The ugly truth is that if you want to have even a remote chance of getting the job Obama wants
you simply MUST be in bed with those guys. They are the ones who decide if you find yourself in the middle
of some ugly ho(mo)-scandal or not, whether your plane crashes or not, whether the SS protect you ( as they are 100% capable of) or not etc etc .
Here in Europe there are many who don't understand why Americans can elect Presidents who make absolutely NO SENSE at all whenever they
open their mouths and on top of that they only vaguely resemble real human beings and then comes a guy like Obama or Ron Paul for that matter,
he's also an honest human being although most Europeans strongly disagree with him on his "the market takes care of everything" -faith, especially
on what is known in America as "socialised medicine". That's because we have had that for 50 years and it works !

Unless some miracle happens ( like Diebold feeding the computers the wrong wrong numbers :) )
it will be either Obama, HillDawg or wacky John McCain who wins . You could do a lot worse than the guy who said this in 2002 :

Now let me be clear: I suffer no illusions about Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal man. A ruthless man. A man who butchers his own people to secure his own power. He has repeatedly defied UN resolutions, thwarted UN inspection teams, developed chemical and biological weapons, and coveted nuclear capacity. He’s a bad guy. The world, and the Iraqi people, would be better off without him.
But I also know that Saddam poses no imminent and direct threat to the United States, or to his neighbors, that the Iraqi economy is in shambles, that the Iraqi military a fraction of its former strength, and that in concert with the international community he can be contained until, in the way of all petty dictators, he falls away into the dustbin of history. "
