the book is so much more than any one subject. it covers a story with a foundation based on real 9/11 research and documents. It opens the doorway for many, including those who are big advocates for peak oil, but what is real is the more important nature of this book to caution us for what is lurking in the shadows, based on honest creative and talented 9/11 research by one hell of a good writer, Steve Alten.

I struggled with the whole "peak oil" issue for a long time before I decided it was just not true. It is a whole topic within itself much like 9/11. On the surface there is much evidence that supports the idea that we are running out of oil and there is a greedy struggle in the political arena to control it. On the other hand how much of what we hear is "disinformation?" A conspiracy exists no matter what side of the issue you stand. The oil companies are either over reporting how much oil they have in reserve or they are under pumping to drive down the supply to increase profit. Then there's Lindsey Williams who claims there is 200 years of oil in Alaska that is known about but is being suppressed. Is he telling the truth or is he just trying to sell his book? What sways me against the idea of peak oil is the understanding of how our money works. The rising cost of oil isn't as much to do with the supply and demand of the oil as much as the increasing supply of our "dollars" which destroys its value. The reality is the value of our dollar is going down. My wife is from a small oil boom town in West Texas. The people there generally don't believe there is an oil shortage. Many of them say they have seen the oil and believe in a conspiracy to not pump American oil. One theory I heard was we just want to use their oil first and then once theirs is gone we'll have some sort of monopoly on the world oil supply. One question I have is how do we know that oil is a "fossil" fuel anyway? Is there DNA evidence of dinosaurs in oil? My seven year old is learning about dinosaurs in school. She's being told that there may be archaeological evidence of dinosaurs in Texas because of all the oil they found there. Nice to promote the idea of the "fossil fuel" theory at such an early age. Interestingly NASA recently reported evidence of an abundance of oil on Titan, one of Saturn's moons. When were dinosaurs roaming around on Titan I wonder. One thing is for sure that whether you believe in peak oil or you don't we all believe 911 was an inside job. Let's get that out in the open first. There will be plenty of time to debate peak oil after we expose the criminals about 911. I'm all for promoting the book in the interest of 911.

peak oil is real . . it just means that we've reached the maximum earth oil output . . . it doesn't mean that we're running out of oil. the supply curve is leveling out while the demand curve continues on its space shuttle trajectory.

what we're running out of is "cheap oil" . . . . the more energy it takes to extract the oil, the less net energy gain . . . oil shale takes so much energy to extract that its almost a wash . . .the last big reserve of "cheap oil" is Iraq (where it leaks into people's basements) where its been kept relatively underground due to our continuous embargos and bombing. cheap oil is what allows us to build huge black roads with rivers of petite women driving lincoln navigators talking on their cell-phones driving two blocks to the 7-11 to get a gallon of milk.

i do agree that the version of peak oil theory being sold by the corporations and their solutions are bogus and self serving and they are trying to establish a carbon tax to fund their global ambitions . .

but the science of "peak oil" is sound . . . Michael Ruppert's predictions so far have been remarkably accurate.

within the oil industry for about two decades until U.S. field data proved the theory valid in the early 1970's. After this point it became widely accepted within the industry, but not publicly acknowledged or promoted for all the obvious reasons. It takes millions of years to create petroleum and there is only so much of it in the ground.

The "peak" has been flattened and stretched to form more of a "wobbly plateau" in order to prolong the relatively short era of oil and give time for the elites to make their transition to other forms of energy while maintaining control and reducing total energy demand (i.e. world population). This has been and is being accomplished through a combination of targeted demand destruction and artificially created supply constrictions.

No one can look at the current demand and supply curves and not see a serious problem for humanity within the present paradigm.

There is a positive way forward, but it involves exposing the goals, strategies and tactics of the elites and empowering the people of the world to create a sustainable future. Hence, the importance of 9/11 truth and the truth movement.
