.
As I spoke to you of WTC 7, you asked me what I would like for you to do. In particular, I would like for you to become familiar with the mysterious collapse of this 47 story building, which fell into it's own footprint in 6.6 seconds at 5:20 pm on 9/11 without having been hit by plane or sustained any significant damage, and of which no explanation has pased the critique of the science method except for the hypothesis of a controlled demoltion.
Included in this attachment is a paper entitled "Revisiting 9/11: Applying the Scientific Method" by Professor Steven E. Jones. This paper is also available on the Journal of 9/11 Studies website at:

A day or two after 9/11, at Richard Myers' confirmation hearing, Brownback and other Senators were yuck-yucking about whether they could claim Myers as from their state, based on where he was born, went to school, was based, etc. It was disgusting - no serious questions about what had just happened.

At the risk of sounding like a nit picker may I suggest next time, don't give any wiggle room. Forget the "I want to send you an email" stuff. You should have asked him directly: Senator Brownback, will you stand in the way of investigting the mass murder of 911? If no, will you take the responsibility expected from you as a Senator to pursue justice and 911 Truth?

Immediately after it was done I was kicking myself for not being definitive and saying something exactly like you suggested when he asked me, "what would you like for me to do?" I'm not going to beat myself up over it, however, because we were expecting a Q & A, and I just ran up there telling myself that we didn't come all that way and listen to his drivel for 2 hours just to walk away with nothing. I suggest spending the valuable time reaching out to the architect and engineering communities of each city.... hold legit lectures on the collapses and fund raise to put ads for the lecture on tv and radio. then reach out to the first responders in each city with the backing of the architect and engineering communities. then hit the streets to demand the troops home and the arrest of the current gov officials parading this lie of death and destruction
every 9/11 activist must reach out to each other in their city and do this as a group effort.

Every suggestion in here is great. Grassroots activists need to use this strategy. Go to local engineering firms, college professors... Then take your "awakened" experts with you to wake up law enforcement. SL, you should repost this strategy as a Truth Action... Put it in your blog here, and get it over to the Truth action website. Also, the other suggestion is great too. Truth Squads need to start bringing portable media players with them if possible. Put relevant clips like 7 imploding, and the previous remarks of the puppet you are trying to skewer.

We know it's an Inside Job, we should expect our "leaders" to be as informed as we are about the Crime of the Century, and we should suffer no such disingenuous ignorance....
Assume they know when you bring up 9/11 (not ask if they know), and INSIST on public hearings....I would like to see a slightly more confident and knowing tone taken (although not yet abusive, unless appropriate in response to like behavior....)

Why bother with Brownback? You won't convince him and he'll never be president anyway. Or were they trying to just get a reaction on video?
dude we are writing history
every one of these videos is evidence of what was wrong with our country so that when our grandchildren ask us to regale them with stories (again) about how America was almost deatroyed from within but we managed to fight back and save her, we can have some names to tell them as far as who the bad people were, and prove it. This is ALL about getting them on the record. May not seem like much now, but when the whole world knows about 9/11, we can bring these out and say ëxcuse me Mr. Brownbag, but didn't you play dumb when asked about this? Yeah I think you did. Why don't you go back to your hole--we don't want to have to look at you. Thanks." Anyone who is thinking of ever wanting a career in politics we should catch on video denyiong the truth about 9/11. That will be how we keep the next generation of leaders relatively clean... and put pressure on the young to get with the program if they see themselves ever going into politics...

He was leading to a totally legitimate question and the guy just walks away, with his security detail laughing it off with that "whatever..": comment. His eyes turned to ICE, before he walked away, as it dawned on him the question that was being addressed to him. Good video work btw!
