RFID in the post-9/11 World

In the years before he died and based on his friendship with Nick Rockefeller, film-maker Aaron Russo made a concerted effort to warn us about the long-range plan for mass social control involving the use of RFID devices. Many people in the 9/11 truth movement may consider this a dubious or nonsensical claim; however, there is compelling evidence that incremental steps towards this end are being taken now. This evidence includes the numerous articles, ads, and editorials related to RFID technology in the professional electrical engineering trade journals such as [EDN], [Electronic Design], and [Electronic Products], and in magazines such as [Popular Science] and [Popular Mechanics]. In order to get acceptance for RFID control, there must be "early-adopters" who use and promote RFID in normal public and commercial settings, e.g., RFID implants in dogs and cats and mandates such as the National Animal Identification System authorized by the Patriot Act. In order to refine RFID technology to the degree that it can be used for mass social control, beta tests must be performed and the resources of engineering colleges and corporations must be invested in the technologies related to mass-producing reliable RFID devices, power supplies, scanning equipment, encapsulating materials and data base management systems. In much the same way that IBM assisted the Third Reich in setting up data storage and management systems using state-of-the-art Hollerith punch-card technology, major semiconductor manufacturers are assisting the Department of Homeland Security and State governments with RFID technology. As a minor but exceedingly transparent example of an incremental step in the use of RFID for social control, skeptical readers may follow the link below to the description of the use of RFID at the upcoming Golf Industry Trade Show in Orlando, Florida.

Aaron Russo was a bit naive, imo

In some/many ways he was a simple man, and I don't mean that negatively or derogatorily like most people would. (in the classist sense) And he was obviously more than a bit paranoid, but who isn't these days. (although some need to rein it in, and I think Russo fell into that category)

Rockefeller was obviously messing with him. (because no one in their right mind, even if they were drunk off their ass, would admit to the things that Rockefeller supposedly admitted to Russo if they were real — don't get me wrong, I'm a HUGE Russo fan — Requiescat In Pace with many thanks)

And your supposition is erroneous, if only for stating such things as "and in magazines such as [Popular Science] and [Popular Mechanics]." (and pretty much any other mag, which is why I quit reading all of them seriously years ago — not to mention that if you ever talked to some of the people who write mag articles you would understand why you should not put much stock in what they say)

So Pop Mech gets their 9/11 reporting basically 100% wrong, but they are right on the money and absolutely correct when they talk about RFID? (or anything else for that matter)

This is more "The Sky Is Falling" irrational fear-mongering, imo. Just like the people who claim that the "national ID card" (which does not even really exist, except as a general concept) is going to include an RFID chip, etc., etc., etc.... (Truth: they do not, are not, and will not)

Note: The legalese about "non-functioning RFID chips in passports" uses the phrase "may invalidate" not "will/shall invalidate". (this is one of those things that hyper-paranoids and disinformationists and misinformationists like to take out of context for their propaganda-esque magnum opera)

btw — common sense (which is seriously lacking these daze) suggests that Rockefeller's above quote be read this way: (emphases mine)

"Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States,

characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and conspiring with others around the world

(that is, it's poorly written, and gives a person the chance to misinterpret it in a nefarious way, if they so choose, which people in the New World Order Movement like to do, for obvious hidden and not-so-hidden agendas)

With all due respect D, to

With all due respect D, to say the Rockefeller quote is merely poorly written and therefore highly misinterpret is also naive (imho), because Rockefeller, being a man of words among other things, knows how important quotes are while being made and repeated in his memoir.

In addition, do you think it's by chance that the wording of "a more integrated global political and economic structure" is also found in the contents of the mission of Security and Prosperity Partnership documents during the beginning of it's publication 2 years ago on the internet. I have seen this site morph from trade and security goals to recently more plausible aims that the masses can tolerate.

David Rockefeller is at the center of the circle of continental consolidation of a One World Government. He graduated from Harvard in 1936, his thesis was Fabian Socialism. "The Fabian Society is a British socialist intellectual movement, whose purpose is to advance the socialist cause by gradualist and reformist, rather than revolutionary means."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fabian_socialism

In light of 911, why do you think our borders are still wide open and the issues of illegal immigration are being ignored by the Federal govt? It's just part of the plan for integration of CA, US, and MX, just like the African Union, European Union, and soon to be Asian Union. The slow moving manipulation of Fabian Socialism by design to create a 2 tier society by removing the power of the middle class thru huge imports and exporting US jobs overseas, and their cherry on top is the creation of enormous debt to the tune 10 trillion devalued dollars, that my dear is how you bring down one of the greatest nations in history.

Like those wacky, crazy 911 conspiracy theory folks.

Here are some quotes from the links you posted. Not sure how they support your position.

***

The government had long maintained that the passport chips to be used could be read from only 10 cm away. But at least one test showed that a reader could read a passport chip from 30 feet away.

Getting paranoid about strangers slurping up your identity? Here’s what you can do about it. But be careful – tampering with a passport is punishable by 25 years in prison.

Using RFID, inspectors would be able to read the cards as cars approach their booths. That would provide inspectors with information before they do a brief physical check of occupants and identification.

The Smart Card Alliance said that the government failed to follow best practices for using RFID in identity applications, and recommended that the government use short-range RFID chips which have only a range of a few inches.

The nice government men would never misuse such power if they had access to it. They've always acted responsibly in the past, haven't they?

Your subjective opinion, backed by magazine blurbs and a Wiki article do not make for a strong position. This is the same tactic used by those whose personal opinions are that the official 911 story is correct (the possibility that it isn't couldn't exist within their world-view), and the "proof" can be cited in hundreds of supporting newpaper and magazine articles and concurring experts.

To state that there never will be RFID in a national ID card, something you personally have zero control over, well, that's an amazing prediction. Do you have any stock tips for me?

Finally, you don't win any points using words/phrases like:

irrational fear-mongering
hyper-paranoids
disinformationists
misinformationists

when referring to people who believe or give credence to the other side of the argument (like me, perhaps). All you are doing is personally insulting whoever does not agree with you, which is quite apart from the merits of the argument, one way or the other. Ad hominems make your case weaker, not stronger, in that you choose to use them instead of facts to back your case.

Should you hand someone an axe and hope he doesn't use it against you, or should you instead lock it up in a nice safe place?
