9/11 Truthers Bring Guy Fawkes Day to America

Does America really need another holiday? YES - if it's a holiday devoted to exposing state-sponsored false-flag terror!

Guy Fawkes Day is a perfect occasion for bonfires, barbecues, fireworks, masquerades, and, last but not least, V for Vendetta viewing parties. Public screenings of V for Vendetta will be held in Columbus, Ohio and Madison, Wisconsin, with private house party screenings in other locations around the country. Since V masks are so easy to find in Halloween season--they cost six bucks in the local Halloween store--why not use this amazing movie to help promote our cause?

Below is my press release for the Madison V for Vendetta Guy Fawkes Day party. I'll be discussing it on Madison's Air America affiliate the Mic 92.1 Monday morning.

Guy Fawkes Day Comes to Madison!
V for Vendetta Viewing & Discussion 11/5/07, 7 pm, Dardenelles -- Masks and Costumes Optional

Madison, WI —Remember, remember the fifth of November! A coalition of progressive groups is pleased to announce that V for Vendetta, which Vanity Fair columnist James Wolcott called "the most subversive cinematic deed of the Bush-Blair era," will be viewed and discussed to celebrate Guy Fawkes Day, November 5th, at Dardenelles restaurant, 1851 Monroe St., 7 p.m. This free public event is part of a nationwide campaign to bring Guy Fawkes Day to America, with similar screenings and house parties happening in other cities. The event kicks off World Peace Week/War on War Week, November 5th to November 11th: http://waronwar.us, http://peaceweek.net

V for Vendetta celebrates resistance against a fascist regime that has seized power through a state-sponsored terror attack falsely blamed on Muslims. Sound familiar? The film's hero, V, wears a Guy Fawkes mask, recalling the first monumental act of state-sponsored false-flag terror in modern history--the "Gunpowder plot" of 1605, the origin of Guy Fawkes Day. For centuries the British people have been told that "Catholic extremists" led by Guy Fawkes tried to blow up Parliament on November 4th, 1605. Every Fifth of November, British Catholics cower in their homes while Protestants get drunk, set off fireworks, and burn Guy Fawkes in effigy to commemorate the alleged "extremist Catholic terrorist plot" of 1605.

Historian Adam Nicholson, in his book God's Secretaries, presents compelling evidence that Guy Fawkes was a patsy, and that the "extremist Catholic plot to blow up Parliament" was a set-up by minister Robert Cecil and his War Party. The massively publicized Gunpowder Plot--the 9/11 of the 17th century--was designed to incite hatred of Catholics and trigger a century of war with Catholic Spain and Portugal. It worked, and the anti-Catholic wars that followed built the British Empire.

V for Vendetta asks the question: "If your own leaders were behind the worst terrorist attack in history, would you really want to know?" Whatever your answer to that question, you will enjoy the food, drink, costumed revelry, and cinematic thrills of V for Vendetta at the Dardenelles on Guy Fawkes Day!
