Slipgrid Fri, 01/18/2008 - 12:03pm
Members of Cincinnati 9/11 Truth will be on Mike McConnell’s National Radio Show this Saturday. It will be live on Saturday, January 18, 2008, at 1 PM. You can listen online. Just heard him plug the show.
I plan on live blogging the show at the Cincinnati 9/11 Truth blog, with references and sources from the broadcast.

Own the Truth. Cincy members
Own the Truth. Cincy members are Patriots and should take the high ground with the radio interview. Why would anyone be against an investigation? If the Administration has nothing to hide they have nothing to fear.
Thanks for the good words of
Thanks for the good words of encouragement. I passed them on to the member who will be there.
They have weight on them, but I believe they can handle it. They have my support, and the support of the rest of the group. This could be a huge moment for the movement. I wish them the best.
Fear is the mind-killer
"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."
-Frank Herbert, Dune, "Litany Against Fear", 1965
Too bad I have moved to West
Too bad I have moved to West Virginia. I am listening live right now at 2:20 p.m. I missed the first hour, but it seems Mike McConnell was personally groomed for this interview by James Meigs himself. The sheer chutzpah with which he claims to know everything while at the same time making ridiculous claims is pretty maddening. Have you guys mentioned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth? When I tuned in I heard McConnell make the asinine comment that no experts in relevant fields agree with us.
"There is nothing more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity." MLK
Now he's touting Popular Mechanics as the ultimate authority.
Yeah, they were only to be
Yeah, they were only to be on for thirty minutes, and it looks like they are getting two hours. I think it's great.
Sometimes listening to these
Sometimes listening to these radio debates infuriates the bejeezus out of me. First, the arrogant host acts like a p____rick and spews continuous lies, strawmen and ad hominem attacks. Then, the three truth advocates do a fairly weak job of countering his BS and supporting our side. If I had been on that show, I would've absolutely torn the host a new one. Maybe I'm just a bit more knowledgeable about the events, or maybe the three guys were too nervous to keep their wits about them -- I don't know. Perhaps these guys should've found a 9/11 'nerd' to come on the show with them -- preferrably someone with experience debating the topic, and familiarity with the strongest evidence of the movement. I hate to say it, but I'm pretty upset with how the debate went.
Why not mention sulfidated steel, evaporated steel, XEDS analysis of microspherules, undetonated thermate chips, Sibel Edmonds, Barry Jennings, etc...?
These guys were duped into spending half the show talking about the "missile hit the Pentagon" hypothesis, for Pete's sake.
I do appreciate what they did -- and were trying to do -- but I almost feel like they blew a big opportunity.
PS: Did I mention that the host is an arrogant p____rick?
