Michael, that's awesome!
Excellent schooling of Posner.
Remember the high-profile
Remember the high-profile endorsements and sustained media adulation given Case Closed in 1993?

"But then in 1993, on the 30th anniversary of the assassination, he blindsided us. In response to a question by a CNN reporter Clinton said that, after reading Case Closed , he was now satisfied with the official verdict in the case."
So Bill Clinton endorses the Warren Commission because of Posner's lazy, lie-riddled Case Closed? Really?
Lest we forget, here is Posner being trotted out by Fox against 9/11 skeptics. His performance is a text-book Mockingbird hit job, including a double-dose of the "holocaust denier" smear, equating of Loose Change and Oliver Stone's JFK with "Nazi propaganda", and plenty of bogus outrage.

“On the altar of God, I swear eternal hostility against all forms of tyranny over the mind of man."--Thomas Jefferson
Clinton and Rudolf Augstein
I didn't know that Clinton had the same reaction as Rudolf Augstein, then chief editor of Der Spiegel (a "respected" German rag). I translated the Augstein article and critiqued it line by line (as long as I could stand it) and put it in the appendix of Looking for the Enemy, which is now a book but I can put it back online if anybody's interested. In sum, Augstein is (was, methinks he's dead) a liar, and Clinton is too. No one with any intelligence can read Posner's book and be convinced of anything except that he is a lying CIA shill, so if they agree, that puts them in the same category.
