Elizabeth Kucinich: A Kucinich Administration Would Re-Open 9/11

At the end of this interview, Elizabeth Kucinich says that a Kucinich administration would re-open 9/11. (It should be noted that Kucinich is one of six Congressmen who voted against H.R. 1955)

Her response on investigation
She said they lack the resources for a full investigation, at least in the subcommittee headed by Kucinich today, and that a Kucinich adminstration would pursue an investigation. This seems to admit to constraints on the reach of Congressional investigations, and implies a need to formal executive branch authority, likely in the Justice Department, to do a complete job. Granted, having honest, careful and aggressive formal inquiry in the Justice Department would be helpful, but I'm not sure Congressional investigations are so weak, unless they are led by weak leaders.
Congress' reach was also stymied in the Kennedy assassination
Somehow Congressional reach was also stymied for years concerning the Kennedy assassination. Even after a Congressional investigation was formed in 1977, due to the public outrage following the first public showing of the Zapruder film in 1975, it was still stymied in other ways by funding limits, smears, firings, and other gimmicks.
Congressional resources are virtually unlimited
and under the full control of the House Speaker.
Thus, if Speaker Pelosi wanted to fully fund an investigation into the events of 9/11/01 she could easily do so. Reality speaks volumes.
Mrs. Kucinich was being very diplomatic when she alluded to the limited resources available to her husband's domestic policy sub-committee. His sub-committee exists at Speaker Pelosi's whim, as does its level of funding. Rep. Kucinich has also said that because his sub-committee is focussed on domestic policy, its ability to investigate the events of 9/11/01 is quite limited. I think it's clear in this case that the Speaker is placating a member with a small, but vociferous constituency while simultaneously making sure that he has no real power to do anything of consequence, yet more evidence of the Democratic elite's corruption and complicity with criminals.
Has Ms. McKinney filed papers to run for president yet?
After messing with the GOP by voting for Ron Paul in the CA primary, I look forward to voting for someone I actually believe in next fall.

Let's just hope that it's not a disingenuous act in an effort to "cool the boiling water". Maybe I've become too cynical, but I have no hopes that any Congressperson will (or can) bring justice to the 9/11 victims' family members. Our grassroots movement has been active for several years already and only NOW they are *beginning* to look into getting *limited* investigations underway without a set timeframe. Does that latter point not remind anyone of what Congress says about bringing our troops home from the mid-east?
It's seems as though they're throwing meatless bones at us and we are gnawing away as though they are full meals. With the election 1 year away, the possibility for Impeachment is fading fast into oblivion. It perturbs my mind how we, who are clearly pushing the most revolutionary movement since the original Revolutionary War, are still putting our blind faith into presidential hopefuls who don't have a shot in hell to become elected president, nor do anything of consequence for our cause.
When neither Ron Paul (who claims to oppose re-opening 9/11) nor Dennis Kucinich (procrastinator-extraordinaire) do anything of substance to help our movement, what THEN will we do (or say)?
We might as well be preparing to hit the streets, ala WeareChange, right as we sit at our computers and laptops typing away. We need to become a movement of legs, not fingers.
But please...by all means, ignore this until Martial Law is declared. Wait until Santa is coming down the chimney to block off the fireplace.

I'm very interested in monetary policy - I don't come to exactly the same understanding that he does, but definitely know that the Fed really needs to come into democratic control and to be the fourth branch of government. So I think that there could be some bi-partisan movements there."
I'm not sure how that would work exactly, but it sounds like an amazing idea... talk about a "uniting" ticket.
I thought this was madness first time I heard it,. just maybe,..
RP is far right 'free'-market libretarian say,. and DK is lefty with a socialist tendency we could say,. how could they work together? I suppose first things first,. they both are 100 percent against these wars, and the forign policy that lead to and maintaines it,. and they both think america should not be the world millitary dominators,. . kucinich has talked about an ongoing and a new investigation of 9/11 and Paul has seemed open to it., but back tracked a bit,. . They both sound like they have great records of integrity and they admit to likeing each other even while being widely apart on the role of government., perhaps some form of unity ticket will come about when they are both pushed out of the race in the primaries,. . we all know the pirate bankers will never support these guys,. so the parties will not nominate them. The system is rigged the game IS fixed!

Probably couldn't reach the hard-core 10-15% at each end of the political spectrum that could be manipulated by fear tactics (telling conservatives Kucinich is a "socialist" and telling liberals Paul is "racist", or something that pushes their particular buttons) of the ticket having a Dem/Rep on it, but maybe that wouldn't matter....
But I share your concerns about the "fix" being in.

Mrs. Kucinich answers with, "fear," as a reply to why other candidates don't ask for a re-opening of investigations into 9/11? Both, the interviewer and Mrs. Kucinich seem to know the answer but are unwilling to articlate it! You wonder about the "fear of spiders" comment? Spiders placed in your bed? It confirms a very heavy prohibition against 9/11 Truth!
Kucinich is saying the right things, but step back for a moment and ask? Why is Dennis Kucinich the designated role player? Maybe, I'm prejudice, but I react negatively to the English accent! Does anyone know much about Elizabeth Kucinich's background and her ties to the American Monetary Institue? Just the fact she's tied to an organization concerned with money may tell us enough?
I can't shake the feeling, it's all staged, especially, in respect to the Democratic-led Congress which seems to be DOA since it took over?

If it weren't so controlled you may possibly see more in Congress raising the issues Kucinich is? You seem to think it's impossible? In the interview, the participants at the end were reluctant to even say what the fear of might be? That's control!

What the US needs is a genuine Third Party alternative.

I've looked into the AMI a bit. In my opinion they are a step in the right direction, but they don't go far enough--they still want to leave government with a monopoly control over the money supply! I think Ron Paul is superior on this issue because he wants to abolish the monopoly and leave the people free to decide what they want to use as a medium of exchange.
Has anyone here read Murray Rothbard's What Has Government Done to our Money? It really helped to clarify some of my thinking on this issue.

Ron Paul did not vote on H.R. 1955
and was in Concord, New Hampshire on the afternoon of October 23, 2007 (the vote was taken that day).
I think it's safe to say that, had he been in Washington D.C. at the time of the vote, he would've voted against it.
Someone should ask him via email or in person, it would be good to get him on the record.

This clip of CBS "journalist" Hannah Storm "interviewing" Dennis and Elizabeth tells you all you need to know. Kucinich is serious, composed, talking about preventing "WWIII". "Storm" baits him, interrupts him, insults Elizabeth. In his chivalrous defense of his wife, Dennis is devastating. Does "Storm" care that she's shamed herself? Does she write these questions herself? How many figures does she make to smear the wife of the only candidate with the stones to draft articles of impeachment?

for a Unity Ticket. I wouldn't care which was POTUS or VP..... I 'd vote for any possibility of a counter to the obvious future events appearing to cascade towards us. That doesn't mean, of course, that I wouldn't be tasting the pudding.
