9/11 Aircraft 'Black Box' Serial Numbers Mysteriously Absent

Of all major U.S. airline crashes within the U.S. investigated and published by the National Transportation Safety Board during the past 20 years, the 9/11 'black boxes' are virtually the only ones without listed inventory control serial numbers.

With flight data recorder serial number data that is virtually always provided within NTSB reports of major U.S. commercial airline crashes that occur within U.S. territory, one can trace an installed device to a particular registered aircraft through manufacturer or airline records.

The following e-mail was provided by a Susan Stevenson of the NTSB on 12/26/2007, in response to a 12/16/2007 public correspondence e-mail inquiry:

"Yes. NTSB investigators rarely encounter a scenario when the identification of an accident aircraft is not apparent. But during those occasions, investigators will record serial numbers of major components, and then contact the manufacturer of those components in an attempt to determine what aircraft the component was installed upon."

Because of the criminal nature of the 9/11 attacks, the FBI became the lead investigative agency into the 9/11 aircraft mishaps, along with the requested aid of the NTSB. It is possible that the FBI seized FAA 9/11 aircraft records containing component serial number data for aircraft identification purposes and that the FAA no longer possesses them.


By document labeled "Testimony of Marion C. Blakey, Chairman National Transportation Safety Board before the Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation United States Senate", it is indicated that the NTSB assisted the FBI with the process of "aircraft parts identification" regarding the said aircraft.

The only other instance of undocumented FDR serial numbers following a major U.S. commercial aircraft crash within U.S. territory during this 20 year period, seems to be a little known mishap that oddly, occurred on September 11, 1991, exactly 10 years before the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. This report also did not list a FDR manufacturer or model number, possibly because the accident was immediately determined to be the result of negligence on the part of aircraft maintenance personnel.

And the accused patsies did not seem to possess the skills or motivation to pilot the 9/11 planes.

Does the component serial number data collected from the crash scenes match the data contained in FAA 9/11 aircraft records, that seem to have been seized by the FBI?

There is a jury instruction that goes something like this:

The party who has the power to produce evidence but fails to do so will have that evidence construed against it/him/her.

The failure of the FBI to produce the serial numbers that connect the black boxes to the four 9-11 planes would lead to a logical conclusion that the four blackboxes are NOT from the four planes which have been officially identified as having crashed in New York, Wash DC and Pennsylvania. Absent a provable chain of custody for those black boxes from the crash sites to their current location, they should not be admissible in a court of law.

That jury instruction goes for all the rest of the hidden evidence, as well.

No, the missing black boxes

No, the missing black boxes are not reason to believe your absurd conclusions about drones and missiles. Without question the four planes crashed where the official story says they did. There is an abundance of evidence for that. We should ask, however, why the black boxes are being withheld from us; what evidence do they contain that the masters of the cover up-- especially DHS Chief and Israeli citizen Michael Chertoff-- need to keep from us?

For the two flights that crashed in NYC, since they both crashed within 30 minutes after being hijacked, the Cockpit Voice Recorder would have recorded and retained the sounds of what went on in the cockpit at the time of the hijacking. Would those be the sounds of a gruesome, and lengthy, knifefight? Or perhaps more likely the muffled sounds of two gunshots-- keeping with the credible reports of guns in the possession of the hijackers from both Tom Burnett on UAL93 and Betty Ong on AAL12?

Guns used by the hijackers blows the official story sky high, and points at a sophisticated false flag operation by a professional unit like MOSSAD, masquerading as Arabs while using weapons smuggled onto the planes by their moles in airport security.

Although the Pentagon and Shanksville crash scenes are admittedly unusual, the 'no planes' at the WTC is remarkably flagrant disinformation, that is in my opinion designed to deter serious investigation of the 9/11 aircraft.

The 'no planes' disinfo is an effective and clever deterrent to any genuine inquiry of the 9/11 planes.

If the planes recorded on 9/11 were the products of 'Tv fakery' as alleged by Reynolds and others, why did these members of the NYFD look overhead as the first plane flew directly overhead?

