FBI Knowingly Allowed Bin Laden To Personally Charter Flight After 9/11
Newly released documents prove agency let Osama's family go at his request without even questioning them

The FBI were aware that Osama Bin Laden may have chartered one of the flights that took Bin Laden family members out of the U.S. in the days after the 9/11 attacks, yet allowed the planes to depart without even questioning them, new Agency documents reveal.

While all other air traffic had been grounded for days by the authorities they knowingly allowed the immediate family of their prime suspect behind the attacks to get into planes and fly out at Bin Laden's own request.

The previously confidential documents (PDF link) have been obtained by Judicial Watch through the Freedom of Information Act and ongoing litigation.

The documents state:

Traffic control reports show that the plane made four stops to pick up passengers and was then allowed to depart the United States for Paris where all passengers disembarked on 9/20/01.

The documents reveal that the FBI did not consider a single Saudi national nor any of the Bin Laden family worthy of investigative value.

UPDATE (Thanks Jon):

'Documents inaccurate'
Asked about the document's assertion that either bin Laden or the Saudi
royals ordered the flight, an FBI spokesman said the information was

"There is no new information here. Osama bin Laden did not charter a
flight out of the US," FBI special agent Richard Kolko said.

"This is just an inflammatory headline by Judicial Watch to catch
people's attention. This was thoroughly investigated by the FBI."

Meredith Diliberto, an attorney with Judicial Watch, says her group had
seen a first version of the documents in 2005, although the FBI had
heavily redacted the texts to black out names, including all references
to bin Laden.

Nevertheless, unedited footnotes in the texts allowed lawyers to
determine that bin Laden's name had been redacted.

They pressed the issue in court and on November 2006, the FBI was
ordered to re-release the documents.

So Osama's got a direct line

to the Oval Office? Or does Bandar still get a cut?

Re: Saudi Connection

Now 911 truth advocate CIA Robert Baer once put a big emphasis on the Saudis and 9/11. His discussion about 911, the Saudis, peak oil, and NY Times etc. excerpted in this vid:

George Clooney Syriana Robert Baer:

Yeah -- good work on the FBI's part

They didn't even get the Prince's name right. It's "Prince Ahmed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz". (with an "S" not a "D" and the last name two words, not one) Although they got the Salman right later.

Isn't something that egregious under the circumstances reason for dismissal? (for the SA and maybe the SAIC, too, if they are different people)

Do you think they actually really double-checked everyone's ID and passport and got them right, too?

In other news, it's a bigger problem than people think that WAY too many in the FBI are Mormons. That's all we need now, is a Mormon president,. too. (and I mean to attack Mormons both specifically, and in general, since I think all "people of religion" are seriously flawed and have way too many "issues" and the like, especially so the more "fundamental" they are — if you think differently then we will have to agree to disagree right off the bat)

Perhaps Osama told them, 'Give my family safe passage out of the US, and in return I will do as your government wants and issue a statement taking responsibility for the attacks.' And then, once they'd been flown out of the country, he reneged. His alleged statements in the Pakistani press, disavowing a role in 9/11--didn't these appear after his family members had already left the US?

OBL Denied any involvement with 9/11 on the 16-Sep-2001

He issued this statement (16-Sep-2001) much earlier than the Pakistan interview and before the flight mentioned in this FOIA happened...

In a statement issued to the Arabic satellite channel Al Jazeera, based in Qatar, bin Laden said

"The U.S. government has consistently blamed me for being behind every occasion its enemies attack it"

"I would like to assure the world that I did not plan the recent attacks, which seems to have been planned by people for personal reasons"

"I have been living in the Islamic emirate of Afghanistan and following its leaders' rules. The current leader does not allow me to exercise such operations"

I believe it was shortly after that they trotted out the obviously fake OBL wearing the gold jewelry and obviously not OBL who then "took credit" for it.

And people said, "Oh. Okay." (pretty much en masse)

Sometimes I can't help but think we deserve what we are getting and will get due to the American people's stupidity and the like. Some of us will have to suffer for the sins of others, I'm afraid.

Oh, well. What? You want to live forever?

Timing of statement

I thought this denial of September 16 was made to the Pakistani press, but I'm happy to be corrected. My point was, hadn't his relatives already been flown out of the country somewhere in the five days intervening between the 11th and the 16th? And again, I can't help but speculate that maybe U.S. authorities were willing to do this because he might have indicated a willingness to take responsibility for the attacks in return; but then, once they were safely out of the U.S. by the 16th, concern for the fate of his relatives in the U.S. could no longer be used to influence him, and he reneged. We should ask, what incentive did U.S. authorities have to cooperate with bin Laden in this matter at the very moment when they were publically declaring him the monster who was behind the horrific events of 9/11, the initiator of a 'war that will not end in our lifetime'?

A minor point...

but the FBI refers to Osama as Usama Bin Laden. They don't even have "Osama" listed as a possible alias. So why isn't his name spelled "Usama" in this alledged FBI report?

I admit this is a minor point but at this level, small details matter... don't they?
