Dear Mr. Weitzman,

Thank you for your prompt response to our request for clarification of your remarks to the House Committee on Homeland Security on 6 November 2007. As per your recommendation, we have shared your response with interested parties and in so doing we have discovered that it is identical to your response to other groups and individuals with similar requests and concerns. While we fully appreciate the difficulty of individually responding to the many inquiries you have received, your “canned” response falls far short in addressing the misconstrued associations in your remarks to the House Committee and sadly, adds to the confusion about your motives regarding the selection of websites contained in your PowerPoint presentation.

It may be true that your “reference to 9/11 consisted of one sentence out of six pages of testimony,” however, that one sentence, by your own admission, was the opening statement through which the content of the presentation was to be understood. You now state that your “only concern with 9/11 is when the inquiries slide into incubators for hate.” By inference, you are now suggesting that the website belonging to Architects and Engineers for 911 Truth is, could “slide into,” and/or become “an incubator for hate,” and by association is somehow similar to websites “based upon the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.” Please explain your rationale. We would wholeheartedly support your concerns if your presentation only included a slide depicting “this fake Hammas soldier wearing a Star of David,” however, as we originally stated, one of our primary concerns is your callous misrepresentation and inclusion of the website “ae911Truth.org,” implying a valid comparison with know terrorist and hate-based entities.

Regarding your public defense of First Amendment rights, that “any steps taken in regard to the Internet must be done legally,” we need not remind you and the public at-large that your presentation was made to representatives of the primary legislative body of the United States, in-charge of creating the laws by which we are governed, and as we are sure you are aware, since 9/11 much legislation has been enacted which threatens or supercedes provisions contained in the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights. There is no other reason to make a presentation to that body save to affect and influence legislation, hence, it is imperative that the public be provided a complete explanation of your statements, motives, selections and recommendations in this heightened milieu of constitutional infringement to which we have all been subjected since 9/11.

Your refusal to directly clarify why it was you included the ae911Truth.org website in your presentation is deeply troubling. In order to dispel any questions or concerns you may have regarding the goal and mission of Architects and Engineers for 911Truth, you are cordially invited to attend as our guest a symposium on December 15 at Boston’s historic Faneuil Hall, entitled, “The Destruction of World Trade Center Towers 1,2 and 7: A Case for Controlled Demolition,” at which Richard Gage, AIA, founder of ae911truth.org will be a featured participant. There, you will be provided a first-hand, “real world” opportunity to scrutinize the message put forth on his website and confront Mr. Gage directly regarding your concerns about violent radicalization and homegrown terrorism. We could also arrange a private meeting with Mr. Gage that weekend if you feel that would be more appropriate.

Please be advised that we will not rest until a full and complete explanation of your selection process is provided and a retraction is issued. Be assured that we are motivated to rectify this misunderstanding so that the American public and all interested parties can, in an unencumbered fashion pursue a complete understanding of the events of 9.11.01.