(Hint: Because a real 767 jet was traveling over them.)

Reynolds is a suspect character. Something of a respected libertarian academic economist, he rather incongruously got an appointment with the decidedly un-libertarian Bush 43 administration. A couple years after 9/11, he retired from his position and became a touring spokesman for fantastic (fantastic in a bad way) theories about 9/11, aggressively yet nonchalantly offered up to his audiences as though self-evident.

Early on, he leveraged his earlier reputation to speak at gatherings of libertarian scholars, whom he largely succeeded in convincing that 9/11 truth was kooky nonsense. He eventually stopped getting invited to speak at these things, but the damage was done, and now few prominent libertarian intellectuals -- and not just among those pro-D.C.-types who work for the Beltway think tanks -- are open to considering 9/11 truth.

In the libertarian Yahoo group I moderate, one poster -- a political science professor -- mentioned that at a libertarian scholars' conference in the late '90s he went out for drinks one evening with Reynolds and a couple of others. Eventually talking one on one together, Reynolds told him that he supported the bombings of and sanctions on Iraq (this during Clinton's second term), which the political scientist remembered because it was so unusual for attendees at this conference to hold such an attitude.

So the political scientist was even more surprised to learn years later that Reynolds had turned around diametrically and was now crusading jointly for 9/11 truth (of the wacky phantom planes/beams from space type, as it happens) and against U.S. imperial wars. What's going on here? he thought. But when he learned from my discussion group that Reynolds was peddling prima facie crackpot stuff that's made him more or less anathema to the mainstream 9/11 truth movement, it started to look to him like a secretly planned disinformation program. Reynolds may have been a well-suited recruit for countering awareness of 9/11 truth among libertarian intellectuals. If so, he's succeeded beautifully.

DNA, Plane Imprints

Following the attacks on the World Trade Center, passengers from the flights were identified by DNA analysis.[1] The Office of Chief Medical Examiner "cataloged 19,913 putative victim tissue fragments from 2749 individuals reported missing."[2] This unprecedented identification process involved "DNA extractions... on every one of the 19,906 remains, and 4,735 of those have been identified. As many as 200 remains have been linked to a single person. Of the 1,401 people identified include 45 of those aboard the hijacked planes - 33 from Flight 11, which struck the north tower, and 12 from Flight 175, which hit the south tower."[3] Although about half of the victims at the WTC have not been accounted for, reports continue to surface to this day in which passengers from the flights that hit the World Trade Center Towers are identified.[4]

* March 19, 2002: "A hand found in the rubble at ground zero was matched through DNA testing to Trentini, a 65-year-old retired schoolteacher from Everett, Mass., it was reported. Trentini and his wife, Mary, 67, were flying to Los Angeles Sept. 11 on Flight 11 to visit their grandchildren. It is the first time DNA has been able to verify the identity of any victims aboard the two planes that were flown into the World Trade Center, according to the report. The fingerprints matched Trentini’s, and his college ring, believed to be his Wofford ring, was still on his finger."[5]

* November 2, 2006: "For the 6th time in a week, the city has identified another victim from the 9/11 attacks. DNA analysis identified 66-year old Alberto Dominguez, from Australia. He was visiting family in the US and was onboard American Airlines flight 11, which hijackers crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center. His remains were discovered during the original recovery effort. A spokeswoman for the medical examiner's office says remains found at that time are being re-tested."[6]

* April 11, 2007: "DNA tests have identified the remains of three more people who died in the attacks on World Trade Center on 11 September 2001. They were American Airlines Flight 11 stewardess Karen Ann Martin, passenger Douglas Joel Stone, and a man whose relatives have requested anonymity."[7]

As for the plane impact hole?

"No other plane fits the hole as precisely as a 767, down to the narrow grooves created by the wings on either side of the impact hole, especially visible on the right. Attempts at overlaying diagrams by no-plane advocates, such as Stefan Grossmann and the German Engineers, are flawed, using inaccurate diagrams of 767s, aligning those diagrams incorrectly and/or using photographs from angles that appear to show debris where the engine holes should be."[8]
