9/11 Truth movement Is Growing a Progressive Wing

For people who are not much in touch with the ongoing PROGRESSIVE ORGANIZING all over the country, here are what I (and I think most progressives) see as top priority (aside from elections):

1. Grassroots campaign for PUBLICLY FINANCED POLITICAL CAMPAIGNS at all levels of government. Sound hard? It is: but there is already great progress toward this in Maine, Arizona, Portland OR, and elswhere, and a grassroots groundswell for it. Also can be googled as VOTER OWNED ELECTIONS.

2. ENDING "CORPORATE PERSONHOOD." There are books and articles on this, and several organizations who've been working on it for a long time.

NONSENSE AS A WEAPON AGAINST 9/11 TRUTH

The 9/11/01 attack was a complex psychological operation carefully designed to conceal the truth, in spite of numerous obvious red flags in the fraudulent official story. As such it relies on the dissemination of memes that overpower rational consideration of the evidence. One of the most important memes is the idea that all people who question the basic tenets of the official story are loony conspiracy theorists, whose ideas are not worthy of consideration. Part of the construction of this meme was to make the attack so audacious that even a straightforward accounting of the basic facts sounds too outrageous to possibly be true.

[City Council Head Introduces 9/11 Truth Presentation in Bloomington]

We had a very successful event here in Bloomington, Indiana this week. The full theater audience of 600 stayed for over three hours without a break to hear outstanding presentations by Richard Gage and Steven Jones, and gave a standing ovation at the end. The event attracted three city council representatives, and our city council president gave the introduction. A number of architects, scientists and other professionals were in attendance.

Much thanks to the Bloomington 9/11 Working Group, whose sacrifice and heroic efforts made it all work.

Below are two articles, one from Bloomington Herald-Times, published just before the event, and the other from the Indiana Daily Student, published the day after.

Bloomington city councilman Dave Rollo and local chemist Kevin Ryan acknowledge that they see it all when they broach the subject of Sept. 11 and tell people that the purported facts as have been presented to the public just don't add up.

"They don't want to hear it," says Ryan, a quality control manager for a local pharmaceutical company. "And I feel for them on that. If the official story is as false as it appears to be, we’re so far down the wrong road in this country it's breathtaking."
