Peace Train

I've just re-discovered a song I loved back when I really thought we really could see world peace someday (I guess I've become more cynical lately). It is Yusuf Islam (aka Cat Stevens) singing "Peace
Train".

When you look at the user comments, you can see how far the 911 lie has led us down the path of blind hatred; and yet listening to the song with is simple message is still so uplifting:

"now I've been crying lately"
"thinking about the world as it is"
"Why must we go on hating, why can't we live in bliss"
"Cause out on the edge of darkness, there rides a peace train..."

You'll love this version of peace train...

It puts it all into context. I know we are worried about losing this country to the Bush Nazi Regime, but I also worry about losing the peaceful country portrayed in this video. We need to come together as a WORLD COMMUNITY to stop Bush Corp. So much to lose...where is the U.N.? Where is IHRA? Where is the International Court? Does G.W. really hold this much power in the world community to the point that no one is willing to stop him...and they ignore his crimes? It's all just a big puppet show.

Actually, I wouldn't mind seeing China show some muscle in the Persian Gulf. Just a visit or two with their battleships, a few subs thrown in for fun. A simple drill as a show of support/concern in the open waters of the Gulf. There may be a few soiled trousers in Washington :)
