Offense and Defense in 9/11 Truth

The best quarterback in the NFL can't score if he's getting sacked every play. He's got to have good offensive tackles to keep the hounds away from him long enough to make the play.
The same principal applies in 9/11 truth.
Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and 911Truth.org are helping to spread the truth about 9/11 in an effective way. And yet both groups have been accussed of being "homegrown terrorists", or at least radicalizing people and tending to create terrorist sympathizers. See this and this.
If we don't get some offensive tackles in to support ae911truth.org and 911truth.org, they won't be able to keep on spreading truth and demanding a new investigation.
What to do?
To start with, please consider pitching in to a 9/11 defense fund so that defamation and civil rights lawyers can sue anyone who falsely accuses these groups of supporting terrorism simply for speaking the truth. Please consider donating directly at ae911truth.org and 911truth.org. These are not the only groups doing good work, and any other groups or individuals who are harassed for speaking truth should be supported.
In addition, we should support all of the websites that are calling "foul" when the defenders of the official version use illegal and immoral tactics to try to suppress the truth from coming out.
We've got to know how to protect our quarterbacks so that we can win. While it is true that the best defense is a strong offense, it is also true that -- without offensive tackles -- no quarterback would complete a single play.

Could you be more specific? What kind of other-than-financial-support should be offered? Other than WeAreChange, who always seems to be holding down the fort by themselves, is there any REAL activism going on at this point?
Great thread here but as is usually the case in recent times, we still seem to be in this perpetual "plotting" stage (as opposed to actual planning). What logistical steps should be taken? Has nobody thought of ways to physically confront the mainstream media using non-violent direct action? How about a national call for all 9/11 truth and anti-imperial activists to forfeit work and other obligations for a day in order to force the corporate media to cover 9/11 truth? These Boston Tea Parties are cute and invigorating but their numbers are too small and they're not gaining the attention they need because the mainstream media is choosing not to allow the public to know they are occuring. In my view civil disobedience is necessary regardless of how long we procrastinate due to fear and other psychological constructs we face.
If we in the truth movement could adopt tactical methods of resistance that were fairly well developed in the (former) anti-globalization movement, we'd start making some real head-way.
One of the easiest things you can do
is to ask any uninformed person why they would be associating these websites, with obviously valid questions about 9/11, with homegrown terrorists. The simple answer to any rational thinking person is that they are scared of the information. But "why would they be scared?", someone might ask. And when people figure this out in a flash there will be a whole new crew of 9/11 truth advocates. The ae911truth.org Architects site is one of the most credible websites out there. Anyone that sees this site must be scratching their head in wonder!!!! Obviously they are freaked!!

Continue to appeal to media.
There are some very articulate and imaginative people around here. Maybe we could pool our intellectual resources to come up with sample letters to editors of the largely derelict media, to bring their attention to the concept of ordinary citizens seeking truth and justice. I know this is a no-brainer to us and is not new, but in todays political climate, especially with the credibility of the current administration being practically nil, there's a possibility that honest people in the media will be more receptive to legitimate criticism of the administration and by extension, the official 9/11 conspiracy.
If we can identify the Truth Movement with underground resistance and dissident movements in repressive regimes of the past, it will be more difficult for our opponents to identify us with holocaust deniers etc. If we're going to go on the offense, we have to attack the attackers, making them out to be the bad guys. It ain't easy but it never is in the big leagues.
That and a good law firm of course;)
Strategies and Activities...
Yeah we've got to do a better job at strategizing, that's just the bottom line. The Bill Maher event was brilliant. www.TruthAction.org is on the money. We've got to get smarter in how to get publicity. www.WeAreChange.org has figured out ways to get a lot of publicity online.
You'd think we could figure it out with all this technology and history we have to learn from. The mass gatherings in the street really don't work as a sole means to getting what we want, as we've seen by the media blackout on our 9/11 Anniversary marches in New York. I'm not saying these aren't a valuable part of our movement anymore, but we need something to create (non-violently) the type of media blitz that the Bill Maher event created.
We also need to continue to reach out to celebrities of all kinds. Look at the publicity Rosie O'Donnell got for us on the View. She introduced a lot of people to what we are thinking and talking about. Maybe the next one will create publicity and get more to start questioning for themselves what it is we are talking about. We have the films. That isn't a problem.
I still think about Critical Mass and wonder what it will take to achieve a mass of people with the means to bring about the changes we want. If that is even possible anymore? Will there come a time when we just give up on 9/11 Truth and say those that perpetrated it have just won. They control the Government, Military, Media, and Money?
I don't want to give up. I think there is some creative way out there, yet to be thought up or acknowledged that will turn the tide and be the tipping point to what we need. Mass re-evaluation of what occurred that damn day. Open dialogue in the town squares and media centers.
Abbie Hoffman, Gandhi, King.. these people taught us the way. I hope we can learn from them, continue their fight, and think of ways to succeed.
Whatever approach. If it's football. Boxing. Whatever. I look at it recently in terms of boxing. You've got to hit and run. Jab. Boxing philosophy I feels works real well in this 9/11 Truth approach. I hope we land a knock out punch.
Censor everybody who expresses a dissenting opinion
Here's an idea for saving enlightened civilization from the clutches of abjectly evil tyrants. Censor everybody who expresses a dissenting or potentially controversial opinion. It is especially important to censor the opinions of those who speak the truth. We simply cannot risk exposing the truth to the public. Doing so might bring the wrath of the perpetrators upon us. No, we should let the perpetrators continue about their business unopposed and we should nip at their heels in the pretense of real action.
