Pawn, you missed the point. Wesley Clark now serves as a red, white, & blue cork to stick in the mouth of anyone who says it is unpatriotic to question 9/11. It should also silence those who still say label Truth & Justice activists as tin foil hat wearing nutjobs. Come'on man, we have a hard enough job ahead of us already. Can't we try and see the positive things we've accomplished so far. We've still got a mountain to climb, a break now and then sure helps out. Get on board!

I can agree with your opinion that this sends the message that it's "ok to question" to the Uber military types.. Maybe he is starting small by saying "look into the failures". It's always a start and some investigation is better than none, but I just didn't feel it , coming from him. I hate the feeling like we have to take what we can get, ya know, the table scraps that these late comers throw down for us. I can't see what it hurts though, his statement. I guess it qualifies as a "Wesley supports a new investigation" moment. Maybe I'm jaded.

I just thought of something though. This guy has the respect of many Uber Democrats. If anything it might shut them up a bit. But then he laced it with the "failures" thing. Wasn't the 9/11 Commission about finding where we went wrong and advising recommendations? Yes they were. I don't want another 9/11 Commission "failure based" investigation. So Wesley isn't really making me breathe some fresh air in that regard.,
Here's a BIGGER point:
Many of the 9/11 Commissioners THEMSELVES admit that the report was a cover-up, whitewash, etc.! Why not hammer this fact to anyone on the right or left who doesn't think that questioning 9/11 is patriotic?
Co-chair Lee Hamilton: "I don't believe for a minute we got everything right," that the Commission was set up to fail, that people should keep asking questions about 9/11...that the 9/11 Commission report was only "the first draft of history." This is the fucking co-chair saying this!
Bob Kerry, Timothy Roener admitted they received false statements-- Max Cleland resigning in protest because he wasn't going to be part of a cover-up and refused to look at information "only partially," etc.
From this context, we can make all other arguments about firefighters being ignored, no mention of the collpase of Building 7, Norman Mineta being ignored, and everything else that's wrong with the report. Why do we need a new investigation? "Because the Kean Report is wholly inadequate and the Commissioners themselves are the first to admit it!

Just a thought
One can possibly take what is being said here to mean that every U.S. Army, Marine Corp., Navy, and Air Force officer and enlisted man who were ever involved in the loading or discharge of cluster bombs or DU ammunition is guilty of War Crimes.
That doesn't sound realistic and seems to me like a radical idea that will not gain the support of the American people. If anyone wants to lump this together with 911 then the movement will surely fail as the message will be watered down by those appearing to believe Utopia on earth is possible. Kind of in the same camp as those who think nuclear weapons can all be outlawed. That just isn't feasible.
The crimes committed on 911 and the deception of the American people, to rile us into supporting wars for oil, that we otherwise wouldn't have, was on an entirely different level than what types of weapons are sanctioned for use by the U.S. military.
I would urge members of the 911 Truth movement to stay on queue about the use of deceptive False Flag terrorism and the murder of innocents, whether here or abroad in unjustified wars, as their reason for needing a new investigation into the events of 911. I would also encourage the movement to ask why alternative energies have not truly been supported in an all out way by the U.S. federal government. Most people would listen to that argument and see the greed of the oil people as the motives for the wars and stifling the development of alternative energies, while they can still make huge unshared profits with oil.
The use of cluster bombs and DU ammunition, and their respective targets, is another subject entirely.

first, Clark is not rank and file and i dont compare the actions of rank and file soldiers to those of a General, whos words and actions obviously have more consequence and sway. second, its about more than just the use of DU, its about decisions he has made as a military leader in the past, along with the rampant use of DU and his possible actions at Waco. i dont advocate everything in every link i post so please dont take whats written there as my own literal thoughts, though there is some important information there. i agree 9/11 is on a whole different level of all around ugliness and horror but i was just pointing out that Clark is not an honorable man and hes probably just covering his own ass like most in his position who make weak but sort of pro-9/11 truth comments because they see 9/11 truth starting to break through. i dont want or need Utopia but Clark's "support" should be put into perspective. im not saying dont use his comments to our advantage where possible though, im all for that.

Chris, thanks for replying. I generally agree with what you are saying. I think Clark's comments are weak also but should be used to advantage. I just want the core of the problem to be the focus of the 911 Truth movement and am wary of casting too big a net for fear that it will diminish the public's support, partially due to their inability to follow it and also some divergence of opinion due to an enlarged subject.
Unfortunately, some lesser rats might need to be allowed to jump ship if we are ever to get to the real hard core. Try to remember that this is why prosecutors need to offer reduced sentences and the like to lesser criminals in order to get to the hard core individuals.

September 24, 2007 – Seven CIA veterans have severely criticized the official account of 9/11 and have called for a new investigation. “I think at simplest terms, there’s a cover-up. The 9/11 Report is a joke,” said Raymond McGovern, former Chairman of the National Intelligence Council (NIC) and 27-year veteran of the CIA. “There are a whole bunch of unanswered questions. And the reason they’re unanswered is because this administration will not answer the questions,” he said. McGovern, who is also the founder of VIPS (Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity), is one of many signers of a petition to reinvestigate 9/11.[1]

Must we open with Kate Smith does "God Bless America"? You really think anyone who goes for that mawkish Greatest Generation stuff is going to be swayed by such a transparently opportunist and cynical use of the song?
After 30 seconds of that torture, we finally get the payoff, in the form of the war criminal Wesley Clark, harried at a book signing, delivering an abrupt ten-second brush-off to the effect that he supports an investigation into the misuse of intelligence after 9/11.
In other words, he's for investigating the Iraq war lies.
Once again, a case of "patriots question 9/11" proves to be a misquote or false interpretation. As is often the case, this is so obvious that it will have the opposite effect to what is supposedly intended. People will not watch this and say, golly, Gen. Clark (that hero!) is a 9/11 skeptic, so I should be too. No. They will watch this and say, "aha, those 9/11 conspiracy theorists are once again incompetently peddling misquotes in support of their lies."
And then the signature. "We Are Change"? Isn't that the Ron Paul campaign's youth division?
Speaking of misnomers: Can't the producers even spell the General's name right?
Note that Clark's words, if they came from a nobody, would be rocked and attacked by most "We Are Change" members as a cowardly, weaselly endorsement of lihop, blowback or some other heresy.
There was once a point to showing that 9/11 skepticism is popular rather than fringe, and shared by prominent and influential people. This was accomplished long ago. Now this effort to collect more celebrities regardless of what they really think is counterproductive and self-delusive star-fucking.
Come on kids, it's supposed to be "WE" are Change, not "media whores whom we falsely think support our cause are change."

Wesley Clark is not the enemy
He's locked in the American Mythology. His whole life is invested in serving his country. I would personally welcome him into the 9/11 Truth Movement. Accusing him of war crimes is like handing out speeding tickets at the Indy 500.
I'm not religously affiliated, but growing up in central Texas, I recited the following prayer (illegally) in public school each morning:

I don't think the video moves the ball any closer to the goal line. The point I was trying to make is that its not helpful for all of us to vent our frustrations on Amy Goodman, Webster Tarpler, Wesley Clark, Bill Maher et . .
The people we need to bring over won't be pulled by our anger which we all come by quite honestly. We know who the enemies are . . . the guys holding the bibles abusing young boys . . . those smug sociopaths who beam confidence as they lead us down the road to destruction.
