Truckers strike - RALLIES. <-- solidarity and outreach opportunities

APR 28th in D.C.
MAY 1st in NYC
MAY 5th SHUTDOWN nationwide

Dr. Bob has alerted me to this incredible opportunity for outreach and solidarity with many powerful groups including TRUCKERS OF AMERICA.

From Dr. Bob:
JB of http://www.theamericandriver.com would like to invite ALL 9/11 TRUTHERS and all patriotic citizens to join with the TRUCKERS OF AMERICA STRIKE on Washington D.C. Monday, April 28 and in New York City, Thursday May 1st. The People of the United States will be demanding their country and government back immediately, from the murdering, thieving, lying rich elitist criminals that are in current control.

This is a huge opportunity for outreach and solidarity.

Thousands of Semi's legally screwing up the normal flow of D.C. traffic and tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of marchers demanding our police and military obey the oaths they took to defend the Constitution and help us restore it and physically arrest these criminals. The Longshoreman, the teamsters and a vast amount of European Press will be there. Maybe groups of the American Media that needed the courage to tell the truth will get the guts and follow the Europeans lead! I know it is short notice, but help us out if you can. It may seem an impossible task to restore the Constitution, until you think of what our forefathers had to endure inventing it.

If you live on the east coast please print your flyers by the thousands, put on your smiles and be a part of these incredible historical events.

Great opportunity! (I'd also love to see some 9/11 truth

signs/banners on the sides of those big rigs!)

So would I, Colombo, so would I....

I often get honks from big rigs when I put up my 9/11-related freeway signs, so turnabout would be greatly appreciated.

This truckers strike appears to be solely about high fuel prices and not about unregulated trucks coming into the U.S. from Mexico, as previous actions were. Personally, I have no problem with high fuel prices as they are a more accurate reflection (i.e. reality check) of peak oil kicking in and demand far outstripping supply. In a capitalist system prices are the ultimate wake-up call.

That said, this is an unprecedented opportunity to reach out to a vital ally in our struggle to restore our republic to the rule of laws based on the constitution.

I would suggest stressing the importance of maintaining a well regulated and safe environment for truckers and the trucking industry, and highlighting the plight of the first responders (as our tie-in with 9/11) when interacting with the truckers and supporting their strike. Fuel prices are a secondary issue, although pushing greater production of bio-diesel is always a good thing.

Without trucking, this country comes to a complete halt in a few days.

Let's take this opportunity and run with it, brothers and sisters!

The truth shall set us free. Love is the only way forward.

"demand far outstripping supply."

"OPEC Secretary-General Abdullah el al-Badri said Sunday oil prices would likely go higher and that the group was ready to raise production if the price pressure was due to a shortage of supply something he doubted. "Oil prices, there is a common understanding that has nothing to do with supply and demand,""

And besides that if it were a supply & demand issue there would be no obscene amounts of profits.

My problem with high gas prices.

Like it says on the trucker website... "Our Government IS a part of high fuel prices."

I have a problem with high gas prices because they are generating artificial scarcity. That's not my opinion, that's a fact. Read "Armed Madhouse" by Greg Palast and you'll see why. The goal of Iraq is to keep the oil in the ground, not pump it and lower the price! Gas companies are making the biggest profits ever. Peak oil or not, it's clear that they want to keep it as profitable as possible for as long as possible.

Artificial scarcity is indeed part of the problem

and you are quite correct about Iraq being manipulated. This is nothing new, one of the reasons (indeed, perhaps the main reason) for Gulf War I was to freeze Iraqi production and limit their exploration and development to artificially flatten the peak, stretching it out and creating this wobbly plateau we're now seeing.

It is important to keep in mind that Saddam's justification for invading Kuwait was that he accused the Kuwaitis of horizontal drilling into Iraqi oil fields and stealing Iraq's oil. Who is to say that this is not going on now and that this stolen oil is not being used to displace falling Kuwaiti and Saudi reserves? I strongly suspect that this is the case.

American-style corporate capitalism is all about profit maximization, they will do anything they can get away with in pursuit of this end.

Once the market realizes and assimilates the reality of peak oil, prices will go even higher until they find equilibrium with demand (including future demand and alternatives which replace petroleum products).

Along with artificial scarcity manipulating supply, I suspect that there is a co-ordinated effort at targeted demand destruction, as well. These market manipulations are to further mask the reality of peak oil and extend the oil era for as long as possible, further maximizing the profits of those who control oil.

As for me, I don't drive as much and combine trips whenever possible. A clean vehicle and proper tire pressure aids fuel mileage, as well.

Fortunately, I'm in good health and love to walk and ride my bike.

I hope that you and yours are well.

The truth shall set us free. Love is the only way forward.

I offered a Trucker a DVD...

at one of the 11th Day Actions at Dealey Plaza in Dallas. He told me he knew all about 9/11 because he listens to Alex Jones on the road.
he was glad to accept several.
