Some brief thoughts on future "Week of Truth" campaigns

(I'm taking a quick break from two days of housecleaning so this will be brief and updated more fully, asap. Don't you love it when your "Martha Stewart" relatives visit?)

I've been following the Week of Truth process with great interest as I think this WoT campaign concept is an excellent way for the truth movement to leverage its diverse, disparate and geographically distributed demographic in a simple and yet profoundly strategic manner.

When considering future WoT campaigns I think we should keep in mind most or all of the following "guidelines":

1) WoT campaigns should involve something that at least 75% of people can agree on (i.e. no brainers).

2) WoT campaigns should be activities that can be done easily from just about anywhere.

3) WoT campaigns should not involve much expense or time investment (e.g. travel).

4) WoT campaigns, whenever possible, should be in support of our larger strategic goals (more on that soon).

5) WoT campaigns should involve direct actions that everyone can do and feel empowered by doing (i.e. they are making a real difference).

So, with this in mind, let me briefly suggest what I think should be the next two WoT campaigns. The first one actually bumps the second one down on the list as it is more time sensitive.

Week of Truth 2

Print out the new Fourteen Points of Agreement with Official Government Reports on the World Trade Center Destruction paper on three sheets of paper (i.e. both sides of paper) and hand deliver or mail them to every high school, college and university instructor in the science, engineering and architecture departments.

Yes, I know you all love to email stuff, but keeping in mind the first rule of sales (or is it the second?)...always put the product in their hands!

Faxing might be an acceptable option, but actually walking in and making sure it gets physically placed in their in box will make a big difference, and you might just be able to have a short, friendly chat, too. If you want to go to the trouble and expense of using an envelope, feel free to. I would suggest putting an innocuous return address on it, just your name and a plain email address, perhaps (i.e. don't put on "Society for the Destruction of the Global Elite and New World Order" ya dig?)

A very brief cover letter would be good, but is not critical. I'm sure some folks around here can come up with some samples (GW?).

This is time critical because we need to catch these folks while they are still easy to find at their various institutions of (mis) education, yes? YES!

Some will be leaving for summer vacations in the next two weeks.

Week of Truth 3

This idea fits into a much larger strategy I've been cogitating on for some time (more on that later this week).

WoT 3 is for everyone to get literature for the FealGood Foundation* and other reputable organizations helping the first responders, ground zero workers and all those effected by the toxic dust and take it to their local fire and police departments and talk to them about the need to help all these folks who have been abandoned by their (our) government.

* I'm hoping we can draft Jon Gold to help with the literature as it appears there is nothing down-loadable at the FealGood site.

Please note that no mention of the other issues surrounding the events of 9/11 should be mentioned by you during this first visit, unless they bring it up. This should be solely focused on helping our suffering brothers and sisters.. The primary reason to do this is because it is the right thing to do and these people need our help NOW, they don't have time to wait. The secondary benefit is this action will open doors and help us make significant strategic partners as we move forward.

So don't go in wearing your favorite "9/11 was an Inside Job" hats and tee shirts (even if they are purple, maybe especially if they are purple! LOL@myself) This is about sales, brothers and sisters, and we want to make the sale, yes?

I will be posting more on both of these WoT campaign ideas very soon, maybe late tonight. Right now I have a kitchen and bathroom to clean (yippee!).

I look forward to reading what you all think about all of the above, please don't hold back.

I hope that you and yours are all well.

We are approaching the tipping point, brothers and sisters, trust me on this, so let's get smarter and more organized and take this to the next level.

Much more soon,

John W. Wright

If you haven't...

Please post this on the WOT site. Thanks.

Why isn't Dick Cheney in prison?

I will shortly

Is there already some FealGood Foundation literature available for download?

Can you recommend some other charities that support the NYC toxic dust victims.

I've told some of my local firefighters that I'd drop some by and I'd like to follow through asap.

Thanks for all you do, Jon.

Looks like this went "splat"

Maybe I need to sex it up some to get people interested. A catchy video set to music, perhaps?

sigh

Where are all the activists these days?

Without energy and focus Week of Truth will indeed become known as Weak of Truth?

Bah, go away negative vibes!

Who all is coming to SF this weekend?

Bring your dancing shoes and roller skates!

Bright colored 9/11 shirts, too.

The truth shall set us free. Love is the only way forward.
