On December 16, 2007, the 233 Anniversary of the Boston Tea Party, in keeping with the defiance and patriotic symbolism of the 1773, activists from across the country who are part of the 9/11 Truth Movement will be converging in Boston for the Second Annual Boston Tea Party for 9/11 Truth.
The two-day event will begin with the Tea Party Conference, “Scientists and Citizens Speak Out” on Saturday 12/15 at 10am, with scientists Stephan Jones, Joel Hirshhorn, UL Engineer Kevin Ryan and architect Richard Gage, at Faneuil Hall on Saturday, December 15, an evening program “9/11 Sent Them to War” follows with Ray McGovern, Nancy Murray of the Boston ACLU, Barbara Honegger and other speakers followed by public rallies at Boston Common and Boston Harbor on Sunday December 16, beginning at noon.
In the spirit of American patriots who on December 16, 1773 rebuked the lack of representation and tyranny to which the colonies were subjected by Great Britain, by tossing crates of British tea into Boston Harbor, Boston 9/11 Truth will enact a "9/11 Truth Tea Party" on December 16, 2007, calling on "all American Sons and Daughters of Liberty to cast-off the tyranny, deceit and lies imposed on the American public. Join with us to cast these “Documents of Tyranny” into Boston Harbor on Sunday December the 16th :

The Boston Tea Party's for Truth are a brilliant concept. Here's hoping this year's event is a smashing success.
My concern: You have Kevin Barrett listed as a speaker, along with Cindy Sheehan. I hope he takes the opportunity to explain why he supported Webster Tarpley's position during the Kennebunkport Warning fiasco, where in Mr. Tarpley called Cindy Sheehan and others "wretched individuals" and "appalling liars", accusations Tarpley did not back away from, even during his recent European speaking tour. Mr. Barrett has instead made luke-warm facile explanations fro Tarpley's behavior while claiming those of us holding Tarpley accountable are somehow worse--see Arabesque's blog:

It would be lovely if he's turned over a new leaf. If so, he can just come out, explain his faux pas and how he's going to improve. And he certainly should make time to explain to Ms. Sheehan what happened in Kennebunkport and offer her a personal apology in solidarity with her situation.
Yes, he helped convince Actindependent to take down that cointepro style cartoon. But if he was really on the ball, he'd have done that when the cartoon came out, not a month later when he knew his reputation was hurting with his Tarpley association.
Personally, I'd be willing to give him a chance if he come clean first. But as far as I can see he's just trying to avoid his issues for as long as he can.
As organizers of the Boston Tea Party for Truth I'd be concerned that having Mr. Barrett as a speaker might prove more a liability than an asset.
Again, great concept and I hope your event is a rousing success.

"Forgery is a serious crime, and falsely accusing someone of forgery is an even more serious crime. Yes, I think Webster Tarpley made a terrible mistake by accusing his misguided, ignorant, badly mistaken opponents on this issue of being infiltrators. Webster should apologize forthwith. But Tarpley’s ill-considered accusation is nothing next to the mendacious fraud accusations put forth by the four regretful signatories. It is they, far more than Tarpley, who must apologize quickly if they want to retain any credibility. Frankly, if I were one of the Warning’s organizers, I would be strongly considering legal action. The possibility of cointelpro involvement in this affair is not to be dismissed. It is hard to imagine how anyone could be so stupidly unethical as to make transparently false accusations of forgery without some form of pressure having been applied. That pressure could come from threats; or, more likely, from “nice antiwar friends” from the foundation-funded pseudo-left... Cindi Sheehan and her foundation-funded fake-peace-movement “friends” are easy targets for this kind of manipulation by professional psy-oppers. Wake up, Cindi! Anyone who takes foundation money is on the CIA payroll. The foundation-funded “left” magazines, radio shows, and organizations are CIA propaganda outlets. It really IS that simple."

Does this mean that Barrett is admitting to us that he was on a CIA payroll according to his own insinuation? If he disagrees, I think he should apologize and retract his comment.
