September 11th, 2001 could prove, in the end, to have been another in the long list of False Flag Operations for the history books, the jury is still out. However, there is precedent for more False Flags to come since the events of that horrible day…

False Flag Operations have played into world politics for decades if not centuries, igniting fear upon a citizenry to create a fervent patriotism among its countrymen in order to incite nations to war. The Gulf of Tonkin, Pearl Harbor, the Reichstag Fire and the unexecuted Operation Northwoods, are just a few broadly known, factual, and well-documented False Flag Operations in our History.

Those examples, to most, are familiar, but what is a False Flag Operation exactly?

“False flag Operations are covert operations conducted by governments, corporations, or other organizations, which are designed to appear as if they are being carried out by other entities”.

And “False Flag Operations are not limited to war and counter-insurgency operations, and have been used in peace-time”.

Also, “Political or religious ideologies will sometimes use false flag tactics. This can be done to discredit or implicate rival groups, create the appearance of enemies when none exist, or create the illusion of organized and directed opposition”.

Many of you have heard of False Flag attacks before and have come to some conclusions and realizations of your own based on the undeniable facts of their existence. False Flag attacks are used as just another weapon in a government’s arsenal and it is easy to look the other way when our eyes see things they don’t wish to see. With the well-oiled (pun intended) machine - of the corporations, pumping (intended also) their slick (and again) talking points over and over on our cities’ Nightly News it’s even easier. Because, if we give our minds enough time to absorb, if we don’t look away, if we allow ourselves to see what is truly in front of our eyes, then we must then do something about what we see.

It is also easy - when we’re talking about the past, to distance it from any possibility of being connected to the present, but the truth is ‘ the past’ isn’t that far behind us. In fact, something even more deliberate - pertaining directly to False Flag Operations, began to take place after our country was attacked on that fateful morning of 9/11.

Less than a year after the mass murders in America on Sept. 11th, 2001 a founding member of the Project for the New American Century (PNAC), then Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld sought more ways to harm Americans. More ways in which to shed their blood in sacrifice to an ideology of power and greed; a gluttony of evil to feed off our fears – the seeds of which that had already been steadily sown. Rumsfeld was planning on the United States government funding your and/or others deaths by way of a new program.

Rumsfeld’s 2002 plan to provoke terrorist attacks in order to draw terrorists out made no impact in the American media save the Oct. 27th, 2002 LA Times article titled The Secret War by, William Arkin. This plan came packaged in a program called P2OG or Proactive, Preemptive Operations Group, which Arkin briefly, but clearly explains,

“This body would launch secret operations aimed at "stimulating reactions" among terrorists and states possessing weapons of mass destruction -- that is, for instance, prodding terrorist cells into action and exposing themselves to "quick-response" attacks by U.S. forces” and,

“Such tactics would hold "states/sub-state actors accountable" and "signal to harboring states that their sovereignty will be at risk," the briefing paper declares”.

What may be becoming clear here, is that P2OG is not a singular False Flag Operation, but instead is an Operation of False Flags - multiple premeditated events in which to incite violent terrorist responses against Americans and American interests here – these events orchestrated by our own government. The False Flag conspirators’ theory is that fearful and angry Americans will in turn support further invasions and occupations anywhere they are told the enemy is, in other words, they believe the populous will buy into the eye for an eye reaction. With the majorities reaction to the attacks on Sept. 11th this hope is not too far-fetched. In thinking on this let us not forget the PNAC document Rebuilding America’s Defenses where Rumsfeld - a year before 9/11, signs on to the PNAC’s collective stated belief of the necessity of,

“Engaging in multiple and simultaneous theater wars “ with their stated reason being,

“In order to control resources”.

According to the Federation of American Scientists, the Defense Science Board (DSB) recommended creation of the preemptive operations group (P2OG) in its "DSB Summer Study on Special Operations and Joint Forces in Support of Countering Terrorism" in August of 2002. In their report of the study the Pentagon’s advisory group at DSB said,

“One way to invigorate U.S. intelligence would be to "Develop an entirely new capability to proactively, preemptively evoke responses from adversary/terrorist groups," according to the Defense Science Board,

“Such an approach would "improve [intelligence] information collection by stimulating reactions" from the target.

One hundred "highly specialized people with unique technical and intelligence skills such as information operations, PSYOP, network attack, covert activities, SIGINT, HUMINT, SOF, influence warfare/deception operations" could constitute a new, elite "Proactive Preemptive Operations Group (P2OG)," reporting to the National Security Council with an annual budget of $100 million.”

The fact that the 2001 Summer Study is not available on the DSB website like previous and post Summer Studies are, is a curious thing to say the least. In fact, the only Summer Study published in 2002 was in May of 2002; which was a report on the 2001 Summer Study – a study before the events of Sept. 11th. Not only did DSB publish a year old report while omitting the current study, they also included the 2001 attacks in said report,

“This study was completed prior to the events of September 11th, 2001 and those happenings are therefore not reflected in this text. However, a review of the recommendations in light of that event confirms the validity of the conclusions and the need to accelerate implementation”.

The only mention of the missing 2002 Summer Study I could find on the DSB’s website is published within one of DSB’s tri-annual newsletters from Oct. of 2002. P2OG itself is not mentioned by name. However, the Federation of American Scientists (FAS) offers the text of the actual 2002 Summer Report by the DSB on the P2OG program in a PowerPoint presentation on their website.

You may note on page 11 of the PowerPoint of the DSB newsletter an available list of DSB board members as well as a list of those people and departments their newsletter is distributed to.
In 2002 Chris Floyd of Counter punch writes this about P2OG,
"Proactive, Preemptive Operations Group (P2OG)"--will carry out secret missions designed to "stimulate reactions" among terrorist groups, provoking them into committing violent acts which would then expose them to "counterattack" by U.S. forces”.

And in 2003 Chris’s story made #4 in the Project Censored Censored 2004, a list of the top 25 censored stories of 2003. Chris wrote an update at that time stating,

“There has been no new information about the group since it was first mentioned nationally in the Los Angeles Times as part of a larger story on Pentagon plans for new "secret armies." Was it funded? Is it operational? Has it "flushed out" any terrorists lately by goading them into "action"? Are any of the post-Iraq War spate of terrorist atrocities linked to P2OG activities? We don't know. And with Donald Rumsfeld's openly avowed penchant for "strategic misinformation," how will we ever know?”

It is unknown at this time if there is an advisory group studying this programs potential any longer or if P2OG has ever been implemented since it’s conception. P2OG has completely dropped off the radar as has been pointed out and is not included on the DSB website. Some speculate the P2OG program has been absorbed into the highly secretive and rarely acknowledged Joint Special Operations Command or DELTA in North Carolina.

Larry F., my research assistant from Canada says of the possibility of the advisory group being disbanded,

“The continued existence of a P2OG advisory group is irrelevant if the policy they created and encouraged carries on”.

Knowing we have a history of individual False Flag Operations in our country, we must add to that the facts and secrecy surrounding our governments wish to federally fund and manufacture terror on our own land against our own people by way of an Operation of False Flags (P2OG). We must then come to further conclusions as to what it means to us. The facts are clearly there to see and as an American seeing them, we cannot turn away from them. Ignorance is not accountable in a US court of law, even when murder is being tried. It is our duty as American citizens to arm ourselves with knowledge, to disseminate the facts against propaganda, and to tell the secrets they wish untold, all in order to protect and defend our country from enemies both foreign and domestic, otherwise we become a part of the treason.
